Abstract

Se trata de compuestos de quinolona de formula (1) en el que: R1 es arilo o heteroarilo; R2 es hidrogeno, alquilo C1-6, aril(alquilo C1-4), aril(alqueniloC2-4) o (alquil C1-6)carbonilo; R3 se selecciona de halogeno, ciano, hidroxilo, alquilo C1-6(opcionalmente sustituido por halogeno, hidroxilo, amino, carboxiloo (alcoxi C1-6)carbonilo), cicloalquilo C3-7, alcoxilo C1-6, amino, mono- o di(alquil C1-6, amino, acilamino, carboxilo, (alcoxi C1-6)carbonilo, carboxi(alquiloxilo C1-6), (alquil C1-6),(alquil C1-6)tio, (alquil C1-6)sulfinilo, (alquil C1-6)sulfonilo, sulfamoilo, mono- y di-(alquil C1-6)sulfamoilo, carbamoilo, mono-y-di-(alquil C1-6)carbamoilo, y heterociclilo; m es 0 o un numero entero de 1 a 3; R4 y un sustituyente de R1 están unidos formando un puente saturadoque comprende uno o dos átomos de carbono y un heteroátomo seleccionado de O y NR5; R5 es hidrogeno o alquilo C1-6; Y es un grupo de union que tiene de 2 a 6grupos metileno en una cadena lineal y en el que uno o más grupos alquileno pueden tener uno o más sustituyentes alquil C1-6 y cuyos sustituyentes pueden estarunidos formando un puente alquileno C2 o C3; Z es NH u O; y sus sales, preferiblemente sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables; son inhibidores de la metioniltRNA sintetasa del S.aureus y de utilidad en terapia como agentes antibacterianos. También se proponen los objetos mencionados en el título.
