Abstract

パネルを基部に取り付ける作業を容易化することを目的とする。室外機は、筐体(21)と、熱交換器と、を有する本体部(20)と、本体部(20)の上方に設けられ熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部と、を備えている。筐体(21)は、基部(22)と、内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から基部(22)に着脱可能に取り付けられる下パネル(30)と、を有している。基部(22)は、第1スリット(24)及び第2スリット(25)が形成されている。下パネル(30)は、所定方向に突出し第1スリット(24)と係合する第1係合爪(31)と、第1係合爪(31)の下方に設けられ所定方向に突出し第2スリット(25)と係合する第2係合爪(32)と、を有している。第2係合爪(32)は、第1係合爪(31)が第1スリット(24)に係合した状態で第2スリット(25)に挿入可能とされている。

Description

空気調和機の室外機及び空気調和機の室外機の組立方法
 本開示は、空気調和機の室外機及び空気調和機の室外機の組立方法に関するものである。
 空気調和機の室外機として、上部にファンが設けられるとともに下部に熱交換器が設けられ、熱交換器で熱交換を終えた空気を上方に吹出す室外機が知られている(例えば、特許文献1)。
 特許文献1には、直方体形状の筐体の上部に送風機室が配置され、その下部に機械室が配置されている上吹出型の空気調和機の室外機が記載されている。この室外機は、機械室の正面に、メンテナンス時に取り外される4枚のサービスパネルが設けられている。

 このような室外機に取り付けられるパネル(サービスパネル)は、室外機の据付時やメンテナンス時等に着脱する頻度が高い。一方で、このような室外機のパネルは、比較的大きく重量が重いことからハンドリング性が悪く、パネルの取付作業が煩雑となる可能性があった。これらの点から、容易取り付けられるパネルを備えた室外機が望まれている。
 本開示は、このような事情に鑑みてなされたものであって、パネルを基部に取り付ける作業を容易化することができる空気調和機の室外機及び空気調和機の室外機の組立方法を提供することを目的とする。
 上記課題を解決するために、本開示の空気調和機の室外機及び空気調和機の室外機の組立方法は以下の手段を採用する。
 本開示の一態様に係る空気調和機の室外機は、外殻を為す筐体と、前記筐体の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器と、を有する本体部と、前記本体部の上方に設けられ前記熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部と、を備え、前記筐体は、基部と、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられるパネルと、を有し、前記基部は、第1係合穴及び第2係合穴が形成され、前記パネルは、前記所定方向に突出し前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合爪と、前記第1係合爪の上方又は下方に設けられ前記所定方向に突出し前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合爪と、を有し、前記第2係合爪は、前記第1係合爪が前記第1係合穴に係合した状態で前記第2係合穴に挿入可能とされている。
 本開示の一態様に係る空気調和機の室外機の組立方法は、前記室外機は、外殻を為す筐体と、前記筐体の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器と、を有する本体部と、前記本体部の上方に設けられ前記熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部と、を備え、前記筐体は、基部と、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられるパネルと、を有し、前記基部は、第1係合穴及び第2係合穴が形成され、前記パネルは、前記所定方向に突出し前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合爪と、前記第1係合爪の上方又は下方に設けられ前記所定方向に突出し前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合爪と、を有し、前記第1係合穴に前記第1係合爪を係合させる第1係合工程と、前記第1係合工程の後に、前記第1係合爪が前記第1係合穴に係合した状態で前記第2係合穴に前記第2係合爪を挿入して前記第2係合穴に前記第2係合爪を係合させる第2係合工程と、を備える。
 本開示によれば、パネルを基部に取り付ける作業を容易化することができる。

 以下に、本開示に係る空気調和機の室外機及び空気調和機の室外機の組立方法の一実施形態について、図面を参照して説明する。
 本実施形態に係る室外機1は、空気調和機に用いられる。
 図1に示すように、室外機1は、内部に熱交換器(図示省略)を収容する本体部20と、本体部20の上方に設けられる送風部10と、を備えている。
 送風部10は、内部に軸流ファン11を収容している。送風部10は、熱交換器を通過して本体部20の側方及び後方から本体部20の内部に流入した空気を上方へ排出する。送風部10は、本体部20の上端に接続されている。
 本体部20は、外殻を為す筐体21と、筐体21の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器(図示省略)と、を有する。内部空間には、熱交換器の他に圧縮機やアキュムレータ等の各種装置(図示省略)も収容されている。
 次に、図2等を用いて筐体21の詳細について説明する。なお、図2及び図6から図8において、(a),(b)及び(c)で示す図は、各々、筐体21の全体を示した図における(a)部分,(b)部分及び(c)部分を示す要部拡大図である。また、同様に、図9及び図12から図15において、(d),(e)及び(f)で示す図は、各々、筐体21の全体を示した図における(d)部分,(e)部分及び(f)部分を示す要部拡大図である。
 図2に示すように、筐体21は、内部空間の側方を規定する基部22と、内部空間の前方を規定する下パネル(パネル)30及び上パネル40と、上パネル40の上方に設けられるオーナメント50と、を有する。
 基部22は、内部空間の幅方向(2つの室外機1が並ぶ方向)の両端部の規定する側壁部22aと、前後方向の後端部を規定する後壁部22bと、を有している。
 側壁部22a及び後壁部22bには、複数の開口が形成されており、当該開口を介して外部の空気を内部空間に取り入れることができる。側壁部22a及び後壁部22bの内周面に沿って熱交換器が設けられている。
 側壁部22aの前面には、下パネル30及び上パネル40が固定される。側壁部22aの前面には、下パネル30及び上パネル40に設けられた係合爪が係合するスリットが複数形成されている。具体的には、側壁部22aには、第1スリット(第1係合穴)24,第2スリット(第2係合穴)25,第3スリット(第3係合穴)26,第4スリット27(図9参照)及び第5スリット28(図9参照)が形成されている。各スリットは、前後方向に貫通する開口であって、長手方向が上下方向とされている。
[下パネル30]
 図2に示すように、下パネル30は、内部空間の前方の下部を規定する。下パネル30は、前後方向(所定方向)から基部22に着脱可能に取り付けられている。詳細には、下パネル30は、前方から後方へ向かって基部22の側壁部22aに着脱可能に取り付けられている。
 下パネル30は、複数の第1係合爪31と、複数の第2係合爪32と、複数の第3係合爪33と、を有している。また、下パネル30の上端には、後述する上パネル40のフランジ41が挿通するフランジ用スリット(開口)34が形成されている。フランジ用スリット34は、上下方向に貫通する開口とされている。
 第1係合爪31は、下パネル30の幅方向の両端部であって上端部に設けられている。第1係合爪31は、下パネル30から後方に向かって突出するように設けられている。第1係合爪31は、板状の部材であって、第1スリット24に前方から挿通される。
 図3に示すように、第1係合爪31は、下パネル30から直線状に延びる第1支持部31aと、第1支持部31aの後端から曲折して下方に延びる第1係合部31bと、を一体的に有する。第1係合部31bを第1スリット24に挿通させた状態で、下パネル30を下方へ移動させることで、第1支持部31aの下端が第1スリット24の下縁と接触する。この状態において、第1係合部31bは、下パネル30の後面と当接するようになり、下パネル30の前後方向の移動を規制するようになる。このようにして、第1係合部31bは、第1スリット24と係合している。また、第1支持部31aは、下パネル30を基部22に対して支持している。
 図2に示すように、第2係合爪32は、下パネル30の幅方向の両端部であって上下方向の中央部に設けられている。第2係合爪32は、下パネル30から後方に向かって突出するように設けられている。第2係合爪32は、板状の部材であって、第2スリット25に前方から挿通される。第2係合爪32は、第1係合爪31が第1スリット24に係合した状態で第2スリット25に挿入可能とされている。
 図4に示すように、第2係合爪32は、下パネル30から直線状に延びる第2支持部32aと、第2支持部32aから曲折して下方に延びる第2係合部32bと、第2係合部32bから後方へ突出する第2突出部32cと、を一体的に有する。第2係合部32bを第2スリット25に挿通させた状態で、下パネル30を下方へ移動させることで、第2支持部32aの下端が第2スリット25の下縁と接触する。この状態において、第2係合部32bは、下パネル30の後面と当接するようになり、下パネル30の前後方向の移動を規制するようになる。このようにして、第2係合部32bは、第2スリット25と係合している。また、第2支持部32aは、下パネル30を基部22に対して支持している。第2突出部32cは、第2係合部32bの上部から突出している。第2突出部32cの下端は水平面に対して傾斜している。詳細には、第2突出部32cの下端は、後方に向かうにしたがって上方に向かうように傾斜している。
 図2に示すように、第3係合爪33は、下パネル30の幅方向の両端部であって下部に設けられている。第3係合爪33は、下パネル30から後方に向かって突出するように設けられている。第3係合爪33は、板状の部材であって、第3スリット26に前方から挿通される。
 図5に示すように、第3係合爪33は、下パネル30から直線状に延びる第3支持部33aと、第3支持部33aから曲折して下方に延びる第3係合部33bと、第3係合部33bから後方へ突出する第3突出部33cと、を一体的に有する。第3係合部33bを第3スリット26に挿通させた状態で、下パネル30を下方へ移動させることで、第3支持部33aの下端が第3スリット26の下縁と接触する。この状態において、第3係合部33bは、下パネル30の後面と当接するようになり、下パネル30の前後方向の移動を規制するようになる。このようにして、第3係合部33bは、第3スリット26と係合している。また、第3支持部33aは、下パネル30を基部22に対して支持している。第3突出部33cは、第3係合部33bの上部から突出している。第3突出部33cの後端は傾斜している。詳細には、第3突出部33cの後端は、後方に向かうにしたがって上方に向かうように傾斜している。
 第1係合爪31の第1係合部31bの上下方向の長さL1(図3参照)は、第2係合爪32の第2係合部32bの上下方向の長さL2(図4参照)よりも長い。また、第1係合爪31の第1係合部31bの上下方向の長さL1(図3参照)は、第3係合爪33の第3係合部33bの上下方向の長さL3(図5参照)よりも長い。
 また、各係合爪に設けられる突出部の前後方向の長さは、第1係合爪31から離れて設置される突出部ほど長く設定されている。本実施形態の下パネル30では、第3係合爪33が第2係合爪32よりも下方に設けられている。すなわち、第3係合爪33が第2係合爪32よりも、第1係合爪31から離れて設置されている。よって、第3係合爪33の第3突出部33cの前後方向の長さD2(図5参照)は、第2係合爪32の第2突出部32cの前後方向の長さD1(図4参照)よりも長い。
[上パネル40]
 図9に示すように、上パネル40は、内部空間の前方の上部を規定する。上パネル40は、前後方向(所定方向)から基部22に着脱可能に取り付けられている。詳細には、上パネル40は、前方から後方へ向かって基部22の側壁部22aに着脱可能に取り付けられている。
 上パネル40は、複数のフランジ(凸部)41と、複数の第4係合爪42と、複数の第5係合爪43と、を有している。
 フランジ41は、上パネル40の下端部に設けられている。複数のフランジ41は、幅方向に離間して配置されている。フランジ41は、上パネル40から下方に向かって突出するように設けられている。フランジ41は、板状の部材であって、下パネル30に形成されたフランジ用スリット34に上方から挿通される。
 図10に示すように、フランジ41は、上パネル40から下方に突出するように設けられている。フランジ41は、上下方向の長さよりも幅方向の長さの方が長い。
 図9に示すように、第4係合爪42は、上パネル40の幅方向の両端部であって上下方向の中央部に設けられている。第4係合爪42は、上パネル40から後方に向かって突出するように設けられている。第4係合爪42は、板状の部材であって、第4スリット27に前方から挿通される。
 図11に示すように、第4係合爪42は、上パネル40から直線状に延びる第4支持部42aと、第4支持部42aから曲折して下方に延びる第4係合部42bと、第4係合部42bから後方へ突出する第4突出部42cと、を一体的に有する。第4係合部42bを第4スリット27に挿通させた状態で、上パネル40を下方へ移動させることで、第4支持部42aの下端が第4スリット27の下縁と接触する。この状態において、第4係合部42bは、上パネル40の後面と当接するようになり、上パネル40の前後方向の移動を規制するようになる。このようにして、第4係合部42bは、第4スリット27と係合している。また、第4支持部42aは、上パネル40を基部22に対して支持している。第4突出部42cは、第4係合部42bの上部から突出している。第4突出部42cの下端は水平面に対して傾斜している。詳細には、第4突出部42cの下端は、後方に向かうにしたがって上方に向かうように傾斜している。
 図9に示すように、第4係合爪42は、上パネル40の幅方向の両端部であって下部に設けられている。第5係合爪43は、上パネル40から後方に向かって突出するように設けられている。第5係合爪43は、板状の部材であって、第5スリット28に前方から挿通される。
 図5に示すように、第5係合爪43は、上パネル40から直線状に延びる第5支持部43aと、第5支持部43aから曲折して下方に延びる第5係合部43bと、第5係合部43bから後方へ突出する第5突出部43cと、を一体的に有する。第5係合部43bを第5スリット28に挿通させた状態で、上パネル40を下方へ移動させることで、第5支持部43aの下端が第5スリット28の下縁と接触する。この状態において、第5係合部43bは、上パネル40の後面と当接するようになり、上パネル40の前後方向の移動を規制するようになる。このようにして、第5係合部43bは、第5スリット28と係合している。また、第5支持部43aは、上パネル40を基部22に対して支持している。第5突出部43cは、第5係合部43bの上部から突出している。第5突出部43cの下端は傾斜している。詳細には、第5突出部43cの下端は、後方に向かうにしたがって上方に向かうように傾斜している。
 フランジ41の上下方向の長さL4(図10参照)は、第4係合爪42の第4係合部42bの上下方向の長さL5(図11参照)よりも長い。また、フランジ41の上下方向の長さL4(図10参照)は、第5係合爪43の第5係合部43bの上下方向の長さL6(図12参照)よりも長い。
 また、各係合爪に設けられる突出部の前後方向の長さは、フランジ41から離れて設置される突出部ほど長く設定されている。本実施形態の上パネル40では、第5係合爪43が第4係合爪42よりも上方に設けられている。すなわち、第5係合爪43が第4係合爪42よりも、フランジ41から離れて設置されている。よって、第5係合爪43の第5突出部43cの前後方向の長さD4(図12参照)は、第4係合爪42の第4突出部42cの前後方向の長さD3(図11参照)よりも長い。
[組立方法]
 次に、本実施形態に係る室外機1の組立方法について説明する。
 下パネル30の取付方法について図2及び図6~図8を用いて説明する。
 まず、図2に示すように、作業員は下パネル30を傾けて、下パネル30に設けられた2つの第1係合爪31を、各々、基部22に形成された第1スリット24に挿入する((a)参照)。これにより、基部22に対する下パネル30の上下方向及び幅方向の位置決めがされる。この状態では、下パネル30は、下端に向かうにしたがって基部22から離れるように傾斜した姿勢となっている。このため、第2係合爪32は第2スリット25に挿入されていない状態となっている((b)参照)。また、第3係合爪33も第3スリット26に挿入されていない状態となっている((c)参照)。
 次に、図6に示すように、作業員は、下パネル30を下方へ移動させて第1係合爪31を第1スリット24に係合させる((a)参照)。このとき、下端が基部22に近づくように下パネル30を移動させる。これにより、第2係合爪32の第2突出部32cが第2スリット25に挿入された状態となる((b)参照)。また、第3係合爪33の第3突出部33cが第3スリット26に挿入された状態となる((c)参照)。これにより、基部22に対する下パネル30の幅方向の位置決めがされる。なお、この状態では、第2係合爪32の第2係合部32bは、第2スリット25を超えていないので、第2係合爪32と第2スリット25とは係合していない。また、同様に、この状態では、第3係合爪33の第3係合部33bは、第3スリット26を超えていないので、第3係合爪33と第3スリット26とは係合していない。
 次に、図7に示すように、作業員は、下パネル30を若干持上げながら後方へ移動させる。このとき、第2係合爪32の第2突出部32cの後端は傾斜しているので、第2スリット25の下縁を第2突出部32cの傾斜部分が前後方向にスライド移動することで、下パネル30の上方への移動をアシストする。また、同様に、第3スリット26の下縁を第3突出部33cの傾斜部分が前後方向にスライド移動することで、下パネル30の上方への移動をアシストする。
 次に、図8に示すように、作業員は、下パネル30を後方へ移動させて第2係合爪32の第2係合部32bと第2スリット25とを係合させる。また、第3係合爪33の第3係合部33bと第3スリット26とを係合させる。これにより、下パネル30を所定の位置に設置する。また、この状態では、第2係合爪32及び第3係合爪33は、下パネル30に覆われて視認できない状態となる((b)及び(c)参照)。
 次に、下パネル30を本体部20のフレームベースに対してネジ等で固定する。詳細には、図8に示すように、下パネル30の下端部に形成された3つのネジ孔30a及び上端部に形成された2つのネジ孔30aでねじ止めされる。
 なお、上端部に形成された2つのネジ孔30aに固定されるネジは、上パネル40を取り付けることで上パネル40によって覆われるため、外部から視認することはできない。
 次に、上パネル40の取付方法について図9及び図13~図15を用いて説明する。
 まず、図9に示すように、作業員は上パネル40を傾けて、上パネル40に設けられた2つのフランジ41を、各々、基部22に形成されたフランジ用スリット34に挿入する((f)参照)。これにより、基部22に対する上パネル40の上下方向及び幅方向の位置決めがされる。この状態では、上パネル40は、上端に向かうにしたがって基部22から離れるように傾斜した姿勢となっている。このため、第4係合爪42は第4スリット27に挿入されていない状態となっている((e)参照)。また、第5係合爪43も第5スリット28に挿入されていない状態となっている((d)参照)。
 次に、図13に示すように、作業員は、上パネル40の上端が基部22に近づくように上パネル40を移動させる。これにより、第4係合爪42の第4突出部42c(図11参照)が第4スリット27に挿入された状態となる((e)参照)。また、第5係合爪43の第5突出部43c(図12参照)が第5スリット28に挿入された状態となる((d)参照)。これにより、基部22に対する上パネル40の幅方向の位置決めがされる。なお、この状態では、第4係合爪42の第4係合部42bは、第4スリット27を超えていないので、第4係合爪42と第4スリット27とは係合していない。また、同様に、この状態では、第5係合爪43の第5係合部43bは、第5スリット28を超えていないので、第5係合爪43と第5スリット28とは係合していない。
 次に、図14に示すように、作業員は、上パネル40を若干持上げながら後方へ移動させる。このとき、第4係合爪42の第4突出部42cの後端は傾斜しているので、第4スリット27の下縁を第4突出部42cの傾斜部分が前後方向にスライド移動することで、上パネル40の上方への移動をアシストする。また、同様に、第5スリット28の下縁を第5突出部43cの傾斜部分が前後方向にスライド移動することで、上パネル40の上方への移動をアシストする。
 次に、図15に示すように、作業員は、上パネル40を後方へ移動させて第4係合爪42の第4係合部42bと第4スリット27とを係合させる。また、第5係合爪43の第5係合部43bと第5スリット28とを係合させる。これにより、上パネル40を所定の位置に設置する。また、この状態では、フランジ41,第4係合爪42及び第5係合爪43は、上パネル40に覆われて視認できない状態となる((d),(e)及び(f)参照)。
 次に、上パネル40を送風部10のフレームに対してネジ等で固定する。詳細には、図15に示すように、上パネル40の上端部に形成された3つのネジ孔40aを挿通するねじ(図示省略)で基部22に対してねじ止めされる。次に、ネジ孔40aをオーナメント50(図1参照)で覆い、オーナメント50を送風部10のフレームに対してねじ止めする。
 このようにして、下パネル30及び上パネル40を取り付ける。
 なお、下パネル30及び上パネル40を取り外す場合には、上述の工程を逆に行う。
 本実施形態によれば、以下の作用効果を奏する。
 本実施形態では、第2係合爪32は、第1係合爪31が第1スリット24に係合した状態で第2スリット25に挿入可能とされている。これにより、下パネル30を第1係合爪31で支持した状態で、第2係合爪32を第2スリット25に挿入し係合させることができる。すなわち、第1係合爪31によって下パネル30と基部22との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪32を第2スリット25に挿入し係合させることができる。したがって、下パネル30を基部22に取り付ける作業を容易化することができる。また、下パネル30と同様に、上パネル40の取付け作業も容易化することができる。したがって、空気調和機の室外機1の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、同様に、第1係合爪31によって下パネル30と基部22との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪32を第2スリット25から取り外すことができるので、下パネル30を基部22から取り外す作業を容易化することができる。
 本実施形態では、第1係合部31bの上下方向の長さは、第2係合部32bの上下方向の長さよりも長い。これにより、第2係合爪32(詳細には第2係合爪32の第2係合部32b)を第2スリット25に係合させる際に、第1係合爪31(詳細には第1係合爪31の第1係合部31b)が第1スリット24から抜け難い。したがって、第1係合爪31が第1スリット24に係合した状態を維持し易くすることができる。よって、より好適に、第1係合爪31で下パネル30と基部22との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪32を第2スリット25に挿入し係合させることができる。よって、下パネル30を基部22に取り付ける作業を容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機1の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、同様に、より好適に、第1係合爪31によって下パネル30と基部22との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪32を第2スリット25から取り外すことができるので、下パネル30を基部22から取り外す作業を容易化することができる。
 本実施形態では、第2係合爪32が、第2係合部32bから前後方向に突出する第2突出部32cを有している。これにより、第2係合部32bを第2スリット25に係合させる前に、第2突出部32cを第2スリット25に挿入することができる。第2スリット25に挿入された第2突出部32cは、第2スリット25の縁と当接することで第2係合爪32の左右方向の移動を規制する。したがって、左右方向の移動を規制した状態で、第2係合爪32(詳細には、第2係合爪32の第2係合部32b)を第2スリット25に係合させることができる。よって、下パネル30を基部22に取り付ける作業をより容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機1の組立性を向上させることができる。
 第1係合爪31を第1スリット24に係合させた状態において、下パネル30は第1係合爪31を支点として基部22に対して傾斜している。具体的には、第1係合爪31と第1スリット24との係合部分から離れるにしたがって基部22と下パネル30との離間距離が大きくなるように傾斜している(図2参照)。本実施形態では、第1係合爪31から遠い第3係合爪33の第3突出部33cの前後方向の長さD2の方が、第1係合爪31から近い第2係合爪32の第2突出部32cの前後方向の長さD1よりも長い。すなわち、基部22と下パネル30との離間距離が大きくなる部分に設けられる係合爪ほど突出部の長さが長くなる。このため、基部22に対して下パネル30が傾斜した状態であっても、複数の係合爪(第2係合爪32及び第3係合爪33)を全てスリット(第2スリット25及び第3スリット26)に挿入し易くすることができる。したがって、左右方向の移動を規制した状態で、第2係合爪32及び第3係合爪33を、第2スリット25及び第3スリット26に係合させることができる。よって、下パネル30を基部22に取り付ける作業をより容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機1の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、本実施形態では、下パネル30及び上パネル40を取り付ける際に、支点となる部材(第1係合爪31及びフランジ41)が室外機1の上下方向の中央部に設けられている。これにより、作業員が立位で下パネル30及び上パネル40の取付け作業を行うことができるので、取り付ける作業をより容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機1の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、本実施形態では、上パネル40にはフランジ41が設けられ、下パネル30にはフランジ41が挿入されるフランジ用スリット34が形成されている。これにより、フランジ用スリット34にフランジ41が挿入されることで上パネル40と下パネル30とが固定されている。これにより、上パネル40と下パネル30との固定部分において、ネジやボルト等を用いない構造とすることができる。したがって、室外機1全体において、外部に露出するネジやボルトの数を低減することができる。よって、室外機1の美観を向上させることができる。
 また、本実施形態では、室外機1の上下方向の中央部に設けられるネジを上パネル40で覆うことで外部から視認できないようにしている。このように、目に付き易い箇所のネジを隠すことで、室外機1の美観をより向上させることができる。
 なお、本開示は、上記各実施形態に限定されるものではなく、その要旨を逸脱しない範囲において、適宜変形が可能である。
 例えば、各係合爪やスリットの数は上記実施形態の数に限定されない。
 以上説明した実施形態に記載の空気調和機の室外機及び空気調和機の室外機の組立方法は、例えば以下のように把握される。
 本開示の第1態様に係る空気調和機の室外機は、外殻を為す筐体(21)と、前記筐体の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器と、を有する本体部(20)と、前記本体部の上方に設けられ前記熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部(10)と、を備え、前記筐体は、基部(22)と、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられるパネル(30)と、を有し、前記基部は、第1係合穴(24)及び第2係合穴(25)が形成され、前記パネルは、前記所定方向に突出し前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合爪(31)と、前記第1係合爪の上方又は下方に設けられ前記所定方向に突出し前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合爪(32)と、を有し、前記第2係合爪は、前記第1係合爪が前記第1係合穴に係合した状態で前記第2係合穴に挿入可能とされている。
 上記構成では、第2係合爪は、第1係合爪が第1係合穴に係合した状態で第2係合穴に挿入可能とされている。これにより、パネルを第1係合爪で支持した状態で、第2係合爪を第2係合穴に挿入し係合させることができる。すなわち、第1係合爪によってパネルと基部との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪を第2係合穴に挿入し係合させることができる。したがって、パネルを基部に取り付ける作業を容易化することができる。したがって、空気調和機の室外機の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、同様に、第1係合爪によってパネルと基部との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪を第2係合穴から取り外すことができるので、パネルを基部から取り外す作業を容易化することができる。
 また、本開示の第2態様に係る空気調和機の室外機は、上記第1態様において、前記第1係合爪は、下方に延びて前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合部(31b)を有し、前記第2係合爪は、下方に延びて前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合部(32b)を有し、前記第1係合部の上下方向の長さは、前記第2係合部の上下方向の長さよりも長い。
 上記構成では、第1係合部の上下方向の長さは、第2係合部の上下方向の長さよりも長い。これにより、第2係合爪(詳細には第2係合爪の第2係合部)を第2係合穴に係合させる際に、第1係合爪(詳細には第1係合爪の第1係合部)が第1係合穴から抜け難い。したがって、第1係合爪が第1係合穴に係合した状態を維持し易くすることができる。よって、より好適に、第1係合爪でパネルと基部との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪を第2係合穴に挿入し係合させることができる。よって、パネルを基部に取り付ける作業を容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、同様に、より好適に、第1係合爪によってパネルと基部との位置合わせをした状態で、第2係合爪を第2係合穴から取り外すことができるので、パネルを基部から取り外す作業を容易化することができる。
 また、本開示の第3態様に係る空気調和機の室外機は、上記第1態様または第2態様において、前記第2係合爪は、下方に延びて前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合部(32b)と、前記第2係合部から前記所定方向に突出する突出部(32c)と、を有する。
 上記構成では、第2係合爪が、第2係合部から所定方向に突出する突出部を有している。これにより、第2係合部を第2係合穴に係合させる前に、突出部を第2係合穴に挿入することができる。第2係合穴に挿入された突出部は、第2係合穴の縁と当接することで第2係合爪の左右方向の移動を規制する。したがって、左右方向の移動を規制した状態で、第2係合爪(詳細には、第2係合爪の第2係合部)を第2係合穴に係合させることができる。よって、パネルを基部に取り付ける作業をより容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、本開示の第4態様に係る空気調和機の室外機は、上記第3態様において、前記第2係合爪は複数設けられていて、複数の前記第2係合爪は、前記第1係合爪から遠い前記第2係合爪(33)の方が、前記第1係合爪から近い前記第2係合爪(32)よりも、前記突出部の前記所定方向の長さが長い。
 第1係合爪を第1係合穴に係合させた状態において、パネルは第1係合爪を支点として基部に対して傾斜している。具体的には、第1係合爪と第1係合穴との係合部分から離れるにしたがって基部とパネルとの離間距離が大きくなるように傾斜している。上記構成では、第1係合爪から遠い第2係合爪の方が、第1係合爪から近い第2係合爪よりも、突出部の所定方向の長さが長い。すなわち、基部とパネルとの離間距離が大きくなる部分に設けられる第2係合爪ほど突出部の長さが長くなる。このため、基部に対してパネルが傾斜した状態であっても、複数の第2係合爪を全て第2嵌合穴に挿入し易くすることができる。したがって、左右方向の移動を規制した状態で、全ての第2係合爪(詳細には、第2係合爪の第2係合部)を第2係合穴に係合させることができる。よって、パネルを基部に取り付ける作業をより容易化することができる。よって、空気調和機の室外機の組立性を向上させることができる。
 また、本開示の第5態様に係る空気調和機の室外機は、上記第1態様から第4態様のいずれかにおいて、前記筐体は、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに前記所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられ、前記パネルと隣接して設けられる第2のパネル(40)を有し、前記パネル及び前記第2のパネルの一方には凸部(41)が設けられ、前記パネル及び前記第2のパネルの他方には前記凸部が挿入される開口(34)が形成されている。
 上記構成では、パネル及び第2のパネルの一方には凸部が設けられ、パネル及び第2のパネルの他方には前記凸部が挿入される開口が形成されている。これにより、開口に凸部が挿入されることでパネルと第2のパネルとが固定されている。これにより、パネルと第2のパネルとの固定部分において、ネジやボルト等を用いない構造とすることができる。したがって、室外機全体において、外部に露出するネジやボルトの数を低減することができる。よって、室外機の美観を向上させることができる。
 また、本開示の第1態様に係る空気調和機の室外機の組立方法は、空気調和機の室外機の組立方法であって、前記室外機は、外殻を為す筐体(21)と、前記筐体の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器と、を有する本体部(20)と、前記本体部の上方に設けられ前記熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部(10)と、を備え、前記筐体は、基部(22)と、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられるパネル(30)と、を有し、前記基部は、第1係合穴(24)及び第2係合穴(25)が形成され、前記パネルは、前記所定方向に突出し前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合爪(31)と、前記第1係合爪の上方又は下方に設けられ前記所定方向に突出し前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合爪(32)と、を有し、前記第1係合穴に前記第1係合爪を係合させる第1係合工程と、前記第1係合工程の後に、前記第1係合爪が前記第1係合穴に係合した状態で前記第2係合穴に前記第2係合爪を挿入して前記第2係合穴に前記第2係合爪を係合させる第2係合工程と、を備える。

Claims (6)

  1.  外殻を為す筐体と、前記筐体の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器と、を有する本体部と、
     前記本体部の上方に設けられ前記熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部と、を備え、
     前記筐体は、基部と、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられるパネルと、を有し、
     前記基部は、第1係合穴及び第2係合穴が形成され、
     前記パネルは、前記所定方向に突出し前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合爪と、前記第1係合爪の上方又は下方に設けられ前記所定方向に突出し前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合爪と、を有し、
     前記第2係合爪は、前記第1係合爪が前記第1係合穴に係合した状態で前記第2係合穴に挿入可能とされている空気調和機の室外機。
  2.  前記第1係合爪は、下方に延びて前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合部を有し、
     前記第2係合爪は、下方に延びて前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合部を有し、
     前記第1係合部の上下方向の長さは、前記第2係合部の上下方向の長さよりも長い請求項1に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
  3.  前記第2係合爪は、下方に延びて前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合部と、前記第2係合部から前記所定方向に突出する突出部と、を有する請求項1に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
  4.  前記第2係合爪は複数設けられていて、
     複数の前記第2係合爪は、前記第1係合爪から遠い前記第2係合爪の方が、前記第1係合爪から近い前記第2係合爪よりも、前記突出部の前記所定方向の長さが長い請求項3に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
  5.  前記筐体は、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに前記所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられ、前記パネルと隣接して設けられる第2のパネルを有し、
     前記パネル及び前記第2のパネルの一方には凸部が設けられ、前記パネル及び前記第2のパネルの他方には前記凸部が挿入される開口が形成されている請求項1に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
  6.  空気調和機の室外機の組立方法であって、
     前記室外機は、
     外殻を為す筐体と、前記筐体の内部に形成された内部空間に収容される熱交換器と、を有する本体部と、
     前記本体部の上方に設けられ前記熱交換器を通過した空気を上方へ流通させる送風部と、を備え、
     前記筐体は、基部と、前記内部空間の側方の一部を規定するとともに所定方向から前記基部に着脱可能に取り付けられるパネルと、を有し、
     前記基部は、第1係合穴及び第2係合穴が形成され、
     前記パネルは、前記所定方向に突出し前記第1係合穴と係合する第1係合爪と、前記第1係合爪の上方又は下方に設けられ前記所定方向に突出し前記第2係合穴と係合する第2係合爪と、を有し、
     前記第1係合穴に前記第1係合爪を係合させる第1係合工程と、
     前記第1係合工程の後に、前記第1係合爪が前記第1係合穴に係合した状態で前記第2係合穴に前記第2係合爪を挿入して前記第2係合穴に前記第2係合爪を係合させる第2係合工程と、を備える空気調和機の室外機の組立方法。
