Abstract
La presente se relaciona con un método para codificar datos del usuario en vectores de código y con un método correspondiente para decodificar vectores de código en datos del usuario. Para poder usar el mismo decodificador ECC para decodificar más de un tipo de datos se propone un método de codificación comprendiendo los pasos de: generar un primer bloque (B) de un primer número fijo (Z1) de símbolos de datos tomando un segundo número fijo (Z2), siendo menor que dicho primer número (Z1), de símbolos de datos del usuario (U), y un tercer número fijo (Z3) de símbolos de datos no operacionales (D), y disponiendo dichos símbolos de datos del usuario (U) y dichos símbolos de datos no operacionales (D) en un orden predeterminado; codificar dicho primer bloque (B) de símbolos de datos usando un codificador ECC (2) para obtener una palabra de código (E) teniendo un número fijo de símbolos, dicha palabra de código (E) comprendiendo dicho primer bloque (B) de símbolos de datos y un segundo bloque de un cuarto número fijo (Z4) de símbolos de paridad (P); y generar un vector de código (C) mediante la selección de un quinto número (Z5) predeterminado de símbolos de datos del usuario (U2) y un sexto número (Z6) predeterminado de símbolos de paridad (P1) de dicha palabra de código (E), la suma de dichos quinto y sexto número siendo predeterminada y menor que la suma de dichos números segundo y cuarto.
