The description is identical with that appearing in Specification 753,441 with reference to Figs. 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8, but the claims relate to the feature of deriving from the cathode-ray tube screen a separate indexing signal for each colour and for combining the signals to produce a single signal representative of the algebraic sum of the individual phase variations. Specification 639,980 also is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 753,441, 753,443 and 809,334.
