Abstract

1,006,045. Boxes; container closures. H. BERNHARDT. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 29, 1963], No. 31233/64. Headings B8P and B8T. A lid 20 for a circular container 10, has an inwardly convex skirt 21 engaging outward convex parts 17, 18 of the container wall to form a double seal. The lower seal is broken by squeezing the skirt at opposite points and the lid can then be easily removed, since the outside diameter of the part 18 is smaller than that of part 17.
