Abstract

本開示に係る二酸化炭素回収システムは、吸着剤で空気中の二酸化炭素を回収する吸着部と、屋内の空気を吸着部に搬送する搬送部と、空気から熱回収する熱回収部と、吸着剤から二酸化炭素を分離する分離部と、屋内から熱回収部を介して吸着部に至る第1経路と、屋内から熱回収部を介さずに吸着部に至る第2経路と、第1経路と第2経路との間で、空気の搬送経路を切り替える切替弁と、切替弁を制御する制御部と、を備える。

Description

二酸化炭素回収システム
 本開示は、二酸化炭素回収システムに関する。
 本願は、2024年6月25日に、日本に出願された特願2024-101614号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
 特許文献1には、二酸化炭素を吸着可能な吸着剤を用いて、空気中の二酸化炭素を除去する技術が開示されている。
日本国特開2020-131166号公報
 特許文献1の構成では、二酸化炭素濃度が低い外気から二酸化炭素を回収するため、吸着剤による二酸化炭素の回収効率が低く、二酸化炭素の回収コストが高くなる。
 本開示は、上記の事情に鑑みて、二酸化炭素の回収コストを低減することが可能な二酸化炭素回収システムを提供することを目的とする。
 本開示に係る二酸化炭素回収システムは、吸着剤で空気中の二酸化炭素を回収する吸着部と、屋内の空気を前記吸着部に搬送する搬送部と、空気から熱回収する熱回収部と、前記吸着剤から二酸化炭素を分離する分離部と、屋内から前記熱回収部を介して前記吸着部に至る第1経路と、屋内から前記熱回収部を介さずに前記吸着部に至る第2経路と、前記第1経路と前記第2経路との間で、空気の搬送経路を切り替える切替弁と、前記切替弁を制御する制御部と、を備える。
 本開示によれば、二酸化炭素の回収コストを低減することが可能な二酸化炭素回収システムを提供することができる。

 以下、図面を参照しながら、本開示の実施の形態について説明する。なお、本開示の範囲は、以下の実施の形態に限定されず、本開示の技術的思想の範囲内で任意に変更可能である。
実施の形態1.
 図1は、実施の形態1に係る二酸化炭素回収システム1を示す模式図である。
 図1に示すように、二酸化炭素回収システム1は、吸着部2と、搬送部3と、熱回収部4と、分離部5と、切替弁6と、制御部7と、第1温度検出部8と、第2温度検出部9と、を備える。また、二酸化炭素回収システム1は、内気搬送経路11と、外気搬送経路14(第3経路)と、吸着剤移動経路15と、を備える。
 内気搬送経路11は、吸着部2に接続されている。内気搬送経路11は、屋内の空気を吸着部2に導く。内気搬送経路11は、第1経路12と、第2経路13とを有する。第1経路12は、屋内から熱回収部4を介して吸着部2に至る。第2経路13は、屋内から熱回収部4を介さずに吸着部2に至る。内気搬送経路11には、第1経路12と第2経路13との間で、屋内の空気の搬送経路を切り替える切替弁6が設けられている。
 搬送部3は、内気搬送経路11に設けられている。搬送部3は、屋内の空気を吸着部2に搬送する。搬送部3は、例えば送風機である。図示の例では、搬送部3は、屋内と切替弁6との間に設けられている。この場合、単一の搬送部3を用いて、第1経路12および第2経路13のいずれにおいても、屋内の空気を吸着部2に搬送可能である。なお、搬送部3が、第1経路12と第2経路13とで別個に設けられていてもよい。この場合、第1経路12については、搬送部3は、熱回収部4に設けられていてもよい。第2経路13については、搬送部3は、第2経路13における切替弁6と吸着部2との間に設けられていてもよい。
 吸着部2は、吸着剤で空気中の二酸化炭素を回収する。吸着剤は、二酸化炭素を吸着可能な材質を含んでいる。二酸化炭素を吸着可能な材質としては、例えばアミン、ゼオライト、シリカゲル、珪藻土、アルミナ、活性炭等が挙げられる。上記のなかから複数の材質を選択して採用してもよいし、上記以外の材質を採用してもよい。吸着剤は粒状(例えばビーズ状(球形)、ペレット状(円柱形))であってもよい。あるいは、粉状の吸着剤を採用してもよい。この場合、粉状の吸着剤を、基材の表面に担持させてもよい。基材は、例えばハニカム形状であってもよい。例えば、粉状の吸着剤を、ハニカムロータに担持させてもよい。吸着剤は、液体の吸着液であってもよい。
 吸着部2は、屋外に配置される。本実施の形態では、吸着部2は、空気調和機の室外機100に設けられている。吸着部2は、室外機100が有する送風機が生み出す気流を受ける位置で、吸着剤を保持可能に構成される。吸着部2は、例えば、吸着剤を収容可能であり、通気性を有する容器を有していてもよい。吸着部2において保持された吸着剤には、室外機100の送風機の駆動により生じる気流が当たる。吸着部2は、室外機100の送風機によって搬送される外気と、吸着剤とを接触させて、吸着剤に二酸化炭素を吸着させる。なお、吸着部2が設けられる装置は、気流を発生可能な装置であればよく、室外機100に限られない。例えば、吸着部2は、換気扇などに設けられていてもよい。
 また、吸着部2は、内気搬送経路11から搬送される屋内の空気の気流が、吸着部2において保持された吸着剤に当たるよう構成されている。吸着部2は、内気搬送経路11から搬送される屋内の空気と、吸着剤とを接触させて、吸着剤に二酸化炭素を吸着させる。すなわち、吸着部2は、内気搬送経路11を介して搬送される屋内の空気を、二酸化炭素の回収に利用する。屋内の空気は、屋内にいる利用者の呼気を含むため、外気に比べて二酸化炭素濃度が高い。例えば、外気の二酸化炭素濃度は410ppm程度であり、屋内の空気の二酸化炭素濃度は1000ppm程度である。二酸化炭素濃度が高い屋内の空気を二酸化炭素の回収に利用することで、二酸化炭素の回収効率が向上し、二酸化炭素の回収コストを低減することができる。
 外気搬送経路14は、分離部5に接続されている。外気搬送経路14は、屋外から熱回収部4を介して分離部5に至る。外気搬送経路14は、外気を、熱回収部4を介して分離部5に導く。外気搬送経路14には、外気を分離部5に搬送する不図示の第2搬送部が設けられていてもよい。第2搬送部は、熱回収部4に設けられていてもよい。
 第1温度検出部8は、屋内の空気の温度を検出する。第1温度検出部8は、内気搬送経路11における屋内と切替弁6との間に設けられている。なお、第1温度検出部8は、屋内に設けられてもよい。第1温度検出部8の検出結果は、制御部7に出力される。
 第2温度検出部9は、外気の温度を検出する。第2温度検出部9は、外気搬送経路14において、熱回収部4よりも上流側に設けられている。第2温度検出部9の検出結果は、制御部7に出力される。
 制御部7は、第1温度検出部8および第2温度検出部9の検出結果に基づき、切替弁6を制御する。具体的に、制御部7は、第1温度検出部8が検出した温度(屋内の空気の温度)が第2温度検出部9が検出した温度(外気の温度)よりも高い場合に、屋内の空気の搬送経路を第1経路12に切り替えるよう切替弁6を制御する。また、制御部7は、第1温度検出部8が検出した温度(屋内の空気の温度)が第2温度検出部9が検出した温度(外気の温度)以下である場合に、屋内の空気の搬送経路を第2経路13に切り替えるよう切替弁6を制御する。
 熱回収部4は、屋内の空気から熱回収する。熱回収部4は、屋外に設置される。なお、熱回収部4は屋内に設置されてもよい。
 具体的に、熱回収部4において、内気搬送経路11の第1経路12と、外気搬送経路14とが交差しており、第1経路12を流通する屋内の空気と、外気搬送経路14を流通する外気との間で熱交換が行われる。なお、熱回収部4において、第1経路12を流通する屋内の空気と、外気搬送経路14を流通する外気とは、熱交換を行うのみであり、混合されない。
 上述のように、制御部7は、屋内の空気の温度が外気の温度よりも高い場合に、空気の搬送経路を第1経路12に切り替えるよう切替弁6を制御する。したがって、屋内の空気の温度が外気の温度より高い場合にのみ、屋内の空気は熱回収部4(第1経路12)を通過する。すなわち、熱回収部4において、第1経路12を流通する屋内の空気の温度は、外気搬送経路14を流通する外気の温度よりも高くなっている。熱回収部4は、第1経路12を流通する屋内の空気と外気搬送経路14を流通する外気との熱交換により、第1経路12を流通する屋内の空気から熱を回収し、外気搬送経路14を流通する外気に移動させる。したがって、熱回収部4を通過することで外気搬送経路14を流通する外気の温度は上昇する。
 分離部5は、吸着部2において二酸化炭素を吸着した吸着剤から二酸化炭素を分離する。分離部5は、二酸化炭素を吸着した吸着剤を加熱することで、吸着剤から二酸化炭素を分離する。分離部5は、外気搬送経路14から搬送される外気の気流を受ける位置で、吸着剤を保持可能に構成される。分離部5において保持された吸着剤に、熱回収部4を通過することで温度が上昇した外気の気流が当たることで、吸着剤は加熱される。すなわち、分離部5には、熱回収部4で回収された熱が、外気搬送経路14を介して供給される。分離部5は、熱回収部4で回収された熱を二酸化炭素の分離に利用する。なお、分離部5は、吸着剤を加熱するための加熱装置をさらに有していてもよい。
 分離部5は、屋外に配置される。吸着部2と分離部5とは離れて設けられている。吸着部2と分離部5との間には、吸着剤移動経路15が設けられる。吸着剤移動経路15は、吸着部2と分離部5との間で吸着剤を移動させる。吸着剤移動経路15は、例えば、吸着部2と分離部5とを接続する2つの配管を有している。吸着部2において二酸化炭素を吸着した吸着剤は、一方の配管を介して吸着部2から分離部5へ移動する。分離部5において二酸化炭素が分離された吸着剤は、他方の配管を介して分離部5から吸着部2に移動する。
 以上説明したように、本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システム1は、吸着剤で空気中の二酸化炭素を回収する吸着部2と、屋内の空気を吸着部2に搬送する搬送部3と、空気から熱回収する熱回収部4と、吸着剤から二酸化炭素を分離する分離部5と、屋内から熱回収部4を介して吸着部2に至る第1経路12と、屋内から熱回収部4を介さずに吸着部2に至る第2経路13と、第1経路12と第2経路13との間で、空気の搬送経路を切り替える切替弁6と、切替弁6を制御する制御部7と、を備える。
 このような二酸化炭素回収システム1によれば、吸着部2は、第1経路12または第2経路13を介して搬送される二酸化炭素濃度が高い屋内の空気を、二酸化炭素の回収に利用することができる。したがって、二酸化炭素の回収効率が向上し、二酸化炭素の回収コストを低減することができる。
 また、例えば吸着部2を通過後の空気を屋内に再度取り入れる場合、屋内の空気における二酸化炭素濃度を下げることができるため、換気風量を下げることができ、空調負荷を低減できる。
 また、二酸化炭素回収システム1は、屋外から熱回収部4を介して分離部5に至る外気搬送経路14を備える。
 この構成によれば、熱回収部4で回収された熱を、外気搬送経路14を介して分離部5に供給して、分離部5における二酸化炭素の分離に利用することができる。したがって、二酸化炭素の分離エネルギーを削減することができ、二酸化炭素の回収コストをさらに低減することができる。
 また、二酸化炭素回収システム1は、屋内の空気の温度を検出する第1温度検出部8を備える。制御部7は、第1温度検出部8の検出結果に基づき切替弁6を制御する。
 この構成によれば、屋内の空気の温度に基づいて空気の搬送経路を第1経路12と第2経路13との間で切り替えることで、熱回収部4において効率的に熱回収することができる。
 また、二酸化炭素回収システム1は、外気の温度を検出する第2温度検出部9を備える。制御部7は、第1温度検出部8が検出した温度が第2温度検出部9が検出した温度よりも高い場合に、第1経路12に切り替えるよう切替弁6を制御する。
 この構成によれば、屋内の空気の温度が外気の温度よりも高い場合に、屋内から熱回収部4を介して吸着部2に空気を搬送することで、熱回収部4において効率的に熱回収することができる。また、屋内の空気の温度が外気の温度以下である場合には、屋内から熱回収部4を介さずに吸着部2に空気を搬送することで、空気の搬送エネルギーを削減することができる。
 また、熱回収部4は屋外に設置される。
 この構成によれば、熱回収部4の設置およびメンテナンスが容易となり、システム全体におけるコストを削減できる。
 また、吸着部2と分離部5とは離れて設けられている。二酸化炭素回収システム1には、吸着部2と分離部5との間で吸着剤を移動させる吸着剤移動経路15が設けられている。
 この構成によれば、吸着部2と分離部5とが離れて設けられているため、分離部5の熱が吸着部2に伝搬することを抑制できる。したがって、吸着部2の温度が上昇することが抑制でき、吸着部2の温度上昇によって吸着部2の吸着効率が低下することが抑制できる。また、分離部5の温度が低下することが抑制でき、分離部5の温度低下によって分離部5の分離効率が低下することが抑制できる。
 また、吸着部2が室外機100に設けられている場合、吸着部2と分離部5とが離れて設けられることで、分離部5の熱が室外機100に伝搬することも抑制できる。したがって、室外機100の温度が上昇することが抑制でき、室外機100の温度上昇によって室外機100を備える空気調和機の空調性能が低下することが抑制できる。
実施の形態2.
 次に、図2を参照して、実施の形態2に係る二酸化炭素回収システムについて説明する。本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システムは、基本的な構成は実施の形態1と同様であるため、異なる点を中心に説明する。
 本実施の形態では、二酸化炭素回収システム1Aは、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21をさらに備えている。再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21は、外気搬送経路14における熱回収部4と分離部5との間に設けられる。再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21は、熱回収部4を通過した外気(空気)に、再生可能エネルギー熱を供給する。再生可能エネルギー熱は、例えば、太陽熱および地熱等を含む。再生可能エネルギー熱は、太陽熱、地熱、または風力で発電した動力を利用してヒートポンプ等の外部機器を動かしたときに生じる廃熱を含む。すなわち、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21は、太陽熱、地熱、および太陽熱、地熱、または風力で発電した動力を利用して外部機器を動かしたときに生じる廃熱のうち少なくとも一つを用いて、熱回収部4を通過した外気を加熱する。
 以上説明したように、本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システム1Aは、外気搬送経路14において熱回収部4と分離部5との間に設けられ、熱回収部4を通過した空気に、再生可能エネルギー熱を供給する再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21を備える。
 この構成によれば、再生可能エネルギー熱を、分離部5における二酸化炭素の分離に利用することができる。したがって、二酸化炭素の回収コストをさらに低減することができる。
実施の形態3.
 次に、図3を参照して、実施の形態3に係る二酸化炭素回収システムについて説明する。本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システムは、基本的な構成は実施の形態2と同様であるため、異なる点を中心に説明する。
 本実施の形態では、二酸化炭素回収システム1Bは、廃熱供給部22をさらに備えている。廃熱供給部22は、外気搬送経路14における熱回収部4と分離部5との間に設けられる。図示の例では、廃熱供給部22は、外気搬送経路14において再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21の下流側に設けられている。廃熱供給部22は、外気搬送経路14において再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21の上流側に設けられていてもよい。
 廃熱供給部22は、熱回収部4を通過した外気(空気)に、ヒートポンプの廃熱を供給する。ヒートポンプは、例えば、吸着部2が設けられる室外機100であってもよく、室外機100と対となる室内機であってもよい。ヒートポンプは、室外機100を備える空気調和機とは異なる空気調和機であってもよい。ヒートポンプは、給湯器であってもよい。廃熱供給部22は、ヒートポンプの廃熱を用いて、熱回収部4を通過した外気を加熱する。
 以上説明したように、本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システム1Bは、外気搬送経路14において熱回収部4と分離部5との間に設けられ、熱回収部4を通過した空気に、ヒートポンプの廃熱を供給する廃熱供給部22を備える。
 この構成によれば、ヒートポンプの廃熱を、分離部5における二酸化炭素の分離に利用することができる。したがって、二酸化炭素の回収コストをさらに低減することができる。
実施の形態4.
 次に、図4を参照して、実施の形態4に係る二酸化炭素回収システムについて説明する。本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システムは、基本的な構成は実施の形態3と同様であるため、異なる点を中心に説明する。
 本実施の形態では、二酸化炭素回収システム1Cは、ヒーター23をさらに備えている。ヒーター23は、外気搬送経路14における熱回収部4と分離部5との間に設けられる。図示の例では、ヒーター23は、外気搬送経路14において再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21および廃熱供給部22の下流側に設けられている。ヒーター23は、外気搬送経路14において再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21および廃熱供給部22の上流側に設けられていてもよく、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21と廃熱供給部22との間に設けられていてもよい。ヒーター23は、熱回収部4を通過した外気(空気)を加熱する。ヒーター23を設けることで、例えば熱回収部4、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21、および廃熱供給部22から供給される熱量が、分離部5における二酸化炭素の分離に不十分な場合であっても、不足分の熱量を補うことができる。
 以上説明したように、本実施の形態に係る二酸化炭素回収システム1Cは、外気搬送経路14において熱回収部4と分離部5との間に設けられ、熱回収部4を通過した空気を加熱するヒーター23を備える。
 この構成によれば、ヒーター23を用いて、分離部5に搬送される空気を確実に加熱することができる。したがって、二酸化炭素の回収コストを低減することができる。
 なお、本開示の技術的範囲は前記実施の形態に限定されず、本開示の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々の変更を加えることが可能である。
 例えば、上記の実施の形態において、吸着部2は、空気調和機の室外機100に設けられている。しかしながら、吸着部2は、内気搬送経路11から搬送される屋内の空気が、吸着部2において保持された吸着剤に当たるよう構成されていればよく、室外機100に設けられていなくてもよい。なお、吸着部2が室外機100に設けられている場合、吸着部2は、室外機100の送風機によって搬送される外気、および内気搬送経路11を介して搬送される二酸化炭素濃度が高い屋内の空気の双方を、二酸化炭素の回収に利用することができる。
 また、搬送部3、熱回収部4、切替弁6、および制御部7は、屋内に配置されていてもよく、屋外に配置されていてもよい。搬送部3、熱回収部4、切替弁6、および制御部7の全てが屋外に配置されている場合、メンテナンス性が向上する。
 また、実施の形態3において、二酸化炭素回収システム1Bは、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21を有しておらず、廃熱供給部22のみを有していてもよい。実施の形態4において、二酸化炭素回収システム1Cは、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21および廃熱供給部22を有しておらず、ヒーター23のみを有していてもよい。二酸化炭素回収システム1Cは、廃熱供給部22を有しておらず、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21およびヒーター23のみを有していてもよい。二酸化炭素回収システム1Cは、再生可能エネルギー熱供給部21を有しておらず、廃熱供給部22およびヒーター23のみを有していてもよい。
 尚、上述した制御部7は、内部にコンピュータシステムを有している。そして、上述した二酸化炭素回収システム1、1A、1B、1Cが備える各構成の機能を実現するためのプログラムをコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に記録して、この記録媒体に記録されたプログラムをコンピュータシステムに読み込ませ、実行することにより、上述した制御部7における処理を行ってもよい。また、制御部7以外のハードウェアが、上述した処理を行ってもよい。
 ここで、「記録媒体に記録されたプログラムをコンピュータシステムに読み込ませ、実行する」とは、コンピュータシステムにプログラムをインストールすることを含む。ここでいう「コンピュータシステム」とは、OS及び周辺機器等のハードウェアを含むものとする。
 また、「コンピュータシステム」は、インターネット又はWAN、LAN、専用回線等の通信回線を含むネットワークを介して接続された複数のコンピュータ装置を含んでもよい。また、「コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体」とは、フレキシブルディスク、光磁気ディスク、ROM、CD-ROM等の可搬媒体、コンピュータシステムに内蔵されるハードディスク等の記憶装置のことをいう。このように、プログラムを記憶した記録媒体は、CD-ROM等の非一過性の記録媒体であってもよい。
 また、記録媒体には、当該プログラムを配信するために配信サーバからアクセス可能な内部又は外部に設けられた記録媒体も含まれる。尚、プログラムを複数に分割し、それぞれ異なるタイミングでダウンロードした後に二酸化炭素回収システム1、1A、1B、1Cが備える各構成で合体される構成であってもよく、また、分割されたプログラムのそれぞれを配信する配信サーバが異なっていてもよい。さらに「コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体」とは、ネットワークを介してプログラムが送信された場合のサーバ又はクライアントとなるコンピュータシステム内部の揮発性メモリ(RAM)のように、一定時間プログラムを保持しているものも含むものとする。また、上記プログラムは、上述した機能の一部を実現するためのものであってもよい。さらに、上述した機能をコンピュータシステムに既に記録されているプログラムとの組み合わせで実現できるもの、いわゆる差分ファイル(差分プログラム)であってもよい。
 なお、制御部7それぞれの各機能の全て又は一部は、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)やPLD(Programmable Logic Device)やFPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)等のハードウェアを用いて実現されてもよい。
 その他、上記した実施の形態あるいは変形例を、適宜組み合わせてもよい。

  1.  吸着剤で空気中の二酸化炭素を回収する吸着部と、
     屋内の空気を前記吸着部に搬送する搬送部と、
     空気から熱回収する熱回収部と、
     前記吸着剤から二酸化炭素を分離する分離部と、
     屋内から前記熱回収部を介して前記吸着部に至る第1経路と、
     屋内から前記熱回収部を介さずに前記吸着部に至る第2経路と、
     前記第1経路と前記第2経路との間で、空気の搬送経路を切り替える切替弁と、
     前記切替弁を制御する制御部と、
    を備える、
    二酸化炭素回収システム。
  2.  屋外から前記熱回収部を介して前記分離部に至る第3経路をさらに備える、
    請求項1に記載の二酸化炭素回収システム。
  3.  屋内の空気の温度を検出する第1温度検出部を備え、
     前記制御部は、前記第1温度検出部の検出結果に基づき前記切替弁を制御する、

  4.  外気の温度を検出する第2温度検出部を備え、
     前記制御部は、前記第1温度検出部が検出した温度が前記第2温度検出部が検出した温度よりも高い場合に、前記第1経路に切り替えるよう前記切替弁を制御する、

  5.  屋外から前記熱回収部を介して前記分離部に至る第3経路と、
