Abstract

La presente provee un material en hojas de multiples aplicaciones que comprende una capa absorbente opuesta a primeras y segundas superficies, un sistemaseparador substancialmente no absorbente, substancialmente impermeable al fluido asociado con y extendiéndose transversalmente a través de la primerasuperficie, y una capa de barrera substancialmente impermeable al fluido que cubre continuamente la segunda superficie. El sistema separador puede comprenderuna pluralidad de elementos separadores discretos o puede comprender una red separadora continua, y se puede formar en cualquier configuracion deseada. Capas oelementos adhesivos opcionales en la superficie de la capa de barrera de frente a la superficie de soporte puede proveer estabilidadaumentada en uso. Elsistema separador se puede formar de manera unitaria con o directamente en contacto con la capa de barrera de manera que las fuerzas que se aplican al sistemaseparador se transmiten a la capa de barrera, evitando la capa absorbente.
