Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a method for controlling an incentive video play at a network device according to an embodiment of the present application, the method comprising steps S11, S12, S13 and S14. In step S11, the network device receives the play request information sent by the user device for playing the target motivational video in the reading application; in step S12, the network device, in response to the play request information, detects whether a historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video exists on the user equipment, and determines incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video according to a detection result, where the incentive policy information includes an incentive play duration and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video; in step S13, the network device returns the incentive policy information and the video stream information of the target incentive video to the user device as response information of the play request information; in step S14, the network device receives the actual playing duration of the target incentive video sent by the user device, determines actual incentive information corresponding to the playing process in the reading application based on the incentive policy information, and sends the actual incentive information to the user device.
In step S11, the network device receives the play request information sent by the user device to play the target incentive video in the reading application. In some embodiments, the incentive video is a video containing promotion content, and is a conventional promotion and presentation mode in reading applications, and only after the user completely or partially views the incentive video, the corresponding incentive can be obtained. In some embodiments, the incentive may be a reading coin reward (e.g., reward 100 reading coins), a reading chapter reward (e.g., reward for continuing to read the next chapter), or any other form of reward in the reading application. In some embodiments, the target incentive video may be determined locally by the reading application, and in this case, the received play request information further includes identification information (for example, an incentive video name or an incentive video ID) of the target incentive video determined locally by the reading application. For example, when a user clicks a "view incentive video VideoA" button in a reading application, the user device sends, in response to the click operation, play request information for playing the target incentive video to the network device, where the play request information also includes identification information ("VideoA") of the target incentive video. In some embodiments, the target incentive video may also be determined by the network device. For example, the user clicks a "read next" button in the reading application, and the user device sends, in response to the clicking operation, play request information for playing the target-excited video to the network device.
In step S12, the network device, in response to the play request information, detects whether a historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video exists on the user equipment, and determines incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video according to a detection result, where the incentive policy information includes an incentive play duration and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video. In some embodiments, the detection result is used for indicating whether a historical play record corresponding to the target excitation video exists on the user equipment; if the detection result indicates that no historical playing record corresponding to the target excitation video exists, determining the longest playing time corresponding to the target excitation video as the excitation playing time corresponding to the target excitation video; if the detection result indicates that the historical play record corresponding to the target excitation video exists, the excitation play time corresponding to the target excitation video can be dynamically determined, and the determined excitation play time is smaller than the longest play time corresponding to the target excitation video. In some embodiments, the incentive policy information includes any information related to an incentive policy corresponding to the target playing video, optionally, the incentive policy information is used to describe from which time point at least how long the incentive video played can obtain what incentive, including but not limited to the duration of the incentive play, the starting play time, and the corresponding incentive information, for example, the incentive policy information may be "from the beginning of playing at least 30 seconds of incentive video can obtain a reward of 100 reading coins". In some embodiments, if the target incentive video has been played on the user equipment, incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video may be determined. In some embodiments, the incentive play duration is used to indicate the shortest play duration required for obtaining the incentive, that is, when the actual play duration of the target incentive video reaches the incentive play duration, the user can only pick up the incentive, otherwise, the user cannot pick up the incentive, for example, the longest play duration of the target incentive video is 40s, and if it is determined that the incentive play duration of the target incentive video is 30s, the user can pick up the incentive when the actual play duration is greater than or equal to 30 s. In some embodiments, the incentive information is used to indicate an incentive corresponding to the target incentive video, that is, an incentive that is allowed to be received by the user after the actual playing time of the target incentive video reaches the incentive playing time. In some embodiments, in response to the play request information, it is detected whether a history play record corresponding to the target incentive video exists on the user equipment, and if so, it may be further determined whether the number of times the target incentive video has been played or the frequency of the target incentive video has been played on the user equipment is greater than or equal to a predetermined play number threshold or play frequency threshold according to the history play record, and if so, incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video is determined. In some embodiments, if the target incentive video has not been played on the user device, the incentive video must be played completely to obtain the corresponding incentive. In some embodiments, when the user does not watch the target incentive video for the first time, the playing time of the target incentive video can be dynamically shortened, so that a good popularization effect can be obtained while the user experience is not influenced.
In step S13, the network device returns the incentive policy information and the video stream information of the target incentive video to the user device as response information of the play request information. In some embodiments, the video stream information of the target incentive video may be an online playing address of the target incentive video, and may also be a file stream corresponding to the target incentive video file.
In step S14, the network device receives the actual playing duration of the target incentive video sent by the user device, determines actual incentive information corresponding to the playing process in the reading application based on the incentive policy information, and sends the actual incentive information to the user device. In some embodiments, if the target-inspired video is played from the beginning, the actual playing time is equal to the current playing time, and if the target-inspired video is played from the predetermined starting playing time, the actual playing time is equal to the current playing time minus the predetermined starting playing time. In some embodiments, the actual incentive information is used to indicate an incentive that the user can actually obtain, the server determines an incentive that the user can actually obtain in the reading application according to an actual playing time length of a target incentive video sent by the user equipment and based on the incentive policy information, if the actual playing time length is greater than or equal to an incentive playing time length in the incentive policy information, the user can obtain the incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information, and if the actual playing time length is less than the incentive playing time length in the incentive policy information, the user cannot obtain the incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information and sends the actual incentive information to the user equipment. In some embodiments, when the actual playing time length reaches the incentive playing time length in the incentive policy information, the user equipment may present a skip button on the incentive video playing page, and the user may directly skip the target incentive video by clicking the skip button and directly obtain the incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information.
In some embodiments, the step S12 includes a step S121 (not shown), a step S122 (not shown), and a step S123 (not shown). In step S121, the network device detects whether a historical play record corresponding to the target excitation video exists on the user equipment in response to the play request information; in step S122, if the excitation policy information exists, the network device determines excitation policy information corresponding to the target excitation video, where the excitation policy information includes excitation play time and excitation information corresponding to the target excitation video, and the excitation play time is less than the longest play time of the target excitation video; in step S123, if not, the network device determines incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video, where the incentive policy information includes an incentive playing duration and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video, and the incentive playing duration is the longest playing duration of the target incentive video. In some embodiments, if the detection result indicates that a history play record corresponding to the target excitation video exists on the user equipment, which indicates that the target excitation video has been played on the user equipment, the incentive policy information corresponding to the target excitation video may be dynamically determined, where an incentive play duration in the incentive policy information is shorter than a longest play duration of the target excitation video, that is, if the target excitation video has been played on the user equipment, the incentive play duration is shorter than the longest play duration of the target excitation video, so that the user does not need to completely watch the target excitation video but only needs to watch a part of content of the target excitation video to obtain an incentive; in some embodiments, the more times the target incentive video has been played on the user equipment, or the higher the playing frequency, the shorter the incentive playing time of the target incentive video determined in real time. In some embodiments, if the detection result indicates that there is no history play record corresponding to the target excitation video on the user equipment, which indicates that the target excitation video has not been played on the user equipment, the longest play duration corresponding to the target excitation video may be determined as the excitation play duration, that is, the user must completely watch all the content of the target excitation video to obtain the excitation.
In some embodiments, the incentive policy information further includes a start playing time corresponding to the target incentive video; wherein the step S122 further includes: if the target excitation video exists, the network equipment determines the starting playing time corresponding to the target excitation video. In some embodiments, incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video may be determined according to a starting playing time (e.g., 1 minute) corresponding to the target incentive video (e.g., starting playing the incentive video from 1 minute, and obtaining a reward of 100 reading coins after the playing is completed).
In some embodiments, the determining a starting playing time corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and determining the starting playing time corresponding to the target excitation video according to the video characteristic information corresponding to the target excitation video. In some embodiments, the video feature information includes, but is not limited to, a video name of the target incentive video, a video type, an associated promoter or associated promotional content, and the like. For example, the starting playing time corresponding to the target incentive video may be determined according to the promotion content associated with the target incentive video, if the associated promotion content is a certain hand tour, the starting time of the combat section in the target incentive video may be used as the starting playing time corresponding to the target incentive video, and if the associated promotion content is a certain entity commodity, the starting time of the commodity function introduction section in the target incentive video may be used as the starting playing time corresponding to the target incentive video.
In some embodiments, the determining, according to the video feature information corresponding to the target excitation video, the start playing time corresponding to the target excitation video includes: determining at least one key content segment corresponding to the target incentive video according to the video characteristic information corresponding to the target incentive video, and determining the starting playing time corresponding to the target incentive video according to the at least one key content segment. In some embodiments, at least one key content segment (e.g., a battle segment) corresponding to the target incentive video may be determined according to video feature information (e.g., the associated promotional content is a certain hand game), if there is only one key content segment, the start point of the key content segment is directly used as the start playing time corresponding to the target incentive video, and if there are multiple key content segments, the start point of one of the key content segments (e.g., the most forward key content segment) may be used as the start playing time corresponding to the target incentive video.
In some embodiments, the determining a starting playing time corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and determining the starting playing time corresponding to the target excitation video according to the historical playing record. In some embodiments, if the history play record corresponding to the target excitation video is only once, the end time point corresponding to the history play record may be directly changed to be the starting play time of the playing of the target excitation video, and if the history play record corresponding to the target excitation video exists for multiple times, the end time point corresponding to the latest history play record may be used as the starting play time of the playing of the target excitation video, or the rearmost end time point of the end time points corresponding to the multiple times of history play records may be used as the starting play time of the playing of the target excitation video.
In some embodiments, the determining, according to the historical play record, a start play time corresponding to the target incentive video includes: determining a corresponding end time point when the user watches the target excitation video last time according to the historical playing record corresponding to the target excitation video; and determining the starting playing time corresponding to the target excitation video according to the ending time point. In some embodiments, according to the historical playing record corresponding to the target excitation video, an end time point (e.g., 40 seconds) corresponding to the last time the user viewed the target excitation video may be used as the starting playing time for playing the target excitation video this time.
In some embodiments, the step S122 includes: if the target excitation video exists, the network equipment determines the excitation playing time length corresponding to the target excitation video, and determines the excitation strategy information corresponding to the target excitation video according to the excitation playing time length. In some embodiments, if the target incentive video has been played on the user equipment, incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video is determined according to an incentive playing time (e.g., 1 minute) corresponding to the target incentive video (e.g., a reward of 100 reading coins can be obtained when the incentive video is played for at least 1 minute).
In some embodiments, the determining an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and determining the incentive playing time length corresponding to the target incentive video according to the historical playing record corresponding to the target incentive video. In some embodiments, if the historical playing times corresponding to the target excitation video are more, the excitation playing time length for playing the target excitation video at this time is shorter, and if the historical playing times corresponding to the target excitation video are less, the excitation playing time length for playing the target excitation video at this time is longer.
In some embodiments, the determining, according to the historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video, an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and obtaining a frequency range in which the frequency of watching the target excitation video by the user history falls, and determining the excitation duration corresponding to the frequency range as the excitation playing duration corresponding to the target excitation video. In some embodiments, the later range of times corresponds to shorter actuation playback times, e.g., the earlier range of times is 1-5 and the later range of times is 6-10. In some embodiments, if the number of times that the user historically watches the target excitation video falls into the frequency range, the longer the excitation playing time of the target excitation video played this time, and the shorter the frequency range, the shorter the excitation playing time of the target excitation video played this time. For example, the incentive play time length corresponding to the frequency range 1-5 is 50 seconds, the incentive play time length corresponding to the frequency range 6-10 is 40 seconds, and if the frequency of the user historically watching the target incentive video is 3 times, since the frequency falls into the frequency range 1-5, one time you take the incentive play time length 50 seconds corresponding to the frequency range 1-5 as the incentive play time length of the target incentive video played this time.
In some embodiments, the determining, according to the historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video, an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and determining the incentive playing time length corresponding to the target incentive video according to the skipping times of skipping and watching the target incentive video by the user history. In some embodiments, when the actual playing time length reaches the incentive playing time length in the incentive policy information, a skip button is presented on the incentive video playing page, and a user clicks the skip button to directly skip the incentive video and directly obtain the incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information. In some embodiments, the more the skipping times of the user for skipping and watching the target excitation video historically, the shorter the excitation play time length of the target excitation video played this time is, and the less the skipping times of the user for skipping and watching the target excitation video historically, the longer the excitation play time length of the target excitation video played this time is.
In some embodiments, the determining, according to the historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video, an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and determining the excitation playing time length corresponding to the target excitation video according to the exit times of the user for exiting from watching the target excitation video. In some embodiments, when the actual playing time length has not reached the incentive playing time length in the policy information, the user may directly quit watching the target incentive video and abandon the incentive corresponding to the target incentive video. In some embodiments, the more the exit times of the user that historically exits from watching the target excitation video, the shorter the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time, and the less the exit times of the user that historically exits from watching the target excitation video, the longer the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time.
In some embodiments, the determining an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: determining incentive playing time corresponding to the target incentive video according to the user use condition information of the promotion content associated with the target incentive video; wherein the user usage information includes but is not limited to: whether the user downloads or installs the promotion content corresponding to the target incentive video; the user history uses the frequency information of the promotion content; the user uses the time length information of the promotion content historically; frequency information of the user history using the promotion content; and the user uses the time information of the promotion content recently. In some embodiments, if the user has downloaded or installed the promotion content corresponding to the target incentive video (for example, the promotion content is a certain hand game), the incentive playing time length for playing the target incentive video at this time is shorter. In some embodiments, if the number of times the user uses the promotion content historically is greater, the incentive playing time length of the target incentive video played this time is shorter, and if the number of times the user uses the promotion content historically is smaller, the incentive playing time length of the target incentive video played this time is longer. In some embodiments, the longer the duration of using the promotion content by the user history, the shorter the duration of excitement playing of the target excitement video played this time, and the shorter the duration of using the promotion content by the user history, the longer the excitement playing of the target excitement video played this time. In some embodiments, the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time is shorter the higher the frequency of using the promotion content by the user history, and the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time is longer the lower the frequency of using the promotion content by the user history. In some embodiments, the shorter the time interval between the time when the user used the promotion content most recently (e.g., last time) and the current time is, the shorter the incentive play duration of the target incentive video played this time is, and if the time interval is longer, the longer the incentive play duration of the target incentive video played this time is.
In some embodiments, the determining an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: determining an incentive playing time corresponding to the target incentive video according to the user attribute information corresponding to the user; wherein the user attribute information includes but is not limited to: type information corresponding to the user; grade information corresponding to the user; and interest tag information corresponding to the user. In some embodiments, if the user type is a paid user or a VIP user, the more the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time is short, and if the user type is a free user or a general user, the more the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time is long. In some embodiments, if the user Level (e.g., member Level3) is greater than or equal to a predetermined Level threshold (e.g., member Level2), the excitement playing time length of the target excitement video played this time is shorter, otherwise, if the user Level is less than the predetermined Level threshold, the excitement playing time length of the target excitement video played this time is longer. In some embodiments, if the interest tag (e.g., "like sports") of the user matches with the promotion content (e.g., "sports shoes") corresponding to the target incentive video, the incentive playing time length of the target incentive video played this time is shorter, otherwise, if not, the incentive playing time length of the target incentive video played this time is longer.
In some embodiments, the determining an incentive play duration corresponding to the target incentive video includes: and determining the incentive playing time length corresponding to the target incentive video according to the current reading speed of the user. In some embodiments, the current reading speed of the user may be determined by the reading page turning speed of the user, if the reading page turning speed of the user is faster, the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time is shorter, otherwise, if the reading page turning speed of the user is slower, the excitation playing time length of the target excitation video played this time is longer.
Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of a method for controlling an incentive video play at a user equipment side according to an embodiment of the present application, the method comprising step S21, step S22, step S23 and step S24. In step S21, the user equipment sends, to the network device, play request information for playing the target incentive video in the reading application; in step S22, the user equipment receives incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video and video stream information of the target incentive video, where the incentive policy information includes incentive play duration and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video; in step S23, the user equipment plays the target incentive video in the reading application and sends the actual playing duration of the target incentive video to the network device; in step S24, the user device receives the actual incentive information sent by the network device and determined based on the incentive policy information, where the actual incentive information corresponds to the playing process in the reading application.
In step S21, the user device sends play request information for playing the target incentive video in the reading application to the network device. In some embodiments, the user device transmits, to the network device, play request information for playing the target-incentive video in response to a predetermined operation performed by the user in the reading application. In some embodiments, the target incentive video may be determined locally by the reading application, and in this case, the play request message sent to the server may further include identification information (for example, an incentive video name or an incentive video ID) of the target incentive video determined locally by the reading application. For example, when a user clicks a "view incentive video VideoA" button in a reading application, the user equipment sends, in response to the click operation, play request information for playing a target incentive video to a server corresponding to the reading application, where the play request information also includes identification information ("VideoA") of the target incentive video. In some embodiments, the target incentive video may also be determined by the network device. For example, the user clicks a "read next page" button in the reading application, and the user device sends, in response to the clicking operation, the play request information for playing the target-excited video to the server corresponding to the reading application.
In step S22, the user equipment receives incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video and video stream information of the target incentive video returned by the network equipment, where the incentive policy information includes an incentive play time and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video. In some embodiments, the incentive policy information is used to describe what incentive video played at least for a long time from which point in time may receive an incentive, including but not limited to an incentive play duration, a start play time, and corresponding incentive information, for example, the incentive policy information may be "an incentive video played at least for 30 seconds from the beginning may receive a reward of 100 reading coins". In some embodiments, the video stream information of the target incentive video may be an online playing address of the target incentive video, and may also be a file stream corresponding to the target incentive video file.
In step S23, the user equipment plays the target incentive video in the reading application and sends the actual playing duration of the target incentive video to the network device. In some embodiments, if the incentive policy information does not include a start playing time, the target incentive video is played directly from the beginning, and if the incentive policy information includes a start playing time, the target incentive video is played from the specified start playing time.
In step S24, the user device receives the actual incentive information sent by the network device and determined based on the incentive policy information, where the actual incentive information corresponds to the playing process in the reading application. In some embodiments, the network device determines, according to an actual playing duration of a target incentive video sent by the user device, an incentive that can be actually obtained by a user in the reading application based on the incentive policy information, if the actual playing duration is greater than or equal to an incentive playing duration in the incentive policy information, the user can obtain an incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information, and if the actual playing duration is less than the incentive playing duration in the incentive policy information, the user cannot obtain the incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information, and sends the actual incentive information to the user device. In some embodiments, when the actual playing time length reaches the incentive playing time length in the incentive policy information, a skip button is presented on the incentive video playing page, and when the user clicks the skip button, the target incentive video can be directly skipped, and the incentive indicated by the incentive information in the incentive policy information is directly obtained.
In some embodiments, the incentive policy information further includes a start play time corresponding to the target incentive video.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises: the user equipment determines incentive prompt information and/or countdown information corresponding to the target incentive video according to the incentive strategy information; and presenting the incentive prompt information and/or the countdown information on a playing page of the target incentive video. In some embodiments, the incentive prompt information is used to prompt the user how long the target incentive video is played before obtaining the corresponding incentive, the countdown information is used to prompt the user of a time interval between the current playing time and the incentive playing time, when the target incentive video starts to be played, countdown is started, when the countdown is 0, a skip button is presented on the target incentive video playing page, and the user clicks the skip button, can directly skip the target incentive video, and directly obtain the corresponding incentive. Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of a playing page of a target stimulus video according to an example of the present application, in which a countdown message "30" (i.e., 30 seconds) is presented at the top of the playing page, a stimulus prompt message "view next chapter readable for at least 30 seconds", and a close button "x" is presented, and if the user clicks the close button before the countdown is completed, the user cannot obtain the stimulus. Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of a play page of a target incentive video of another example of the present application, in which the countdown is completed, and the top of the play page is presented with a "skip" button and a close button, and the user can finish playing the target incentive video and obtain a reward by clicking the "skip" button or the close button.

As shown in fig. 5, a user clicks an incentive video watching button, a video starts to be played, whether the user watches a certain incentive video for the first time is judged, if the user watches a certain incentive video for the first time, the user can obtain a reward only after watching the certain incentive video completely, then whether the user watches the certain incentive video completely is judged, if the user watches the certain incentive video completely, the reward is issued, otherwise, the reward is not issued; if the user does not watch a certain incentive video for the first time, the user can obtain the incentive corresponding to the incentive video after watching the incentive video for at least N seconds (for example, N is 15), then whether the user watches the incentive video for N seconds is judged, if the user watches the incentive video for N seconds, the incentive is issued, and if the user does not watch the incentive video for N seconds, the incentive is not issued.
Fig. 6 shows a block diagram of a network device for controlling motivational video playback according to one embodiment of the present application, which includes a one-module 11, a two-module 12, a three-module 13, and a four-module 14. A one-to-one module 11, configured to receive play request information that is sent by a user equipment and used for playing a target excitation video in a reading application; a second module 12, configured to respond to the play request information, detect whether a historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video exists on the user equipment, and determine incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video according to a detection result, where the incentive policy information includes incentive play duration and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video; a third module 13, configured to return the incentive policy information and the video stream information of the target incentive video to the user equipment as response information of the play request information; a fourth module 14, configured to receive an actual playing duration of the target incentive video sent by the user equipment, determine, based on the incentive policy information, actual incentive information corresponding to the playing process in the reading application, and send the actual incentive information to the user equipment.
A module 11, configured to receive play request information sent by the user equipment and used for playing the target excitation video in the reading application.
A second module 12, configured to respond to the play request information, detect whether a historical play record corresponding to the target incentive video exists on the user equipment, and determine incentive policy information corresponding to the target incentive video according to a detection result, where the incentive policy information includes incentive play duration and incentive information corresponding to the target incentive video.

In some embodiments, the video stream information of the target incentive video may be an online playing address of the target incentive video, and may also be a file stream corresponding to the target incentive video file.
A fourth module 14, configured to receive an actual playing duration of the target incentive video sent by the user equipment, determine, based on the incentive policy information, actual incentive information corresponding to the playing process in the reading application, and send the actual incentive information to the user equipment.
