Abstract
Un mezclador de fluidos estático incluye un conducto para el flujo de fluidos alargado que tiene un eje ubicado en posicion central y que se extiende demanera longitudinal, y una pared interna generalmente cilíndrica que se extiende alrededor dedich o eje y que define una vía para el flujo de fluidos dentrodel conducto, que se extiende a lo largo del eje central del conducto. El mezclador también incluye, por lo menos, dos piezas de deflexion internas desplazadasen circunferencia que estándisen adas para crear vortices de giros contrarios en los fluidos que atraviesan el conducto. El primer deflector tiene la forma deuna placa alargada e inclinada que se encuentra ubicada en dicha vía para el flujo de fluidos en una primera ubicaciondentro del citado conducto. Esta placade deflexion tiene un extremo aguas arriba, un extremo aguas abajo y un eje longitudinal. La primera placa de deflexion se encuentra montada sobre un montajeque se extiende entre la pared y la cara aguas abajode la pl aca de deflexion, de manera tal que el extremo aguas abajo de la primera placa de deflexion estáradialmente separada de la pared en una primera distancia que es menor que el radio del conducto. El extremo aguas abajo de la primera placa dedeflexion seencuentra separado radialmente de la pared en una segunda distancia que es mayor que dicha primera distancia, de manera tal que la placa de deflexion seencuentra en un ángulo respecto del eje longitudinal del conducto. La segunda piezade deflexion tiene una configuracion y una disposicion que sonesencialmente iguales al primer deflector, con la excepcion de que la segunda pieza de deflexion se encuentra desplazada en circunferencia en aproximadamente90 grados y se encuentraseparada longitudi nalmente del conducto desde dicha primera pieza de deflexion. Los extremos aguas arriba de las piezas de deflexionestán separadas de la pared, de manera tal de permitir el flujo de fluidos alrededor de los extremos aguas arriba, yasí minimizar las c orrientes parásitas ysimilares detrás de las piezas de deflexion.
