Abstract
En el conocido proceso de franjas cromáticas para impedir la grabación de senales de video, la ráfaga de sincronización cromática presente en cada líneade video activo se modifica de manera que cada grabación de cinta de video posterior de lasenal de video muestre variaciones en la fidelidad cromáticaque aparecen como bandas o franjas molestas de error cromático. Este proceso de franja cromática se mejora mediante una combinación de modificación de fase dela ráfaga de sincronización cromática en sólo parte de la ráfaga de sincronización cromática.Se obtuvieron más mejoras mediante la incorporación detécnicas de ensanchado de la envolvente de ráfaga de sincronización cromática normal hacia el flanco posterior del sincronizador horizontal y hacia elcomienzo del video activo. Estas técnicas son útiles para mejorar el comportamiento del proceso de franja cromática en los sistemas cromáticos tantoNTSC como PAL. Otras mejoras en el sistema PAL mediante las cuales las modificaciones de fase se controlan de manera de evitar las perturbacionesal denominado impulso de ID de PAL. Mejoran la capacidad de reproducción de la senal de franja cromática en el formato PAL.
