Abstract

本開示は、車両内の様々なエリアを同時に照射することが可能な乗員照射装置の提供を目的とする。本開示に係る乗員照射装置は、車両(50)に取付けられた乗員照射装置(101)であって、車室内の互いに異なる座席エリア(FS,RS)を照射する複数の照射部(31,32)と、複数の照射部(31,32)を搭載する複数の基板(21,22)と、を備え、複数の基板(21,22)の各基板は、複数の照射部(31,32)のうち少なくとも1つの照射部を搭載し、各基板(21,22)の向きは、各基板(21,22)に搭載された各照射部(31,32)が照射する座席エリア(FS,RS)に応じて異なる。

Description

乗員照射装置
 本開示は、車両の乗員に光を照射する装置に関する。
 特許文献1に記載の乗員検知システムにおけるカメラは、1枚の基板に第1の赤外線LEDおよび第2の赤外線LEDを搭載した構成である。第1の赤外線LEDから照射された赤外光は、第1の配光部材によって車両内の前部座席エリアに配光される。第2の赤外線LEDから照射された赤外光は、第2の配光部材によって車両内の後部座席エリアに配光される。

 特許文献1に記載のカメラは、第1の赤外線LEDおよび第2の赤外線LEDが同じ基板に搭載されているため、それぞれの照射方向を大きく変えることが困難であり、運転者の手元など、基板の鉛直方向から離れた場所を照射することが困難だった。
 本開示は、上記の問題点を解決するためになされたものであり、車両内の様々なエリアを同時に照射することが可能な乗員照射装置の提供を目的とする。
 本開示の乗員照射装置は、車両に取付けられた乗員照射装置であって、車室内の互いに異なる座席エリアを照射する複数の照射部と、複数の照射部を搭載する複数の基板と、を備え、複数の基板の各基板は、複数の照射部のうち少なくとも1つの照射部を搭載し、各基板の向きは、各基板に搭載された各照射部が照射する座席エリアに応じて異なる。
 本開示の乗員照射装置は、異なる基板上に搭載された複数の照射部を備えるため、各基板の向きに応じて車両内の様々なエリアを同時に照射することができる。本開示の目的、特徴、態様、および利点は、以下の詳細な説明と添付図面とによって、より明白となる。

 <A.前提技術>
 前提技術に係る乗員照射装置について説明する。前提技術に係る乗員照射装置は、車両に搭載され、車両の車室内の乗員に光を照射すると共に、光が照射された乗員を撮影する。
 図1は、前提技術に係る乗員照射装置100の照射範囲R0を、車両50の横方向から見た図である。図2は、照射範囲R0を、車両50の上方向から見た図である。車両50は前部座席FSと後部座席RSとを含む複数の座席エリアを有している。図2において、運転席および助手席が前部座席FSに相当し、2列目の座席が後部座席RSに相当する。前部座席FSを第1座席エリアとし、後部座席RSを第2座席エリアとする。
 照射範囲R0は、車両50の前部座席FSおよび後部座席RSを含むように定められる。これにより、乗員照射装置100は、前部座席FSに搭乗した乗員と、後部座席RSに搭乗した乗員の両方を照射し、撮影することが可能となる。
 乗員照射装置100は、1枚の基板に搭載された複数の照射部を備える。複数の照射部は、例えば、車両50の前部座席FSを照射する第1照射部と、車両50の後部座席RSを照射する第2照射部とを含む。図3は、乗員照射装置100の第1照射部による光の照射範囲R01と、第2照射部による光の照射範囲R02とを示している。すなわち、図1に示す照射範囲R0は、第1照射部による光の照射範囲R01と、第2照射部による光の照射範囲R02とを含む。第1照射部および第2照射部の少なくともいずれかの後段には、入力された光を集光または拡散する光調整部品が設けられている。これにより、第2照射部による照射距離を第1照射部のそれよりも長くすることができる。しかし、第1照射部と第2照射部とは同一基板に搭載されているため、両者間で照射方向を大きく変えることは難しい。そのため、図3に示されるように、前部座席FSの乗員の手元が照射範囲R01から外れてしまうという問題が生じ得る。
 <B.実施の形態1>
 <B-1.構成>
 図4は、実施の形態1に係る乗員照射装置101の構成を示す分解斜視図である。図5は、乗員照射装置101の側面図である。乗員照射装置101は、前提技術に係る乗員照射装置100と同様、車両50に取付けられ、車室内の乗員を照射する装置である。以下、図4および図5を参照して乗員照射装置101の構成を説明する。
 乗員照射装置101は、外装としてカバー11および筐体12を備える。筐体12は乗員照射装置101の前方および側方を覆う。カバー11は、乗員照射装置101の後方を覆う。図4および図5の例において、乗員照射装置101は、外装に収納された内蔵部品として、第1基板21および第2基板22という2つの基板と、第1照射部31および第2照射部32という2つの照射部とを備えている。カバー11および筐体12の長手方向および短手方向にy軸およびz軸をとり、カバー11から筐体12に向かう方向をx軸正方向とする。
 なお、乗員照射装置101が備える基板および照射部の数は、それぞれ2つに限らない。乗員照射装置101は、3つ以上の基板を備えていてもよい。また、各基板には少なくとも1つの照射部が搭載されていればよい。
 図4および図5の例において、乗員照射装置101は、撮像部41を備えている。これにより、乗員照射装置101は、第1照射部31および第2照射部32が照射した車室内の乗員を撮影することが可能である。
 図4および図5の例において、撮像部41は第1照射部31と同じ第1基板21に搭載されている。しかし、撮像部41は第2基板22に搭載されていてもよいし、乗員照射装置101に備えられる複数の照射部のいずれとも異なる基板に搭載されていてもよい。但し、撮像部41がいずれかの照射部と同じ基板に搭載されることで、乗員照射装置101は部品点数の少ない簡潔な構造となる。
 また、図4の例において、撮像部41は、第1照射部31および第2照射部32の間ではなく、第1照射部31および第2照射部32に対する一方の側に配置される。言い換えれば、第1照射部31および第2照射部32は、撮像部41に対してy軸方向正側に配置される。ここで、y軸方向は例えば車両50の横方向(車幅方向)である。
 図4および図5の例において、乗員照射装置101は、第1照射部31から照射された光の強度および照射範囲を調整する光調整部品51を備えている。光調整部品51は、例えば集光レンズまたはリフレクターにより構成される。集光レンズにより構成された光調整部品51は、第1照射部31から照射された光を集光することにより、その強度を高め、かつ照射範囲を狭める。あるいは、リフレクターにより構成された光調整部品51は、第1照射部31から照射された光を拡散することにより、その強度を弱め、かつ照射範囲を広げる。
 光調整部品51は、第1照射部31および第2照射部32の少なくとも一方から照射された光の強度および照射範囲を調整する。光調整部品51は、カバー11または筐体12に固定される。光調整部品51は、第1照射部31および第2照射部32のうち、少なくとも一方の後段に設けられればよい。図4および図5の例では、光調整部品51は、第1照射部31および第2照射部32の両方の後段に跨るように設けられる。光調整部品のうち、第1照射部31の後段に位置する部分、すなわち第1照射部31から出射した光が通過する部分を第1光調整部品と称し、第2照射部32の後段に位置する部分、すなわち第2照射部32から出射した光が通過する部分を第2光調整部品と称する。第1光調整部品は、第1照射部31から出射する光の強度および照射範囲を調整する。第2光調整部品は、第2照射部32から出射する光の強度および照射範囲を調整する。
 第1照射部31が搭載された第1基板21と、第2照射部32が搭載された第2基板22とは、互いに異なる向きに配置される。例えば、第1基板21および第2基板22は、図示しない取付ステーによりカバー11または筐体12に取付けられており、取付ステーの角度調整により第1基板21および第2基板22の向きを調整することが可能である。図5の例において、第1基板21は、乗員照射装置101の前面S1に対して平行に配置される。これに対して、第2基板22は、乗員照射装置101の前面S1に対して、角度θだけ下向きに傾斜して配置される。従って、第1照射部31の照射光は、乗員照射装置101の前面S1の法線方向を中心軸として照射されるのに対し、第2照射部32の照射光の中心軸は、乗員照射装置101の前面S1の法線方向から角度θだけ下向きに傾斜する。
 図6は、乗員照射装置101の第1照射部31による照射範囲R11と、第2照射部32による照射範囲R12とを示している。上記で説明した第1基板21および第2基板22の配置により、第2照射部32の照射範囲R12は、後部座席RSの乗員をカバーする一方、第1照射部31は前部座席FSの乗員を、その手元まで広くカバーすることができる。
 <B-2.変形例>
 乗員照射装置101が備える複数の照射部は、それぞれが車両の異なる座席エリアを照射すればよい。すなわち、車両の座席エリアは第1座席エリアと第2座席エリアとを含み、第1照射部31および第2照射部32は、第1座席エリアおよび第2座席エリアをそれぞれ照射すればよい。図5および図6の例では、前部座席FSが第1座席エリアに属し、後部座席RSが第2座席エリアに属したが、この区分は一例である。第1座席エリアと第2座席エリアとは、車両の横方向に区分されていてもよい。例えば、第1座席エリアは運転席とその後方の座席であり、第2座席エリアは助手席とその後方の座席であってもよい。また、車両50の座席エリアは3つ以上の座席エリアに区分されてもよい。
 <B-3.効果>
 以上に説明したように、実施の形態1に係る乗員照射装置101は、車室内の互いに異なる座席エリアである前部座席FSおよび後部座席RSを照射する第1照射部31および第2照射部32と、第1照射部31および第2照射部32を搭載する第1基板21および第2基板22とを備える。第1基板21および第2基板22のそれぞれは、第1照射部31および第2照射部32のうち少なくとも1つの照射部を搭載する。第1基板21および第2基板22の向きは、それらに搭載された照射部が照射する座席エリアに応じて異なる。従って、乗員照射装置101は、第1基板21および第2基板22の向きに応じて車両50内の様々なエリアを同時に照射することができる。
 なお、各実施の形態を自由に組み合わせたり、各実施の形態を適宜、変形、省略したりすることが可能である。上記の説明は、すべての態様において、例示である。例示されていない無数の変形例が想定され得るものと解される。

  1.  車両に取付けられた乗員照射装置であって、
     前記車室内の互いに異なる座席エリアを照射する複数の照射部と、
     前記複数の照射部を搭載する複数の基板と、
    を備え、
     前記複数の基板の各基板は、前記複数の照射部のうち少なくとも1つの照射部を搭載し、
     前記各基板の向きは、前記各基板に搭載された各前記照射部が照射する前記座席エリアに応じて異なる、
    乗員照射装置。
  2.  前記複数の照射部に照射された前記車両の乗員を撮像する少なくとも1つの撮像部を備える、
