Abstract
Un conjunto de batería (10) para dispositivos electronicos portátiles tales como computadoras, cámaras de video y teléfonos celulares que comprende unalojamiento (12) donde se instala una batería (36). El alojamiento (12) lleva un circuito sensor decarga (20), el cual produce una senal de descarga quecorresponde a una medicion de la cantidad de carga extraída de la batería. El alojamiento además lleva un procesador (22) que corresponde a la senal dedescarga del circuito sensor con el fin depro ducir una senal que corresponde al período de tiempo a transcurrir con anterioridad a la descarga de la bateríabasado en la velocidad actual de descarga y un visor (14) que responde a la senal para representar un período de tiempo quecorresponde a l a cantidad de tiempoa transcurrir para descargar la batería de acuerdo con la velocidad de descarga actual de la misma. Un método de indicacion remanente hasta la descarga de unabatería contenida en un alojamiento para batería quecomprende los pasos de: medicion y acumulacion de la cantidad de carga extraída de la batería;determinacion del tiempo remanente hasta la descarga de la batería a partir de la carga extraída y acumulada; y representacion, en un visor instalado enelalojamiento, del per íodo de tiempo correspondiente al lapso a transcurrir hasta la descarga de la batería.
