Abstract

Planta transformada y sus descendientes, que está modificada en las secuencias reguladoras y/o en el numero de copias de genes de un gen translocador deATP/ADP de tal modo que presenta uno a varios aminoácidos en cantidades modificadas con respectoa una planta no transformada. Dicha planta transformada y susdescendientes presenta una capacidad de transporte aumentada para ATP en la membrana que recubre los cloroplastos y además presenta principalmente uno o variosaminoácidos esenciales encanti dades modificadas. Gen translocador de ATP/ADP para usar en la planta descripta con una secuencia de nucleotidos de Arabidopsisthaliana (N° de acceso EMBL Z49227). Estructura génica que contiene un gen translocador de ATP/ADP como el descriptoasí co mo también secuencias reguladorasunidas operativamente con este gen. Vector que contiene el gen translocador de ATP/ADP o una estructura génica como la descripta. Semillas de las plantasdescriptas. Tejidos o células o material que se puedereproducir de dichas plantas. Procedimiento para la preparacion de una planta con contenido deaminoácidos aumentado de acuerdo con lo descripto que comprende transferir el gen translocador de ATP/ADP, o la estructura génica o el vector descriptospormétodos de biotecnología. Uso de las plantas transformadas o tejidos o células de las mismas o de extractos de las mismas en áreas de la agricultura, laindustria forrajera, la industria farmacéutica o para la salud.
