Abstract

Se pueden preparar dispersiones o emulsiones acuosas estables combinando, en un dispersor mecánico, una corriente de una fase dispersa fundida o líquidacon una corriente de una fase continua fundida o líquida para formar una dispersion o emulsion. Lacorriente de fase dispersa fundida o líquida contiene unpolímero que es preferiblemente solido a temperatura ambiente, pero fundido a cierta temperatura elevada. El polímero se forma en un estado fundido o se formay se funde a través de un proceso de extrusion reactiva continua. Se ha descubierto que la dispersion con un tamano de submicra de baja polidispersidad puedeser preparada a través del método de la presente invencion.
