Abstract

La presente se refiere a composiciones de células condrocitarias, en especial humanas, y también se refiere a métodos para su preparacion y a susutilizaciones. Más particularmente, la presente describe la produccion de suspensiones de condrocitoshum anos autologos, en la cual se utilizan enzimasrecombinantes y/o medios compatibles con un uso farmacéutico. La presente describe también métodos y composiciones para la congelacion de condrocitos, enespecial en ausencia de DMSO. Los condrocitosprodu cidos pueden ser utilizados in vivo para restaurar estructuras cartilaginosas afectadas, tales como losdefectos cartilaginosos post-traumáticos o la osteocondritis disecante de las rodillas o, en términos más generales, para el tratamiento yrefeccio n de losdefectos significativos del cartílago, en especial del cartílago articular.
