Abstract
En la presente se describe un proceso para despolimerizar y purificar poliéster posconsumo contaminado. En el proceso, la despolimerizacion se efectua pormedio de la glicolisis en un recipiente reactor agitado. El proceso incluye los pasos de ponere n contacto un poliéster contaminado con una cantidad de glicolpara producir una razon molar de más aproximadamente 1 a aproximadamente 5 de unidades totales de glicol a unidades totales de ácido dicarboxílico a unatemperatura de entreaproximadamente 150 y aproximadamente 300sC y a una presion absoluta de aproximadamente 0,5 a aproximadamente 3 bars. Esta reaccion seejecuta durante un tiempo suficiente para producir, en el reactor, una capa superior que tiene un contaminante derelativamente baj a densidad que flota sobreuna capa inferior que incluye un oligomero despolimerizado de relativamente alta densidad del poliéster y separa dicha capa superior de dicha capa inferior.Las capas se pueden separar retirando la capasuperior del reactor e n una primera corriente y retirando dicha capa inferior del reactor en una segundacorriente.
