Abstract
Describe métodos, plantas transgénicas y microorganismos transgénicos para la biosíntesis de productos naturales halogenados, donde la halogenacion esespecífica del sustrato y regioespecífica. En particular, se refiere al uso de metabolitos halogenad os, producidos para la proteccion de plantas contra losfitopatogenos. En este aspecto, provee plantas transgénicas con resistencia aumentada a los fitopatogenos, y organismos de biocontrol con propiedades debiocontrol aumentadas.
