Abstract

Plaguicida biologico a base de quitosano y namátodos entomopatogenos. La presente consiste en una nueva formulacion plaguicida, bioestimulante y con efectos fungicidas que une la accion de bioestimulacion por parte del quitosano a la de control biologico de plagas en cultivos agrícolas y forestales debida a insectos fitopatogenos por parte de nemátodos entomopatogenos de las familias Steinernematidae y Hererohabditidae. Hay una accion sinérgica entre el bioestimulante y el plaguicida biologico debido a la accion de bacterias simbioticas de los géneros Xenorhabdus y Photorhabdus que portan los nemátodos de estas familias. La accion anteriormente mencionada se ve potenciada sinérgicamente por el efecto bioestimulante del quitosano sobre las plantas, al favorecer el desarrollo radicular y su grado de lignificacion y provocar la elicitacion de genes productores de fitoalexinas como mecanismo defensivo.
