Abstract

提供されるのは、水素タンクを搭載することが可能な作業機械(1)である。作業機械(1)は、下部走行体(10)と、旋回可能に下部走行体(10)に搭載される上部旋回体(20)と、上部旋回体(20)に対する相対的な動作である作業動作を行うことが可能な作業装置(30)と、水素を燃料として用いることにより動力を生成する動力源(41)と、動力源(41)に水素を供給する水素供給系(HS)と、を備える。動力源(41)は上部旋回体(20)に搭載される。水素供給系(HS)は水素を貯蔵する水素タンク(50)を含み、水素タンク(50)は作業装置(30)に搭載される。

Description

作業機械
 本発明は、作業機械に関する。
 特許文献1は、カウンタウエイトを含む上部旋回体と、燃料電池を含むエネルギー貯蔵システムと、を備えた作業機械を開示し、前記エネルギー貯蔵システムの少なくとも一部は前記カウンタウエイトの一部として設置される。
 前記燃料電池が水素燃料電池である場合、エネルギー源は水素であり、よって作業機械は水素を貯蔵する水素タンクを搭載する必要がある。

 本発明は、水素タンクが搭載されることが可能な作業機械を提供することを目的とする。
 提供されるのは作業機械であり、前記作業機械は、下部走行体と、前記下部走行体に対して旋回可能となるように前記下部走行体に搭載される上部旋回体と、前記上部旋回体に連結され、前記上部旋回体に対する相対的な動作である作業動作を行うことが可能な作業装置と、前記上部旋回体に搭載され、水素を燃料として用いることにより動力を生成する動力源と、前記動力源に水素を供給する水素供給系と、を備える。前記水素供給系は水素を貯蔵する水素タンクを含み、前記水素タンクが前記作業装置に搭載される。

 以下、本発明を実施するための形態について図面を参照しながら説明する。
 図1~図3は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る作業機械1を示す。図1~図3に例示される前記作業機械1はクローラー型のショベルである。しかし、本発明に係る作業機械はショベルに限定されない。ショベル以外の作業機械の例は、解体機、荷役機械及び農業機械を含む。
 前記作業機械1は、下部走行体10と、上部旋回体20と、作業装置30と、図4に示される駆動系40と、水素供給系HSと、を備える。前記下部走行体10及び前記上部旋回体20は前記作業機械の機体を構成する。
 前記下部走行体10は、地面上を走行することが可能である。図3に例示される前記下部走行体10は、前記上部旋回体20を支持する走行フレーム11と、一対の走行装置12と、を含む。
 図2に示されるように、前記走行フレーム11は、中央フレーム11Aと、一対のクローラーフレーム11Bと、を含む。前記中央フレーム11Aに前記上部旋回体20が連結される。前記一対のクローラーフレーム11Bは、下部走行体幅方向において前記中央フレーム11Aの両側に配置される。前記下部走行体幅方向は、下部走行体前後方向に直交する方向であり、前記下部走行体前後方向は、前記下部走行体10が走行する方向である走行方向と平行な方向である。前記一対のクローラーフレーム11Bは、前記下部走行体幅方向における前記中央フレーム11Aの両端部、すなわち左右両端部、とそれぞれ一体につながっている。
 前記一対の走行装置12は、前記下部走行体10が地面上を走行することを可能にするように動作する。図1~図3に例示される前記一対の走行装置12は、所謂クローラータイプであり、前記一対のクローラーフレーム11Bによってそれぞれ支持される。前記一対の走行装置12のそれぞれは、フロントアイドラと、スプロケットと、アッパーローラと、ロアローラと、クローラーと、を含む。前記フロントアイドラは、前記下部走行体前後方向において前記クローラーフレーム11Bの前側に位置する。前記スプロケットは、前記下部走行体前後方向において前記クローラーフレーム11Bの後側に位置する。前記アッパーローラは、前記クローラーフレーム11Bの上側でかつ前記下部走行体前後方向において前記フロントアイドラと前記スプロケットとの間に位置する。前記ロアローラは、前記クローラーフレーム11Bの下側でかつ前記下部走行体前後方向において前記フロントアイドラと前記スプロケットとの間に位置する。前記クローラーは、前記フロントアイドラ、前記スプロケット、前記アッパーローラ及び前記ロワローラの周囲に掛け渡される。
 前記上部旋回体20は、図1~図3に示すように、旋回フレーム24と、運転室21と、機械室22と、を含む。前記旋回フレーム24は、前記下部走行体10の上に配置され、前記下部走行体10に対して縦方向の軸、すなわち図4に示される旋回中心軸、の回りに旋回可能となるように、前記下部走行体10、詳しくは前記中央フレーム11A、に連結される。前記運転室21は、上部旋回体前後方向において前記旋回フレーム24の前部上に搭載される。前記運転室21は、図示されない運転席及び操作部を含み、前記運転席に着座したオペレータが前記操作部に前記作業機械1を動かすための操作を与えることが可能である。前記上部旋回体前後方向は、前記運転席に着座したオペレータから視た前後方向である。前記機械室22は、前記旋回フレーム24の後部上に搭載され、前記駆動系40の一部を収容する。
 前記作業装置30は、作業動作を行うことが可能となるように前記上部旋回体20に連結される。前記作業動作は、前記上部旋回体20に対する相対的な動作であって作業を行うための動作である。
 前記作業装置30は、ブーム31と、アーム32と、先端アタッチメント33と、を含む。
 前記ブーム31は、前記旋回フレーム24上で前記運転室21と上部旋回体幅方向に並ぶように配置される。前記上部旋回体幅方向は前記上部旋回体前後方向及び前記旋回中心軸のそれぞれと直交する方向である。前記ブーム31は、ブーム基端部とブーム先端部とを有する。前記ブーム基端部は、前記ブーム31が起伏動作を行うことが可能となるように、前記上部旋回体20に回動可能に連結される。前記ブーム先端部は、前記ブーム基端部と反対側の端部である。前記起伏動作は、前記ブーム先端部が上下するように前記ブーム31が前記上部旋回体20に対して相対的に回動する動作である。
 前記アーム32は、アーム基端部とその反対側のアーム先端部とを有する。前記アーム基端部は、前記アーム32が前記ブーム31に対して上下方向に回動することが可能となるように前記ブーム先端部に連結される。
 前記先端アタッチメント33は、前記作業装置30の先端部を構成する。前記先端アタッチメント33は、前記アーム32に対して上下方向に回動可能となるように前記アーム先端部に連結される。図1に例示される前記先端アタッチメント33は、バケットである。前記作業動作は、前記ブーム31の前記起伏動作、前記アーム32の前記回動、及び前記先端アタッチメント33の回動の少なくとも一つによって構成される。
 前記作業装置30には、前記ブーム31、前記アーム32及び前記先端アタッチメント33をそれぞれ動かすための作業アクチュエータ群44Bが取付けられる。前記作業アクチュエータ群44Bは、前記駆動系40に含まれる。前記作業アクチュエータ群44Bは、図1に示されるように、ブームシリンダー46、アームシリンダー47及び先端アタッチメントシリンダー48を含み、それぞれは伸縮可能な油圧シリンダーである。前記ブームシリンダー46は、前記ブーム31に前記上部旋回体20に対する前記起伏動作を行わせるように伸縮する。前記アームシリンダー47は、前記アーム32に前記ブーム31に対する回動動作を行わせるように伸縮する。前記先端アタッチメントシリンダー48は、前記先端アタッチメント33に前記アーム32に対する回動動作を行わせるように伸縮する。
 前記駆動系40は、前記作業機械1の複数の可動部位をそれぞれ油圧により動かす系である。図4に示すように、前記駆動系40は、動力源41と、作動ポンプ42と、コントロールバルブユニット43と、複数のアクチュエータからなるアクチュエータ群44と、作動油タンク45と、を含み、前記動力源41、前記作動ポンプ42、前記コントロールバルブユニット43及び前記作動油タンク45は前記機械室22内に収容される。
 前記動力源41は、前記作動ポンプ42を駆動するための動力を発生させる。前記第1実施形態に係る前記動力源41は、水素を燃料として用いることにより電力を生成し、その生成された電力により前記作動ポンプ42を駆動するように、構成される。図3に示されるように、前記動力源41は水素燃料電池41Aと電動モータ41Bとを含む。前記水素燃料電池41Aは、前記水素供給系HSによって供給される燃料としての水素を空気中の酸素と反応させ、これにより電力を生成する。前記電動モータ41Bは、前記水素燃料電池41Aにより生成された電力により駆動され、これにより前記作動ポンプ42を駆動する。具体的に、前記電動モータ41Bは、前記電力によって回転させられる出力軸を有し、前記出力軸が前記作動ポンプ42の回転軸に接続されている。従って、前記電動モータ41Bの駆動、すなわち前記出力軸の回転駆動、によって前記作動ポンプ42が駆動される。
 前記電動モータ41Bの好ましい例は、インバータを含む三相モータである。前記インバータは、前記出力軸の回転を制御するための電流制御を行う。具体的に、前記インバータは、前記水素燃料電池41Aから供給される直流電流を三相交流電流に変換し、前記三相交流電流によって前記電動モータ41Bの出力軸が回転させられる。
 前記動力源41は、二次電池(いわゆる、バッテリ)をさらに含んでもよい。
 前記動力源41の具体的な構成は、様々に変形可能である。例えば、前記動力源41は、前記水素燃料電池41A及び前記電動モータ41Bに代えて水素エンジンを含んでもよく、前記水素エンジンは、水素を燃焼させて直接的に動力を生成する内燃機関である。
 前記作動ポンプ42は、油圧ポンプであり、前記動力源41により駆動されることにより、前記作動油タンク45内の作動油を前記コントロールバルブユニット43を通じて前記アクチュエータ群44における前記複数のアクチュエータに供給する。
 前記コントロールバルブユニット43は、複数のコントロールバルブを含み、前記複数のコントロールバルブは前記アクチュエータ群44に含まれる前記複数のアクチュエータにそれぞれ対応する。前記コントロールバルブのそれぞれは、前記運転室21内でオペレータにより前記操作部に与えられた操作に従って前記アクチュエータへの作動油の供給及び前記アクチュエータからの作動油の戻りを制御するように開閉動作をする。
 前記アクチュエータ群44における前記複数のアクチュエータは、前記コントロールバルブによって制御される作動油の供給により前記作業機械1の複数の可動部位をそれぞれ動かすように動作する。具体的に、前記複数のアクチュエータは、旋回モータ44Aと、前記作業アクチュエータ群44Bと、一対の走行モータ44Cと、を含む。
 前記旋回モータ44Aは、前記下部走行体10に対して前記上部旋回体20を旋回させるための油圧モータである。前記作業アクチュエータ群44Bは、上述のように、前記ブームシリンダー46、前記アームシリンダー47及び前記先端アタッチメントシリンダー48を含む。前記一対の走行モータ44Cは、前記一対の走行装置12を駆動するための油圧モータであり、前記スプロケットに連結されて当該スプロケットを回転駆動する。
 前記水素供給系HSは、前記動力源41に燃料である水素を供給する。具体的に、前記水素供給系HSは、水素タンク50と、水素受入れ部51と、減圧弁52と、タンクカバー54と、充填口カバー56と、水素充填ライン60と、高圧供給ライン62と、低圧供給ライン64と、を含む。
 前記水素タンク50は、前記動力源41に供給されるための水素を貯蔵する。前記水素タンク50は、例えば円筒状をなす。
 前記作業機械1の特徴として、前記水素タンク50は前記作業装置30に搭載される。具体的に、前記第1実施形態では、図1に示すように、前記ブーム31の外側面に前記水素タンク50が固定される。前記外側面は、前記ブーム31において前記上部旋回体幅方向を向く両側面のうち前記運転室21と反対の側(図1では手前側)を向く面である。
 前記水素タンク50は、前記ブーム31の前記外側面の側方に位置するように配置されている。前記水素タンク50は、例えば、前記ブーム31の前記外側面から前記上部旋回体幅方向における外側(前記運転室21と反対の側)に張り出した治具を介して前記外側面に取り付けられている。
 前記ブーム31の前記外側面は、前記運転室21の反対側に位置するため、当該外側面に固定される前記水素タンク50は前記運転室21に搭乗しているオペレータの視界には入らない。このことは、前記水素タンク50が前記作業機械1を操作する前記オペレータの邪魔になることを防ぐ。特に、図1に示される前記水素タンク50は、当該水素タンク50の長さ方向が前記ブーム31の長さ方向であるブーム長さ方向、すなわち、前記ブーム31の前記ブーム基端部から前記ブーム先端部に向かう方向、と略合致する姿勢で配置されているので、当該水素タンク50の全長に亘って前記運転室21に搭乗しているオペレータの視界に入りにくい。
 また、図1に例示される前記水素タンク50は、前記ブーム長さ方向における前記ブーム31の中間位置よりも前記ブーム基端部に近い位置に配置されており、このことは、前記作業装置30の前記作業動作に伴って前記水素タンク50が障害物等に接触する可能性を低減させる。すなわち、前記水素タンク50は、前記ブーム長さ方向において前記中間位置よりも前記ブーム基端部に近い位置に配置されることにより、当該水素タンク50が障害物に衝突して破損することが抑止される。
 このように前記作業装置30に搭載される前記水素タンク50は、小さい重量を有することが、好ましい。例えば、前記水素タンク50は、炭素繊維強化プラスチックとガラス繊維強化プラスチックとにより形成された軽量タイプのものが好適である。前記作業装置30の重量が大きいほど、前記先端アタッチメント33のリフトに関する性能、例えばショベルの許容掬い上げ重量、が低下するためである。
 前記水素受入れ部51は、前記水素タンク50に充填されて貯蔵されるための水素を受け入れる。前記水素受入れ部51も前記作業装置30に搭載される。具体的に、前記水素受入れ部51は、前記ブーム31の前記ブーム先端部またはその近傍に配置される。前記水素受入れ部51は、水素充填口51aを有し、前記水素充填口51aは、水素補給場所に設置される水素ディスペンサーのノズルを受け入れる受入口(レセプタクル)である。
 前記水素充填ライン60は、前記水素ディスペンサーから前記水素充填口51aを通じて前記水素受入れ部51に受け入れられた水素が前記水素充填ライン60を通じて前記水素タンク50に充填されることが可能となるように、配置される。具体的に、図1及び図2に例示される前記水素充填ライン60は、前記ブーム先端部又はその近傍に配置された前記水素受入れ部51から前記ブーム基端部又はその近傍に配置された前記水素タンク50に至るまで前記ブーム31の前記外側面に沿って延びるように配置されて当該外側面に固定される。
 前記水素充填ライン60は、好ましくは耐圧性能の高い高圧配管により構成される。前記水素充填ライン60には、前記水素タンク50における水素の充填圧力(例えば、約70MPa)と同じ高い圧力を有する水素が流れるためである。従って、前記水素充填ライン60には、前記の高い耐圧性能を実現するための高い強度が求められるとともに、発生する応力による変形や破損を防ぐことも考慮される必要がある。したがって、前記水素充填ライン60は、例えば、3/8インチ以上の直径を有するステンレス鋼製の配管により構成されることが好ましい。
 前記のように前記ブーム先端部の近傍に配置された前記水素受入れ部51は、前記作業装置30が図1に示されるようなブーム下げ姿勢にあるときに地上からオペレータ等がアクセス可能な高さに位置することが可能である。前記ブーム下げ姿勢は、前記ブーム先端部が地上に近づくように前記ブーム31が倒伏し、前記アーム32が前記ブーム31の腹面、すなわち前記ブーム31が倒伏した状態で下を向く面、に近づくように前記アーム32がアーム引き方向に回動させられ、前記先端アタッチメント33が上下方向において前記ブーム31と前記アーム32との間に位置するように前記先端アタッチメント33が前記アーム32に対して掬い方向に回動させられた姿勢である。この姿勢において、作業者は、前記水素タンク50への水素の充填のために前記水素ディスペンサーのノズルを前記水素充填口51aに差し込む作業を地上で容易に行うことができる。
 前記減圧弁52は、前記水素タンク50から前記動力源41に供給される水素を前記動力源41の前記水素燃料電池41Aで使用されることが可能な圧力まで減圧するレギュレーターである。前記減圧弁52は、前記水素タンク50及び前記水素受入れ部51と同様に前記作業装置30に搭載される。図1に示される例では、前記減圧弁52は前記ブーム基端部に近い位置であって前記水素タンク50の水素出入り口の近傍に配置されている。
 前記高圧供給ライン62及び前記低圧供給ライン64は、水素供給ラインを構成し、前記水素供給ラインは、当該水素供給ラインを通じて前記水素タンク50から前記動力源41に水素が供給されること、具体的には、前記水素タンク50から排出される高圧水素が前記減圧弁52において減圧された後に前記動力源41に供給されること、を許容する。
 前記高圧供給ライン62は、前記水素タンク50から前記減圧弁52に至るまでの水素供給経路を形成する。具体的に、図1に例示される前記高圧供給ライン62は、前記水素タンク50のすぐ近傍において前記水素充填ライン60から分岐して前記減圧弁52に至るように配置されている。
 前記高圧供給ライン62には、前記水素充填ライン60と同様、前記水素タンク50に充填される水素の圧力(例えば、約70MPa)と同等の高い圧力を有する水素が流れる。したがって、前記水素充填ライン60と同様に、前記高圧供給ライン62は、例えば、3/8インチ以上の直径を有するステンレス鋼製の配管により構成されることが好ましい。
 一方、前記低圧供給ライン64は、前記減圧弁52から前記動力源41に至るまでの水素供給経路を形成する。すなわち、前記低圧供給ライン64は、前記減圧弁52により減圧された後の水素が前記低圧供給ライン64を通じて前記動力源41に供給されることを可能にする。前記減圧弁52は前記ブーム31に搭載される一方、前記動力源41は前記上部旋回体20に搭載されているので、両者を接続する前記低圧供給ライン64は前記ブーム31と前記上部旋回体20とに跨るように配置されている。従って、前記低圧供給ライン64は、前記上部旋回体20に対する前記ブーム31の起伏動作に対応して柔軟に曲がるように構成されることが、好ましい。
 前記低圧供給ライン64には、前記減圧弁52により低減された低い圧力を有する水素しか流れないため、当該低圧供給ライン64に高い耐圧性能は要求されない。したがって、前記低圧供給ライン64は、柔軟性が高く容易に曲がることが可能なフレキシブルな配管(例えば、水素ガス対応のホース)により構成されることが可能である。すなわち、前記ブーム31に搭載された前記減圧弁52は、その下流側に配置される前記低圧供給ライン64が前記フレキシブルな配管により構成されることを可能にし、これにより、前記上部旋回体20に対する前記ブーム31の動きにかかわらず前記水素タンク50から前記動力源41まで好適に水素が供給されることを可能にする。
 図2に示される前記タンクカバー54は、前記水素タンク50及び前記減圧弁52を覆うように、前記作業装置30の適当な部位、前記第1実施形態では前記ブーム基端部の近傍における前記ブーム31の前記外側面、に脱着可能に装着される。前記タンクカバー54は、このように前記水素タンク50及び前記減圧弁52を覆うことにより、当該水素タンク50及び当該減圧弁52に泥、埃、雨水といった異物が付着するのを防ぐとともに、前記水素タンク50及び前記減圧弁52が直射日光に曝されるのを防ぐことができる。
 前記充填口カバー56は、前記水素充填口51aを覆うように、前記作業装置30の適当な部位、前記第1実施形態では前記ブーム先端部の近傍における前記ブーム31の前記外側面に脱着可能に装着される。前記充填口カバー56は、このように前記水素充填口51aを覆うことにより、当該水素充填口51aに泥、埃、雨水等の異物が付着するのを防ぐとともに、前記水素充填口51aが直射日光に曝されるのを防ぐことができる。
 以上説明した第1実施形態に係る前記作業機械1は、前記前記水素タンク50が作業装置30による作業の邪魔にならないように当該作業装置30に搭載されることを可能にする。また、複数の熱源(例えば、前記水素燃料電池41A、前記電動モータ41B、及び、当該電動モータ41Bの駆動制御を行うインバータ)が搭載される前記上部旋回体20と異なり、前記作業装置30にはそのような熱源が搭載されないので、当該作業装置30に搭載される前記水素タンク50は、前記のような熱源からの熱による影響を受けることが抑制される。
 次に、図5を参照しながら、本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。図5は、前記第2実施形態に係るブーム31を示す。前記ブーム31は、作業機械の作業装置を構成し、当該作業装置の構成は前記第1実施形態に係る前記作業装置30の構成と同等である。
 図5に示される前記ブーム31は、側面視でブーム基端部(図5では左端部)31aとブーム先端部(図5では右端部)31bとの間の位置で上側に凸となるように湾曲した形状を有するとともに、前記ブーム31の少なくとも一部(図5ではブーム31の略全体)が内部空間を囲む中空状をなす。前記第2実施形態では、前記内部空間内に水素供給系の構成要素である水素タンク、水素受入れ部及び減圧弁が配置され、これらは前記第1実施形態に係る前記水素タンク50、前記水素受入れ部51及び前記減圧弁52とそれぞれ同等である。
 前記第2実施形態に係る前記水素タンク、前記水素受入れ部及び前記減圧弁52の配置は、これらが前記ブーム31の内部に位置する点を除き、前記第1実施形態に係る前記水素タンク50、前記水素受入れ部51及び前記減圧弁52の配置と同様である。すなわち、前記第2実施形態に係る前記ブーム31の前記内部空間において、前記水素タンクは、前記ブーム31の長さ方向における中間位置よりも前記ブーム基端部31aに近い位置、好ましくは前記ブーム基端部31aまたはその近傍の位置、に配され、前記水素受入れ部は前記中間位置よりも前記ブーム先端部31bに近い位置、好ましくは前記ブーム先端部31bまたはその近傍の位置、に配され、前記減圧弁は前記水素タンクの水素出入り口の近傍に位置している。
 前記第2実施形態に係る前記水素供給系も、前記第1実施形態に係る前記水素充填ライン60、前記高圧供給ライン62及び前記低圧供給ライン64と同様の水素充填ライン、高圧供給ライン及び低圧供給ラインを含み、このうち前記水素充填ラインの全体、前記高圧供給ラインの全体及び前記低圧供給ラインの一部が前記ブーム31の前記内部空間に収容される一方、前記低圧供給ラインの他の部分が導出部分64dとして前記ブーム31の外部に導出されている。具体的に、前記ブーム31における前記ブーム基端部31aの近傍部分の背面側壁(図5では上側壁)に前記ブーム31の内部と外部とを連通する挿通口31cが形成され、当該挿通口31cに前記低圧供給ラインを構成するガス配管が挿通されている。前記導出部分64dは、前記挿通口31cから前記作業機械の上部旋回体に搭載される動力源まで延在するように配索される。前記低圧供給ラインの少なくとも前記導出部分64dは、前記上部旋回体に対する前記ブーム31の起伏動作に対応して曲がることが可能なフレキシブル配管により構成される。
 一方、前記ブーム31の側壁には、前記水素受入れ部の水素充填口を側方に開放する充填口窓31eが形成されるとともに、前記ブーム31には前記窓31eを開閉するための充填口扉58が取付けられている。すなわち、前記第2実施形態に係る前記作業機械は、開状態と閉状態とに切替可能な前記充填口扉58を備え、前記充填口扉58は、前記開状態において前記水素充填口を前記ブーム31の外部に開放して当該水素充填口に前記水素ディスペンサーのノズル等を差し込むことを可能にする一方、前記閉状態において前記水素充填口を覆うように、構成されている。
 以上説明した前記第2実施形態に係る作業装置では、前記水素タンク、前記水素受入れ部及び前記減圧弁が前記ブーム31の前記内部空間に収容されているので、当該水素タンク、水素受入れ部及び減圧弁に泥、埃、雨水等の異物が付着することが防がれるとともに、前記水素タンク、前記水素受入れ部及び前記減圧弁が直射日光に曝されることが、防がれる。また、前記水素タンクは、前記ブーム31を含む前記作業装置による作業の邪魔にならないように当該作業装置に搭載されることが可能である。
 次に、図6を参照しながら、本発明の第3実施形態について説明する。
 図6は、前記第3実施形態に係る作業機械1を示す。前記作業機械1の構成要素は、次の点を除き、前記第1実施形態に係る前記作業機械1の構成要素と同等である。すなわち、前記第3実施形態に係る前記作業機械1の水素供給系HSは、図6に示されるように低圧供給ライン64の途中に配される接続切替部66をさらに含む。前記接続切替部66は、前記低圧供給ライン64の上流側部分である上流側ライン64aと前記低圧供給ライン64の下流側部分である下流側ライン64bとの間に介在する。前記上流側ライン64aは、前記低圧供給ライン64において前記接続切替部66よりも上流側の部分、すなわち減圧弁52から前記接続切替部66に至るまでの部分であり、前記下流側ライン64bは、前記低圧供給ライン64において前記接続切替部66よりも下流側の部分、すなわち前記接続切替部66から動力源に至るまでの部分である。
 前記接続切替部66は、接続状態と接続解除状態との切替られることが可能である。前記接続切替部66は、前記接続状態では前記上流側ライン64aと前記下流側ライン64bとの相互の接続を行い、前記接続解除状態では前記接続を解除する、すなわち前記上流側ライン64aと前記下流側ライン64bとを切り離す。
 例えば、前記接続切替部66は、一般的な水素ガス用のカプラにより構成されることが可能である。前記カプラは、プラグと、当該プラグが脱着可能に差し込まれるソケットと、を含み、前記プラグが前記上流側ライン64aの下流側端部及び前記下流側ライン64bの上流側端部の何れか一方に取付けられ、前記ソケットが他方に取付けられる。前記プラグが前記ソケットに差し込まれることにより前記接続切替部66は前記接続状態となり、前記ソケットから前記プラグが抜かれることにより前記接続切替部66が前記接続解除状態になる。前記カプラは、前記接続解除状態において水素ガスの噴出を遮断する機能を有するガス遮断型のものであることが、好ましい。あるいは、前記接続解除状態において前記プラグ及び前記ソケットのそれぞれに前記水素ガスを封止するための封止栓が装着されてもよい。
 前記接続切替部66は、例えば、図6に示される前記水素供給系HSの水素タンク50と、これとは異なる機体水素タンクと、が併用されることを可能にする。
 前記機体水素タンクは、前記作業機械の機体に搭載される。すなわち、前記機体水素タンクは、前記上部旋回体20及び前記下部走行体10の少なくとも一方に搭載される。例えば、前記機体水素タンクは、図6に示される機体水素タンク57A及び機体水素タンク57Bのうちのいずれであってもよい。前記機体水素タンク57Aは、前記上部旋回体20に含まれる前記機械室22内に収容される。前記機体水素タンク57Bは、前記下部走行体10に含まれる前記走行フレーム11の内部、例えば前記中央フレーム11Aの内部、に収容される。
 前記水素タンク50と前記機体水素タンクとの併用は、例えば、通常は前記機体側タンクに貯蔵された水素を用い、当該機体側タンクの水素がなくなった非常時に前記水素供給系HSの前記水素タンク50の水素を使用するといったことが可能である。この場合、前記機体側タンクの水素の使用時すなわち通常時に前記接続切替部66を前記接続解除状態にすることにより、前記水素タンク50を前記動力源41から切り離すことが可能である。このように、前記接続解除状態では、前記低圧供給ライン64が、作業装置30に搭載された前記減圧弁52とつながる前記上流側ライン64aと、前記上部旋回体20に搭載される前記動力源41とつながる前記下流側ライン64bとに切り離されるので、前記上部旋回体20に対する前記ブーム31の動作によって前記低圧供給ライン64を構成するガス配管に応力が発生することを抑制し、当該応力に起因する前記ガス配管の劣化を抑えることができる。
 一方、非常時には前記接続切替部66を前記接続状態にして前記水素タンク50から前記動力源41に水素を供給することが可能である。例えば、前記機体側タンクの水素がなくなって前記作業機械1が水素補給場所まで移動する間は前記接続切替部66を前記接続状態にして前記水素供給系HSの前記水素タンク50から前記動力源41に非常用の水素を供給することができる。この場合も、前記移動の間は前記上部旋回体20に対して前記作業装置30を相対的に動作させる必要がないので、前記低圧供給ライン64を構成するガス配管における応力の発生は抑えられる。
 本発明は、以上説明した実施形態に限定されない。
 例えば、前記第3実施形態に係る前記水素タンク50、前記水素受入れ部51及び前記減圧弁52も、前記第2実施形態と同様に前記ブーム31の内部空間に収容されてもよい。
 また、作業装置において水素タンクが搭載される場所は、図1に示される前記ブーム31の外側面及び図5に示される前記ブーム31の内部空間に限定されない。前記水素タンクが配置されることが可能な場所の他の例は、前記ブーム31におけるブーム先端部またはその近傍におけるブームの外側面、前記ブーム31におけるブーム先端部またはその近傍における前記内部空間、前記アーム32の前記アーム先端部またはその近傍における前記アーム32の外側面、および前記アーム32の内部空間を含む。
 また、前記水素タンク50が前記運転室21に搭乗しているオペレータの視界に入ることが許容される場合は、前記ブーム31または前記アーム32の両側面のうち前記運転室21に近い側の側面、すなわち内側面、及び前記ブーム31または前記アーム32の背面(図1に示される姿勢では上面)の何れに前記水素タンク50が配置されていてもよい。
 以上述べたように、水素タンクが搭載されることが可能な作業機械が、提供される。前記作業機械は、下部走行体と、前記下部走行体に対して旋回可能となるように前記下部走行体に搭載される上部旋回体と、前記上部旋回体に連結され、前記上部旋回体に対する相対的な動作である作業動作を行うことが可能な作業装置と、前記上部旋回体に搭載され、水素を燃料として用いることにより動力を生成する動力源と、前記動力源に水素を供給する水素供給系と、を備える。前記水素供給系は水素を貯蔵する水素タンクを含み、前記水素タンクが前記作業装置に搭載される。
 前記水素供給系は、具体的には、減圧弁と低圧供給ラインとを含むことが、好ましい。前記減圧弁は、前記作業装置に搭載され、前記水素タンクから前記動力源に供給される水素を減圧する。前記低圧供給ラインは、前記減圧弁により減圧された水素が前記低圧供給ラインを通じて前記動力源に供給されることを可能にするように前記作業装置と前記上部旋回体とに跨って配置される。前記減圧弁と前記低圧供給ラインとの組み合わせは、前記動力源に適当な圧力で水素が供給されることを可能にする。また、前記低圧供給ラインに流れる水素は前記減圧弁により減圧されているので、当該低圧供給ラインを構成する部材に求められる強度は低い。
 この場合、前記水素供給系は、前記低圧供給ラインの上流側ラインと下流側ラインとの間に介在する接続切替部をさらに含み、前記接続切替部は、前記上流側ラインと下流側ラインとの相互の接続を行う接続状態と前記接続を解除する接続解除状態とに切替可能であることが、好ましい。前記上流側ラインは前記低圧供給ラインにおいて前記接続切替部よりも上流側の部分であり、前記下流側ラインは前記低圧供給ラインにおいて前記接続切替部よりも下流側の部分である。前記接続切替部は、前記接続状態において前記水素タンクから前記低圧供給ラインを通じて前記動力源に水素が供給されることを可能にする一方、前記接続解除状態において前記動力源から前記水素タンク及び前記減圧弁が切り離されることを可能にする。
 このことは、例えば、前記作業機械が前記水素タンクと異なるタンクであって水素を貯蔵する機体水素タンクをさらに備える場合に、使用されるべきタンクを前記水素タンクと前記機体側タンクとの間で切り替えることを可能にする。前記機体水素タンクは、前記上部旋回体または前記下部走行体に搭載される。
 前記水素供給系は、水素充填口を含む水素受入れ部と、水素充填ラインと、をさらに含むことが、好ましい。前記水素受入れ部は前記水素タンクに貯蔵されるための水素を前記水素充填口を通じて受入れる。前記水素充填ラインは前記水素受入れ部に受け入れられた前記水素が前記水素充填ラインを通じて前記水素タンクに充填されることを可能にするように前記水素受入れ部と前記水素タンクとを相互に接続する。前記水素受入れ部及び前記水素充填ラインは、前記水素タンクに適宜水素が補給されることを可能にする。
 具体的に、前記作業装置がブーム基端部及びブーム基端部と反対側の端部であるブーム先端部とを含むブームを含み、前記ブームが前記上部旋回体に対して起伏動作をすることが可能となるように前記ブーム基端部が前記上部旋回体に連結される場合、前記水素受入れ部は前記ブーム先端部またはその近傍に配置されることが、好ましい。このことは、前記作業装置の姿勢を前記ブーム先端部が低い姿勢にすることにより、地上の作業員が前記水素充填口に容易にアクセスすることを可能にする。
 一方、前記水素タンクは前記ブーム基端部又は前記ブーム基端部の近傍に配置されることが、好ましい。このことは、前記ブームを動かすために必要なモーメントが前記水素タンクの重量によって増加するのを抑制することができる。この場合、前記水素充填ラインは、前記水素受入れ部から前記水素タンクに至るまで前記ブームに沿うように配置されることにより、コンパクトな構造で前記水素受入れ部から前記水素タンクに水素が充填されることを可能にする。
 より具体的に、前記上部旋回体が運転室を含み、前記ブームは前記運転室と前記上部旋回体の幅方向に並ぶように配置される場合、前記水素タンクは前記ブームの外側面上に配置されることが、好ましい。前記外側面は前記ブームの両側面のうち前記運転室と反対の側を向く面であり、前記両側面は前記幅方向を向く前記ブームの側面である。このように前記外側面上に配置されることにより、前記水素タンクは、運転室に搭乗するオペレータの視界の妨げとなることが防がれる。
 あるいは、前記ブームが内部空間を囲む部分を含む場合、前記水素タンクは前記内部空間内に配置されてもよい。この場合も、前記水素タンクは、運転室に搭乗するオペレータの視界の妨げとなることが防がれる。

 

Claims (9)

  1.  作業機械であって、前記作業機械は、
     下部走行体と、
     前記下部走行体に対して旋回可能となるように前記下部走行体に搭載される上部旋回体と、
     前記上部旋回体に連結され、前記上部旋回体に対する相対的な動作である作業動作を行うことが可能な作業装置と、
     前記上部旋回体に搭載され、水素を燃料として用いることにより動力を生成する動力源と、
     前記動力源に水素を供給する水素供給系と、を備え、前記水素供給系は水素を貯蔵する水素タンクを含み、前記水素タンクが前記作業装置に搭載される、作業機械。
  2.  請求項1に記載の作業機械であって、前記水素供給系は、前記作業装置に搭載され、前記水素タンクから前記動力源に供給される水素を減圧する減圧弁と、低圧供給ラインと、を含み、前記低圧供給ラインは、前記減圧弁により減圧された水素が前記低圧供給ラインを通じて前記動力源に供給されることを可能にするように前記作業装置と前記上部旋回体とに跨って配置される、作業機械。
  3.  請求項2に記載の作業機械であって、前記水素供給系は、前記低圧供給ラインの上流側ラインと下流側ラインとの間に介在する接続切替部をさらに含み、前記接続切替部は、前記上流側ラインと下流側ラインとの相互の接続を行う接続状態と前記接続を解除する接続解除状態とに切替可能であり、前記上流側ラインは前記低圧供給ラインにおいて前記接続切替部よりも上流側の部分であり、前記下流側ラインは前記低圧供給ラインにおいて前記接続切替部よりも下流側の部分である、作業機械。
  4.  請求項3に記載の作業機械であって、前記水素タンクと異なるタンクであって水素を貯蔵する機体水素タンクをさらに備え、前記機体水素タンクは前記上部旋回体又は前記下部走行体に搭載される、作業機械。
  5.  請求項1~4の何れかに記載の作業機械であって、前記水素供給系は、水素充填口を含む水素受入れ部と、水素充填ラインと、をさらに含み、前記水素受入れ部は前記水素タンクに貯蔵されるための水素を前記水素充填口を通じて受入れ、前記水素充填ラインは前記水素受入れ部に受け入れられた前記水素が前記水素充填ラインを通じて前記水素タンクに充填されることを可能にするように前記水素受入れ部と前記水素タンクとを相互に接続する、作業機械。
  6.  請求項5に記載の作業機械であって、前記作業装置は、ブーム基端部及びブーム基端部と反対側の端部であるブーム先端部とを含むブームを含み、前記ブームが前記上部旋回体に対して起伏動作をすることが可能となるように前記ブーム基端部が前記上部旋回体に連結され、前記水素受入れ部は前記ブーム先端部またはその近傍に配置される、作業機械。
  7.  請求項6に記載の作業機械であって、前記水素タンクは前記ブーム基端部又は前記ブーム基端部の近傍に配置され、前記水素充填ラインは、前記水素受入れ部から前記水素タンクに至るまで前記ブームに沿うように配置される、作業機械。
  8.  請求項6又は7に記載の作業機械であって、前記上部旋回体は運転室を含み、前記ブームは前記運転室と前記上部旋回体の幅方向に並ぶように配置され、前記水素タンクは前記ブームの外側面上に配置され、前記外側面は前記ブームの両側面のうち前記運転室と反対の側を向く面であり、前記両側面は前記幅方向を向く前記ブームの側面である、作業機械。
  9.  請求項6又は7に記載の作業機械であって、前記ブームは内部空間を囲む部分を含み、前記水素タンクは前記内部空間内に配置される、作業機械。
