Abstract
Elemento constituido esencialmente de lana mineral que presenta una reaccion al fuego reforzada. Tal elemento tiene la particularidad de presentarse bajo la forma de panel, y es utilizado para la construccion de conductos de aire. Los paneles comprenden un nucleo de lana de vidrio, estando dicho nucleo compuesto de fibras de lana de vidrio que actuan como componentes de la lana. Las fibras de vidrio del elemento segun la invencion presentan un diámetro sensiblemente más grande con respecto al diámetro de las fibras de vidrio que son utilizadas actualmente para la fabricacion de paneles o de conductos de similar aplicacion. Las fibras de vidrio utilizadas de acuerdo a la invencion poseen un índice de delgadez de un valor que oscila entre 5,8 +- 0,5 sobre 6 gramos. La invencion concierne asimismo un procedimiento de fabricacion de conducto de aire a partir de los paneles mencionados.
