Abstract
Una antena electromagnética compacta y de fácil fabricacion comprende una porcion de un cable coaxial con una primera longitud eléctrica predeterminada,retirándose el conductor externo de la porcion para formar un monopoloelectromagnético , un elemento parásito que comprende un conductorn arrollado enespiral alrededor del material dieléctrico de la porcion, teniendo dicho elemento parásito una segunda longitud eléctrica predeterminada, y un plano detierraeléctrica dispuesto en una relacion de cooperacion electromagnética con la porcion y con el elemento parásito. El elemento parásito puede fijarse almaterial dieléctrico con un adhesivo, y la primera longitud eléctrica predeterminada puedeser substancialmente i gual a un cuarto de una primeralongitud de onda predeterminada, y la segunda longitud eléctrica predeterminada puede ser substancialmente igual a un medio de una segunda longitud de ondapredeterminada.En particular, la primeralongitud predeterminada puede ser de 9,4 centímetros, y la segunda longitud predeterminada puede ser de 7,9centímetros. Además el plano de tierra eléctrica puede disponerse de manera substancialmente perpendicular a la porcion y al elementoparásito, y el ángulode pa so de los arrollamientos del elemento parásito puede variarse para generar patrones espaciales seleccionados de la intensidad de campo electromagnético yde densidad de potencia. Asimismo se revelan métodos para fabricaruna antena electromagnética a partir de cable coaxial.
