Abstract
Varios métodos y aparatos correspondientes reducen la potencia pico a promedio en senales transmitidas en un sistema de comunicaciones inalámbrico,particularmente con respecto a símbolos piloto transmitidos desde una estacion base a varias estacionesusuarias. Se ha encontrado que una gran amplitud picopromedio de símbolos piloto insertados resulta de una posicion de partícula (chip) comun que existe en los codigos ortogonales, tales como los codigos Walsh.En una primera implementacion los codigos Walsh son multiplicados por un valor aleatorio de +/- 1. En una segunda implementacion, la posicion de partícula(chip) de signo comun es eliminada en cada codigo Walsh. La estacion usuaria entonces inserta la posicion de partícula (chip) faltantepara recuperar laortogonalidad. En una tercera implementacion, la estacion base transmite símbolos piloto, en un canal piloto separado, solamente en las posiciones de símbolodonde las estaciones usuarias esperan encontrar símbolos piloto. En una cuarta implementacion, cada codigo Walsh es desplazado en forma aleatoria.
