Abstract

Se trata de un proceso para preparar éteres, particularmente teramil-metiléter y metilter-hexileter (TAME y MTHE respectivamente), a partir de isoolefinasC5, C6 y alquilalcoholes (alcanoles). Dicho proceso es conducido en dos etapas: en una primera etapa se procesan cargas de dichos reactivos, en reaccioncatalizada, conducente a la formacion de cargas intermedias que contienen alquil-teralquiléteres, isoolefinas y alquilalcoholes excedentes, que se procesan encolumnas de destilacion, en presencia de un segundo catalizador de eterificacion con la incorporacion adicional del componente alquilalcohol, para formarmezclas azeotropicas, para formar y recuperar una fraccion adicional de dichos teralquiléteres. Util en la formacion y recuperacion de fracciones (C5-C6)utiles para formular aditivos para combustibles hidrocarbonados, particularmente gasolinas. Ilustra la figura en forma esquemática una variante preferida, quecorresponde al procesamiento de las cargas en una primara zona de reaccion (reactor de eterificacion de lecho fijo (10)), conectado a columna de destilacion(12). Dichas cargas formadas por las isoolefinas (14) y los alquilalcoholes (16) ingresan al reactor (10) que incluye el lecho fijo, donde en combinacion conla columna (12) se forman el TAME y el MTHE; el procesamiento de las cargas se completa en la columna de destilacion (22), que incluye un catalizador deeterificacion adicional.
