Abstract

Un procedimiento para producir una provision de combustible diesel a partir de bitumen utiliza vapor, nafta y una fraccion diesel hidroisomerizada producida por un procedimiento de conversion de gas, para respectivamente (i) estimular la produccion de bitumen, (ii) diluirla para transporte por canería a una instalacion de mejoramiento, e (iii) aumentar el índice de cetano de una fraccion de combustibles diesel hidrotratada producido por mejoramiento del bitumen mezclándola con una fraccion diesel de conversion de gas hidroisomerizada, para formar la provision diesel. Esta provision tiene un índice de cetano más alto que la producida a partir de bitumen solamente, y se utiliza para mezclar y formar combustible diesel.
