Abstract

1,195,598. Colour television. SONY CORP. 9 Jan., 1968 [14 Jan., 1967; 22 March, 1967], No. 1212/68. Heading H4F. [Also in Division H1] In a colour television system using a threegun tube the usual deflecting system for bring- ing the beams into coincidence on the screen (see Division H1) is dispensed with, so that the beams B1, B2, B3, Fig. 7, strike the screen at widely differing points. To achieve correspondence of the three colour fields, suitable time differences are imparted to the video signals modulating the three beams.
