DURING RECORDING OF THE VIDEOTEXT SIGNAL, AN FM MODULATOR (7) FOR THE LUMINANCE SIGNAL AND AN ADDING CIRCUIT (5) MAY BE SWITCHED OFF. DURING REPRODUCTION, A CIRCUIT FOR THE CORRECTION OF TIMEBASE ERRORS MAY BE CONNECTED INTO THE PATH OF THE VIDEO TEXT SIGNAL. (FIG. 1)
