Abstract

Filtro para combustible, en particular para combustible diesel, que comprende: una primera cámara que se comunica con la entrada de combustible;una segunda cámara, hacia abajo de la primera cámara, dentro de la cual el combustiblefiltra do entra y la cual se comunica con la salida; un medio defiltro para la filtración de las impurezas, el cual separa la segunda cámara de la primera cámara; y una tercera cámara en la cual se acumula la porción decombustible rechazado porel medio de filtro, estando el segundo filtro separado del primer filtro por una superficie de malla que está recubiertacon una substancia tal como poli-tetra-fluoro-etileno (PTFE), o siliconas, teniendo la malla poros de pasaje de undiámetro no mayor de alrededor de 200micrones para interceptar las partes de agua presentes en el combustible.
