Abstract
Método para producir acero inoxidable, especialmente acero refinado al cromo o al cromo-níquel, en un dispositivo de fusión que comprende uno, dos o más crisoles (1,2) que operan según el método de arco voltaico o de inyección de oxígeno, que comprende los siguientes pasos: (a) Cargar material fundible líquido y/o sólido y soportes de aleación(1); (b) Fundir el material sobre arco voltaico; (c) Descarbonizar la colada por inyección de oxígeno; (d) Reducir la escoria que contiene óxido de cromo, con una distribución de tiempos que permite una gran reducción del cromo contenido en la escoria (19), de manera que el tiempo de la descarbonización (3) es igual o menor que la suma de los pasos de reducción de la escoria con arco voltaico (4), sangrado (5), carga de materiales fundibles líquidos y/o sólidos y soportes de aleación (1) y fusión con arco voltaico (2).
