Abstract

Un aditivo fibroso para bitumen líquido y procedimiento para su elaboración y aplicación del aditivo que comprende aditivos a base de fibras mineralesdestinados a mejorar el comportamiento del bitumen, donde el aditivo para el bitumen líquido es abase de fibras minerales cuyas fibras hayan sido, antesde su introducción en el bitumen, reunidas en nódulos, comprendiendo el aditivo un ligante estable al agua y al calor, y habiendo sido sometido a untratamiento con un agente humectador de las fibras por el bitumen. Preferentemente, el ligante estable al agua y al calor es a base de resinasfenólicas del tipo de las que son usadas habitualmente para realizar guatas de fibras aislantes, sea se trate de lana de vidrio ode lana de roca.Asimismo, ventajosamente, el agente humectador es a base de resinas de siliconas. En el procedimiento se aplican las etapas siguientes: a) recuperalas fibras de una guata de fibras minerales ligadas, del tipo destinado aaislación; b) se pulveriza sobre las fibras, una resina que actua comohumectador para el bitumen; c) se trata de las fibras en una noduladora. En realidad, la operación b) puede realizarse indistintamente, antes o despuésde la operación c). Elhecho de utilizarse guatas de fibras minerales del tipo destinado a la aislación presenta numerosas ventajas. Actually, operation b) can be carried out interchangeably, before or after operation c). The fact of using mineral fiber wadding of the type intended for insulation has many advantages. Indeed, the problems of recycling industrial products are becoming more and more worrisome, and the fact of finding a use for the insulation fiber panels destined to be recycled is very important.
