Abstract

Un aparato de espolvorear polvo para recubrir dispositivos de ajuste roscados capaz de operar a una condicion optima de espolvoreado. Los tubos desuministro de aire y suministro de polvo se cominican dentro de un bloque de arrastreaire/pol vo. El diámtro de la tobera del tubo de suministro sedimensiona para proporcionar una condicion optima de espolvoreado a lo cual se provee un suministro constante de polvo a través de un tubo de espolvorear auna velocidad y densidad depolvo optimas . Estas condiciones de densidad de polvo y velocidad maximizan la velociad de deposicion de polvo sobre las roscasdel dispositivo de ajuste, y también aumentan las velocidades de produccion. Los dispositivos de ajusterecubiertos resultantes e xhiben una baja dispersionde torque, y un recubrimiento parcial altamente uniforme. Un método de operar un aparato de espolvorear a las condiciones optimas de espolvoreado tambiénforma parte de la presente invencion.
