The process involves introducing air and water fuel into the engine's fuel supply system. The fuel contains water of about 20% to about 80% by volume of the total fuel volume, and carbon fuel of ethanol, methanol, gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, gaseous or liquid fuel containing carbon, or mixtures thereof, and the introduction and combustion and air-fuel mixtures in the combustion chamber, or chambers, in the presence of a single hydrogen-producing catalyst to start the engine.
