Abstract
Se revela una estructura resistente a las explosiones para una batería de litio la cual está compuesta por una caperuza superior (10), una placaresistente a las explosiones (22) y una película selladora (24). La caperuza superior se compone de una porción plana circular (12) y de una porciónsaliente (14) que se proyecta desde la porción central de la porción plana y posee una pluralidad de hojas de corte (18) que se proveen en la pared (16) dela porción saliente a través de cortes enV en la caperuza superior y de pliegues hacia el interior de las porciones recortadas. La placa resistente alas explosiones es ubicada en posición adyacente a las hojas de corte aunque no está en contacto con ellas y posee sus bordes periféricos fijos a losefectos de expandirse en dirección ascendente ante un incremento en la presión interna de la batería. La película selladora recubre la superificie interna dela placa resistente a las explosiones y mantiene la hermeticidad de la batería por fusión.
