Definitions
- the present invention relates to a control method and control device for an electric vehicle.
- JP2013-240258A discloses control for suppressing vehicle vibrations caused by pitching motion in an electric vehicle driven by a single motor by applying a specified filtering process to the motor torque command value.
- the pitch angle ⁇ smoothly increases (decreases) in response to the vehicle's acceleration (deceleration) without oscillating, converging to a constant value. It is also desirable that the pitch rate ⁇ ' increases in response to the vehicle's acceleration (deceleration), and then converges to zero without oscillating. In other words, when controlling pitch behavior by adjusting the drive force distribution, it is desirable to suppress oscillatory changes in the pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ '. However, conventional pitch control sometimes fails to sufficiently suppress oscillatory changes in the pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ '.
- the present invention aims to provide a control method for an electric vehicle and a control device for an electric vehicle that can better suppress oscillatory changes in pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ '.
- One aspect of the present invention is a control method for an electric vehicle having a front motor that drives the front wheels and a rear motor that drives the rear wheels, in which pitching of the electric vehicle is controlled by transferring driving force between the front and rear wheels.
- This control method calculates a reference pitch response, which is a reference response related to pitching of the electric vehicle, based on a driving force command value that commands the driving force of the front and rear wheels. It then obtains an actual pitch response, which is an actual response related to pitching of the electric vehicle, and calculates a driving force transfer amount, which represents the driving force to be transferred between the front and rear wheels, based on the reference pitch response and the actual pitch response.
- a phase-lead compensation process is then performed on the driving force transfer amount, which advances the phase of a predetermined frequency band that includes the pitching resonance frequency, to calculate a corrected driving force transfer amount.
- the corrected driving force transfer amount is then used to correct the driving force command value to calculate a corrected driving force command value, and the front motor and rear motor are driven based on this corrected driving force command value.

In this embodiment, the command value corrector 45 calculates the corrected driving force command values Ff2*, Fr2 * by adding the corrected driving force transfer amount Fd ' to the first front wheel driving force command value Ff1 * and subtracting the corrected driving force transfer amount Fd ' from the first rear wheel driving force command value Fr1 * .
- the phase difference compensation unit 46 performs phase difference compensation processing on the corrected driving force command values F f2 * , F r2 * so as to reduce the phase difference between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32 in the corrected driving force command values F f2 * , F r2 * .
- the phase difference compensation unit 46 includes a first phase difference compensator 48 and a second phase difference compensator 49.

- the first phase difference compensator 48 reduces the phase difference between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32 by processing the second front-wheel drive force command value T f2 * with a phase difference compensation filter G rr (s)/G r (s) that is configured with the inverse characteristic 1/G r ( s ) of the transfer characteristic G r (s) and the transfer characteristic G rr (s).

- the second phase difference compensator 49 performs phase difference compensation processing based on the difference ⁇ fr between the delay time ⁇ f from the torque T f of the front motor 21 to the actual pitch response ( ⁇ , ⁇ ') and the delay time ⁇ r from the torque T r of the rear motor 31 to the actual pitch response ( ⁇ , ⁇ ' ).
- the second phase difference compensator 49 reduces the phase difference between the corrected driving force command values F f2 * and F r2 * by delaying the corrected driving force command value with the shorter delay of the delay times ⁇ f and ⁇ r in accordance with the difference ⁇ fr .
- the second phase difference compensator 49 delays the phase of the second front wheel driving force command value F f2 * in accordance with the difference ⁇ fr .
- the second phase difference compensator 49 delays the phase of the second rear wheel driving force command value F r2 * in accordance with the difference ⁇ fr .
- the delay times ⁇ f and ⁇ r are predetermined depending on the specific configuration of the electric vehicle 100. Therefore, the target and correction amount of the phase difference compensation process by the second phase difference compensator 49 are predetermined based on experiments or simulations.
- Figure 7 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the reference pitch response calculation unit 41. - the dead time processing units 51, 52 adjust the phases of the basic driving force command values F f1 * , F r1 * in accordance with the dead time from the input of the basic driving force command values F f1 * , F r1 * until the occurrence of a pitch response.

- the dead time processing unit 52 adjusts the phase of the first rear wheel driving force command value F r1 * based on the delay time ⁇ r .
- the dead time processing unit 52 is expressed as exp(- ⁇ rs ).

- the filter processing unit 54 filters the first front-wheel drive force command value F r1 * using the transfer characteristic G rr (s). In this way, the filter processing units 53 and 54 take into account the delay (dead time) caused by vibration damping control in the calculation of the reference pitch response.
- the pitching moment multiplication unit 55 multiplies the first front wheel driving force command value F f1 * by the pitching moment M f caused by the front wheels 22.
- the pitching moment multiplication unit 56 multiplies the first front wheel driving force command value F r1 * by the pitching moment M r caused by the rear wheels 32.

- the dead time processor 59 adjusts the phase of the reference pitch response output by the filter processor 58 in accordance with dead time ⁇ sen due to factors not included in the delay times ⁇ f and ⁇ r , such as detection delays of sensors and delays due to communication between various locations, with respect to the reference pitch response output by the filter processor 58.
- the dead time processor 59 is expressed as exp(- ⁇ sen s).
- reference pitch response calculation unit 41 calculates the reference pitch response based on equation (10) or equation (5) in principle.
- reference pitch response calculation unit 41 particularly includes dead time processing units 51, 52, and 59, as described above.
- dead time processing units 51, 52, and 59 By taking into account the system's dead times ⁇ f , ⁇ r , and ⁇ sen in calculating the reference pitch response, the phase shift between the reference pitch response and the actual pitch response is reduced.
- the phase shift (phase lag) of the driving force movement amount Fd which will be corrected later by phase lead compensation unit 44, can be reduced in advance.
- Fig. 8 is a block diagram showing the configuration of driving force transfer amount calculation unit 43.
- driving force transfer amount calculation unit 43 calculates driving force transfer amount Fd from the deviation ⁇ ' between reference pitch response ⁇ r ' and actual pitch rate ⁇ ' in accordance with the above-mentioned equation (17).
- driving force transfer amount calculation unit 43 is composed of a filter 61 having a characteristic Hd (s)/ Gp ⁇ ' (s) and a multiplier 62 that multiplies the output of filter 61 by 1/( Mf - Mr ).
- the filter 61 of the driving force change amount calculation unit 43 is configured to have the characteristic Hd (s)/ Gp ⁇ (s) by using Gp ⁇ (s) instead of Gp ⁇ ' (s).
- FIG. 9A and 9B are Bode plots showing changes in gain and phase due to phase lead compensation.
- FIG. 9A shows gain versus frequency
- FIG. 9B shows phase versus frequency.
- the dashed lines indicate the gain and phase of a comparative example
- the solid lines indicate the gain and phase of this embodiment.
- the comparative example is an example in which phase lead compensation is not performed on the driving force movement amount Fd (i.e., the phase lead compensation unit 44 is not provided).
- phase lead compensation processing is not performed on the driving force transfer amount Fd calculated by the driving force transfer amount calculation unit 43, the phase of the driving force transfer amount Fd will lag in a predetermined frequency band ( fL ⁇ f ⁇ fH ) that includes the pitching resonance frequency f ⁇ . Therefore, if the driving force transfer amount Fd is used as is to correct the basic driving force command values Ff1 * , Fr1 * , the actual pitch response may not completely follow the intended pitch response.
- the phase lead compensation process reduces the phase delay of the driving force shift amount Fd in the predetermined frequency band ( fL ⁇ f ⁇ fH ) that includes the pitching resonance frequency f ⁇ .
- the basic driving force command values Ff1 * and Fr1 * using the corrected driving force shift amount Fd ' with reduced phase delay in the predetermined frequency band, the actual pitch response more easily follows the intended pitch response than in the comparative example. Specifically, this is as follows.
- FIG. 10 is a graph showing changes in longitudinal acceleration, pitch angle, pitch rate, etc. in a comparative example.
- FIG. 10(A) shows the torque Tf of the front motor 21 and the torque Tr of the rear motor 31.
- FIG. 10(B) shows the acceleration Ac (longitudinal acceleration) of the electric vehicle 100.
- FIG. 10(C) shows the rotation speed Nf of the front motor 21.
- FIG. 10(D) shows the rotation speed Nr of the rear motor 31.
- FIG. 10(E) shows the pitch angle ⁇ .
- FIG. 10(F) shows the pitch rate ⁇ '.
- an example is shown in which the accelerator is depressed from a stopped state at time t1 , causing the electric vehicle 100 to accelerate (start).
- the dashed lines in Figures 10(A)-(F) show the changes in each parameter when the driving force distribution between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32 is fixed at 50:50 and no driving force movement is performed, i.e., when pitch control is not performed.
- the basic driving force command values F f1 * and F r1 * are corrected using the driving force transfer amount F d . That is, in the comparative example, although phase advance processing is not performed on the driving force transfer amount F d , pitch control itself is performed. Therefore, when the accelerator is depressed at time t1 and electric vehicle 100 pitches, as shown in FIG. 10(B), acceleration A c corresponding to accelerator opening A po is maintained. However, as shown in FIGS. 10(A), 10(C), and 10(D), torques T f and Tr and rotation speeds N f and N r change compared to when pitch control is not performed (dashed line). As a result, as shown in FIG.
- the ideal behavior of the pitch angle ⁇ when the electric vehicle 100 accelerates is one in which the pitch angle ⁇ smoothly increases and converges to a constant pitch angle ⁇ corresponding to the acceleration.
- the pitch angle ⁇ stops increasing once around time t2 , then increases again and converges to a final value. Therefore, there is room for improvement in the behavior of the pitch angle ⁇ by the pitch control in the comparative example.
- FIG. 11 is a graph showing the transitions of longitudinal acceleration, pitch angle, pitch rate, etc. in this embodiment.
- the parameters shown in FIGS. 11(A)-(F) are the same as those in FIGS. 10(A)-(F).
- FIG. 11 also shows a scene in which the accelerator is depressed from a stopped state at time t1 , causing the electric vehicle 100 to accelerate (start moving).
- the dashed lines in FIGS. 11(A)-(F) are the same as those in FIGS. 10(A)-(F), and show the transitions of the parameters when pitch control is not performed.
- the basic driving force command values Ff1 * and Fr1 * are corrected using the corrected driving force transfer amount Fd ' that has been subjected to phase lead compensation. Therefore, when the accelerator is depressed at time t1 and electric vehicle 100 pitches, as shown in Figure 11(B), the acceleration Ac corresponding to accelerator opening Apo is maintained, but as shown in Figures 11(A), 11(C), and 11(D), the torques Tf and Tr and the rotation speeds Nf and Nr change compared to when pitch control is not performed (dashed lines). Furthermore, the manner in which these parameters change differs from the comparative example ( Figures 10(A), (C), and (D)) described above due to the phase lead compensation process being applied to driving force transfer amount Fd .
- the pitch angle ⁇ rises more smoothly than in the comparative example ( Figure 10(E)), converging to a constant value in response to acceleration.
- the pitch rate ⁇ ' has reduced oscillatory components compared to the comparative example ( Figure 10(F)), and after rising in response to acceleration, it converges smoothly and quickly. In other words, in this embodiment, the pitch response is closer to the ideal than in the comparative example.
- FIG. 12 is a block diagram showing a configuration for performing the pitch angle control calculation process (S203) according to a modified example.
- the controller 14 may include a feedforward compensator 71 (FF compensator) in addition to the feedback compensator 47.
- the feedforward compensator 71 pre-corrects the basic driving force command values F f1 * , F r1 * so as to reduce vibrations in the driving force transmission system, such as torsional vibrations of the drive shafts 27, 37.
- the feedback compensator 47 can calculate the driving force shift amount F d and the corrected driving force shift amount F d ′ using the basic driving force command values F f1 * , F r1 * corrected by the feedforward compensator 71, as in the above embodiment. As a result, oscillatory changes in the pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ ′ are suppressed even when the feedforward compensator 71 is used.
- control methods for electric vehicles are methods for controlling pitching of an electric vehicle 100 having a front motor 21 that drives the front wheels 22 and a rear motor 31 that drives the rear wheels 32, by transferring driving force between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32.
- a reference pitch response ( ⁇ r' or ⁇ r), which is a reference response related to pitching, is calculated based on driving force command values ( Ff1 * , Fr1 * ) that command the driving forces of the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32
- an actual pitch response ( ⁇ ' or ⁇ ) which is an actual response related to pitching
- a driving force transfer amount Fd which represents the driving force to be transferred between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32
- a phase lead compensation process is performed on the driving force movement amount Fd to advance the phase of a predetermined frequency band ( fL ⁇ f ⁇ fH ) including the pitching resonance frequency f ⁇ , thereby calculating a corrected driving force movement amount Fd ' , and the driving force command values ( Ff1 * , Fr1 * ) are corrected using the corrected driving force movement amount Fd' to calculate corrected driving force command values ( Ff2 * , Fr2 * ), and the front motor 21 and rear motor 31 are driven based on these corrected driving force command values ( Ff2 * , Fr2 * ).
- the widths of the predetermined frequency bands (f L and f H ) in the phase lead compensation process are set based on the delay time ( ⁇ f or ⁇ r ) from the torque (T f , Tr ) of the front motor 21 or the rear motor 31 to the actual pitch response ( ⁇ ′ or ⁇ ).
- the characteristics of the phase-lead compensation process (the characteristics of G ⁇ ff (s)) are set based on the delay time ( ⁇ f or ⁇ r ) from the torques T f and T r to the actual pitch response, the predetermined frequency band for the phase-lead compensation process will include at least the pitching resonance frequency f ⁇ , and the phase delay of the driving force transfer amount F d will be reduced. As a result, oscillations of the pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ ' will be easily suppressed.
- the phase of the driving force transfer amount Fd is advanced so that the phase delay of the driving force transfer amount Fd becomes zero degrees (0 deg) at least at the resonance frequency f ⁇ .
- the predetermined frequency band (f L ⁇ f ⁇ f H ) in the phase lead compensation process includes at least a range of 1 Hz to 2 Hz.
- a typical pitching resonance frequency f ⁇ of electric vehicle 100 is about 1 to 2 Hz. Therefore, by performing the phase lead compensation process as described above to advance the phase of driving force transfer amount F d in the range of 1 Hz to 2 Hz, it is particularly easy to suppress vibrations in pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ ′.
- the phase of the reference pitch response ( ⁇ r' or ⁇ r) is adjusted based on the delay time ( ⁇ f or ⁇ r ) from the torque ( Tf , Tr ) of the front motor 21 or the rear motor 31 to the actual pitch response ( ⁇ ' or ⁇ ), and the driving force transfer amount Fd is calculated using the phase-adjusted reference pitch response ( ⁇ r ' or ⁇ r ).
- a phase difference compensation process is further performed on the corrected driving force command values ( F f2 *, F r2 *) to reduce the phase difference between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32 based on the difference ⁇ fr between the delay time ⁇ f from the torque T f of the front motor 21 to the actual pitch response ( ⁇ ' or ⁇ ) and the delay time ⁇ r from the torque T r of the rear motor 31 to the actual pitch response ( ⁇ ' or ⁇ ).
- phase difference compensation processing based on the difference ⁇ fr between the delay times ⁇ f and ⁇ r of the actual pitch responses in the front drive system 11 and the rear drive system 12 compensates for setting errors in the phase lead compensation processing for the driving force change amount Fd.
- vibrations in the pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ ' are particularly effectively suppressed regardless of whether the phase lead compensation processing for the driving force change amount Fd is set based on ⁇ f or ⁇ r .
- a phase difference compensation process is further performed on the corrected driving force command value (F f2 * , F r2 *) to reduce the phase difference between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32 using the transfer characteristic G r (s) from the torque T f of the front motor 21 to the rotation speed N f of the front motor 21 and the transfer characteristic G rr (s) from the torque T r of the rear motor 31 to the rotation speed N r of the rear motor 31.
- phase difference compensation processing based on the transfer characteristics Gr (s) and Grr (s) can reduce errors caused by differences in the dynamic characteristics, including vibration damping control, between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32. As a result, vibrations in the pitch angle ⁇ and pitch rate ⁇ ' are particularly effectively suppressed.
- the control device for an electric vehicle is an electric vehicle control device (controller 14) that controls pitching of an electric vehicle 100 having a front motor 21 that drives the front wheels 22 and a rear motor 31 that drives the rear wheels 32 by transferring driving force between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32.
- This control device includes a reference pitch response calculation unit 41 that calculates a reference pitch response ( ⁇ r' or ⁇ r ) , which is a reference response related to pitching, based on driving force command values ( Ff1 * , Fr1 * ) that command driving forces for the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32; an actual pitch response acquisition unit (42) that acquires an actual pitch response ( ⁇ ' or ⁇ ), which is an actual response related to pitching; a driving force transfer amount calculation unit 43 that calculates a driving force transfer amount Fd, which represents the driving force to be transferred between the front wheels 22 and the rear wheels 32, based on the reference pitch response ( ⁇ r ' or ⁇ r) and the actual pitch response ( ⁇ ' or ⁇ ); a phase lead compensation unit 44 that calculates a corrected driving force transfer amount Fd ' by applying phase lead compensation processing to the driving force transfer amount Fd to advance the phase of a predetermined frequency band (fL ⁇ f ⁇ fH ) that includes the pitching resonance frequency f ⁇ ; and

Description
*を処理する位相差補償フィルタGr(s)/Grr(s)は、伝達特性Grr(s)の逆特性1/Grr(s)と、伝達特性Gr(s)で構成される。
