Abstract

Un método y una disposicion para deshacerse de sebo y aceite de cocina de desecho, y una disposicion generadora de energía eléctrica. Especialmente el sebopuede estar contaminado con la proteína prion, considerada responsable de la propagacion de lainfeccion Encefalopatía Espongiforme Bovina (BSE) en el ganado.Se incinera el sebo o aceite de cocina de desecho en un motor diesel standard de alta velocidad. Se pueden incinerar asimismo otras grasas y aceites de origenanimal/vegetal,especialmente aceites de cocina de desecho que están en peligro de ser contaminados por sustancias químicas toxicas que pueden introducirsepotencialmente en la cadena alimentaria. El calor y la fuerza producida por el motor pueden emplearseseguidamente para gene rar electricidad.
