Abstract
Una aparato acondicionador del aire, que sirve tanto para calefaccionar como para referigerar un espacio cerrado. El aparato utiliza un sistema derefrigeración basado en la compresión de vapor, en el cual el flujo del refrigerante a través de los intercambiadores de calor interior y exterior, esel mismo en ambos modos, el de refrigeración y el de calefacción. La alineación de una disposición de reguladores de tiro, determina si el airetomado del espacio pasa a través de lasección del evaporador del aparato (durante la operación en el modo de refrigeración) o a través de la seccióndel condensador (durante la operación en el modo de calentamiento). La misma disposición de los reguladores de tiro, reconfigura el flujo del aire exteriordesde la sección del condensador hacia la sección del evaporador, al producirse un paso del modo de refrigeración al modo de la operación de calefacción. Elaparato está enteramente contenido dentro un cerramiento o gabinete único, destinado a ser instalado en una de las paredes exteriores de la estructura ala que sirve. En el cerramiento, la sección del evaporador está situada por arriba de la sección del condensador, por lo que el área ocupada por elaparato, esminimizada, y también de manera tal que el agua que se condensa en el evaporador pueda drenarse por gravedad hacia el condensador, donde puedere-evaporarse y ser evacuado del cerramiento por el aire que pasa a través del condensador. El aparato tiene modos de operación que aceleran la remoción de laescarcha que puede formarse en el evaporador durante la operación del modo de calefacción y que suministra el aire tomado del exterior y evacúa el aireinterior, del espacio cerrado. El compresory los soplantes del aparato, pueden ser del tipo que puede operar a más de una velocidad.
