Abstract

Un método y dispositivo para grabar informacion en unidades en un portador de grabacion parcialmente grabado (11), por ejemplo un disco optico. Lainformacion es grabada en una pista representada por una serie de marcas de diferentes longitudes deeje cucion entre una longitud de ejecucion mínima y unalongitud de ejecucion máxima y patrones de sincronizacion de marcas, cuyos patrones no ocurren en la serie de marcas y comprenden al menos una marca larga deal menos la longitud de ejecucionmáxima. Al menos una unidad de informacion es codificada en una senal modulada comprendiendo elementos de senalcorrespondiendo a dichas marcas. La pista es explorada hasta una posicion de enlace antes de una de las ubicaciones dirigiblesseleccionadas, y la senalmodulada es grabada desde la posicion de enlace. La senal modulada es provista a inicio y/o al final con un elemento de senal de enlace correspondiendo a unamarca de como mucho la longitud de ejecucion mínima,
