Abstract

Una almohadilla de limpieza y pulido incluyendo hilos de cara fíbrilado densamente conglomerados sobre un lado y un lado de pulido opuesto, los cualespueden ser alternativamente una superficie texturada resiliente, o una esponja de celda abierta. Laalmohadilla es construida toda de materiales sintéticosusando técnicas de fabricacion de tapete convencionales. Los hilos de cara fíbrilados sintéticos son fijados a intervalos regulares con copetes en un apoyoprimario el cual puede ser un producto de polipropileno tejido, cierto tejido de algodon o lino, esponja, u otro material de lámina. Los hilos de caraincluyen hilos de por lo menos dos deniers, ajustadamente conglomerados, para proveer tanto una cara de cerda blanda como una cara de cerdadura con los hiloscooperando para producir una almohadilla de fregado no abrasiva. Opcionalmente, un substrato sintético secundario, tal como por ejemplo, un substrato de látex,aplicado al lado posterior del producto fijado a intervalos regulares concopetes provee un apoyo secundario y un medio para trabar los hilos en posicion de elapoyo primario. Ya sea el apoyo secundario o un substrato de pulido separado adherido al apoyo secundario también forma una superficie de pulido o limpieza noabrasiva. En una segunda configuracion, la superficie no abrasiva es un material símil esponja, absorbente de solucion, adhesivamente unido al lado posteriordel apoyo primario del producto fijado a intervalos regulares con copetes. El látex y/o el apoyo secundario o apoyo de látex secundario o material símilesponja, da a la almohadilla estabilidad dimensional y memoria de forma, mientras que le permite ser curvada y aplastada durante su uso.
