本申请要求2024年03月26号申请的,申请号为2024103546247,名称为“正极活性材料及其制备方法、正极极片、二次电池和用电装置”的中国专利申请的优先权,在此将其全文引入作为参考。
本申请涉及二次电池技术领域,尤其涉及一种正极活性材料及其制备方法、正极极片、二次电池和用电装置。
这里的陈述仅提供与本申请有关的背景信息,而不必然构成现有技术。
近年来,随着锂离子电池的应用范围越来越广泛,锂离子电池广泛应用于水力、火力、风力和太阳能电站等储能电源系统,以及电动工具、电动自行车、电动摩托车、电动汽车等多个领域。由于锂离子电池取得了极大的发展,因此对其能量密度、循环性能和安全性能等也提出了更高的要求。
超高镍正极材料(镍含量≥80%)能够赋予电池更高的容量,提升能量密度。然而,超高镍正极材料本身的热稳定性较差,容易受电池自身温度变化影响分解产生氧气并释放大量热量,进而容易发生热失控,特别当超高镍正极材料应用于圆柱电池时,内部卷绕剩余空间较小,更容易发生热失控甚至爆炸。
为了实现上述目的,本申请的第一方面提供了一种镍含量较高,且热稳定性较高的正极活性材料及其制备方法,以及包含该正极活性材料的正极极片、二次电池和用电装置。
本申请的第一方面,提供一种正极活性材料,包括核壳颗粒,所述核壳颗粒包括内芯和壳层,所述内芯包含第一正极材料,所述壳层包含第二正极材料;
所述第一正极材料包括通式为Lia1Nib1M1c1O2的材料,M1包括Mn、Co、Al、Mg、Ti、Zr和W中的一种或多种,0.9≤a1≤1.2,b1+c1=1;
所述第二正极材料包括通式为Lia2Nib2M2c2O2的材料,M2包括Mn、Al、Sr、Nb和Y中的一种或多种,0.9≤a2≤1.2,b2+c2=1;
其中,c2和c1满足:c2-c1≥0.05。
上述正极活性材料,在核壳结构的基础上,合理配置内芯和壳层的正极材料中的元素比例,能够形成稳定的材料表层结构,降低表面晶格氧损失,从而有效改善材料的热稳定性,使材料具有较好的高温循环性能,如此使得正极活性材料整体具有较高的容量和能量密度以及较好的高温循环稳定性。
在其中一些实施方式中,c2和c1满足:0.05≤c2-c1≤0.3。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述第二正极材料满足如下特征中的一种或多种:
(1)0.6≤b2≤0.92;
(2)0.05≤c2≤0.4;
(3)0.9≤a2≤1.02。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述第一正极材料满足如下特征中的一种或多种:
(1)0.8≤b1≤1;
(2)0≤c1≤0.2;
(3)0.95≤a1≤1.05。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述壳层的厚度为0.1μm~3μm。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述核壳颗粒还包括设置于所述内芯和壳层之间的中间层,所述中间层包含第三正极材料,所述第三正极材料包括通式为Lia3Nib3M2c3M3d3O2的材料,M3包括Zr、Ti、W、Mo、Ta、Sn、Se和Sb中的一种或多种,0.9≤a3≤1.2,b3+c3+d3=1。通过引入进行了元素掺杂的所述中间层,可以有效束缚晶格氧,在壳结构失效时发挥阻断作用,减少晶格氧迁移,从而改善材料的热稳定性,提升循环性能。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述第三正极材料满足如下特征中的一种或多种:
(1)0.8≤b3≤0.9;
(2)0≤c3≤0.1;
(3)0.02≤d3≤0.1。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述中间层的厚度为0.1μm~1μm。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述核壳颗粒的Dv50为6μm~15μm。
本申请的第二方面,提供第一方面所述的正极活性材料的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
按照通式Lia1Nib1M1c1O2混合Ni盐、M1的盐和第一溶剂,制备第一前驱体溶液;
按照通式Lia2Nib2M2c2O2混合Ni盐、M2的盐和第二溶剂,制备第二前驱体溶液;
采用所述第一前驱体溶液和第二前驱体溶液通过沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体;
将所述前驱体与锂盐进行混合,烧结,制备所述正极活性材料。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述的制备方法还包括按照通式Lia3Nib3M2c3M3d3O2混合Ni盐、M2的盐、M3的盐和第三溶剂,制备第三前驱体溶液,以及将所述第三前驱体溶液与所述第一前驱体溶液和第二前驱体溶液通过沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体的步骤。
在其中一些实施方式中,沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体具有如下特征中的一项或多项:
(1)采用的沉淀剂包括氢氧化钠、碳酸钠、碳酸钾和氢氧化钾中的一种或多种;
(2)采用的络合剂包括氨水、氯化铵、硫酸铵、尿素、柠檬酸和乙二胺四乙酸中的一种或多种;
(3)反应pH控制为11~14;
(4)反应温度为40℃~80℃。
在其中一些实施方式中,烧结具有如下特征中的一项或多项:
(1)烧结温度为400℃~800℃;
(2)烧结时间为8h~18h;
(3)升温速率为0.5℃/min~5℃/min;
(4)气氛为空气或O2氛围。
本申请的第三方面,提供一种正极极片,包括第一方面所述的正极活性材料和第二方面所述的制备方法制备得到的正极活性材料中的一种或多种。
本申请的第四方面,提供一种二次电池,包括第三方面所述的正极极片。
在其中一些实施方式中,所述二次电池为圆柱型电池。
本申请的第五方面,提供一种用电装置,包括第三方面所述的正极极片和第四方面所述的二次电池中的一种或多种。

本申请一实施方式提供了一种正极活性材料,包括核壳颗粒,所述核壳颗粒包括内芯和壳层,所述内芯包含第一正极材料,所述壳层包含第二正极材料;
所述第一正极材料包括通式为Lia1Nib1M1c1O2的材料,M1包括Mn、Co、Al、Mg、Ti、Zr和W中的一种或多种,0.9≤a1≤1.2,b1+c1=1;
所述第二正极材料包括通式为Lia2Nib2M2c2O2的材料,M2包括Mn、Al、Sr、Nb和Y中的一种或多种,0.9≤a2≤1.2,b2+c2=1;
其中,c2和c1满足:c2-c1≥0.05。
经研究发现,高镍材料的热分解/释氧首先从材料表面开始,氧空位形成后会进一步促使材料内部晶格氧向表面迁移,形成恶性循环。基于此,本申请提出加强高镍材料表面结构的稳定性,以减少表层材料结构的相变及释氧。同时研究还发现,在壳层采用较高含量的M2元素能够使高镍材料的表面结构更加稳定,在高温下不容易发生晶格氧氧化释放,且能够推迟材料的放热温度。
基于此,上述正极活性材料,在核壳结构的基础上,合理配置内芯和壳层的正极材料中的元素比例,其中,内芯采用高镍的第一正极材料,采用较少的元素掺杂,使正极活性材料整体的容量和能量密度较高,壳层采用较内芯含量更高的M2元素掺杂的第二正极材料,能够形成稳定的材料表层结构,降低表面晶格氧损失,从而有效改善材料的热稳定性,使材料具有较好的高温循环性能,如此使得正极活性材料整体具有较高的容量和能量密度以及较好的高温循环稳定性。此外,该核壳结构的设置还能够减少电解液对内芯中高镍的第一正极材料的侵蚀,进一步改善材料的稳定性。
可以理解地,所述第一正极材料的通式Lia1Nib1M1c1O2中的“M1c1”可以包括传统元素与稳定结构元素两部分,其中稳定结构元素可以人为添加,也可以是烧结过程中,中间层、壳层中的元素可能扩散形成。其中,传统元素包括Mn和Co中的一种或多种,稳定结构元素包括Al、Mg、Ti、Zr和W中的一种或多种。
具体地,c2与c1的差值(c2-c1)包括但不限于:0.05、0.08、0.1、0.11、0.12、0.13、0.14、0.15、0.16、0.18、0.2、0.25、0.3或前述任两者之间的范围。进一步地,c2和c1满足:0.05≤c2-c1≤0.3。
在其中一些示例中,所述第二正极材料中,0.6≤b2≤0.92。具体地,b2的取值包括但不限于:0.6、0.65、0.7、0.72、0.75、0.8、0.82、0.85、0.9、0.92或前述任两者之间的范围。
在其中一些示例中,所述第二正极材料中,0.05≤c2≤0.4。具体地,c2的取值包括但不限于:0.05、0.1、0.15、0.18、0.2、0.25、0.28、0.3、0.35、0.4或前述任两者之间的范围。

本申请的另一示例还提供一种正极活性材料的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
按照通式Lia1Nib1M1c1O2混合Ni盐、M1的盐和第一溶剂,制备第一前驱体溶液;

采用所述第一前驱体溶液和第二前驱体溶液通过沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体;

在其中一些示例中,所述的正极活性材料的制备方法,还包括按照通式Lia3Nib3M2c3M3d3O2混合Ni盐、M2的盐、M3的盐和第三溶剂,制备第三前驱体溶液,以及将所述第三前驱体溶液与所述第一前驱体溶液和第二前驱体溶液通过沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体的步骤。

不作限制地,Ni盐、M1的盐、M2的盐、M3的盐、M4的盐等可以采用相应元素的硫酸盐、硝酸盐、氯化物、氟化物、草酸盐和醋酸盐中的一种或多种。

以下适当参照附图对本申请的二次电池和用电装置进行说明。
通常情况下,二次电池包括正极极片、负极极片、电解质和隔离膜。在电池充放电过程中,活性离子在正极极片和负极极片之间往返嵌入和脱出。电解质在正极极片和负极极片之间起到传导离子的作用。隔离膜设置在正极极片和负极极片之间,主要起到防止正负极短路的作用,同时可以使离子通过。
正极极片包括正极集流体以及设置在正极集流体至少一个表面的正极膜层,所述正极膜层包括正极活性材料。
作为非限制性示例,正极集流体具有在其自身厚度方向相对的两个表面,正极活性材料层设置在正极集流体相对的两个表面的其中任意一者或两者上。
在一些实施方式中,所述正极集流体可采用金属箔片或复合集流体。例如,作为金属箔片,可采用铝箔。复合集流体可包括高分子材料基层和形成于高分子材料基层至少一个表面上的金属层。复合集流体可通过将金属材料形成在高分子材料基材上而获得。所述正极集流体中,该金属材料的非限制性示例可以包括铝、铝合金、镍、镍合金、钛、钛合金、银及银合金等中的一种或多种。所述正极集流体中,该高分子材料基材的非限制性示例可以包括聚丙烯(PP)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)、聚苯乙烯(PS)、聚乙烯(PE)等基材中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,正极活性材料可采用本领域公知的用于电池的正极活性材料。作为非限制性示例,正极活性材料可包括以下材料中的一种或多种:橄榄石结构的含锂磷酸盐、锂过渡金属氧化物及其各自的改性化合物。但本申请并不限定于这些材料,还可以使用其他可被用作电池正极活性材料的传统材料。这些正极活性材料可以仅单独使用一种,也可以将两种以上组合使用。其中,锂过渡金属氧化物的示例可包括但不限于锂钴氧化物(如LiCoO2)、锂镍氧化物、锂锰氧化物、锂镍钴氧化物、锂锰钴氧化物、锂镍锰氧化物、锂镍钴锰氧化物、锂镍钴铝氧化物及其改性化合物等中的一种或多种。橄榄石结构的含锂磷酸盐的非限制性示例可包括但不限于磷酸铁锂、磷酸铁锂与碳的复合材料、磷酸锰锂、磷酸锰锂与碳的复合材料、磷酸锰铁锂、磷酸锰铁锂与碳的复合材料中一种或多种。锂钴氧化物的非限制性示例可以包括LiCoO2;锂镍氧化物的非限制性示例可以包括LiNiO2;锂锰氧化物的非限制性示例可以包括LiMnO2、LiMn2O4等;锂镍钴锰氧化物的非限制性示例可以包括LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2(也可以简称为NCM333)、LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2(也可以简称为NCM523)、LiNi0.5Co0.25Mn0.25O2(也可以简称为NCM211)、LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2(也可以简称为NCM622)、LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2(也可以简称为NCM811)等。锂镍钴铝氧化物的非限制性示例可以包括LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O2。
在其中一些实施例中,正极活性材料层还可选地包括粘结剂。作为非限制性示例,粘结剂可以包括聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)、聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)、偏氟乙烯-四氟乙烯-丙烯三元共聚物、偏氟乙烯-六氟丙烯-四氟乙烯三元共聚物、四氟乙烯-六氟丙烯共聚物及含氟丙烯酸酯树脂中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,正极活性材料层还可选地包括导电剂。作为非限制性示例,导电剂可以包括超导碳、乙炔黑、炭黑、科琴黑、碳点、碳纳米管、石墨烯及碳纳米纤维中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,可以通过以下方式制备正极极片:将上述用于制备正极极片的组分,例如正极活性材料、导电剂、粘结剂和任意其他的组分分散于溶剂中,形成正极浆料;将正极浆料涂覆在正极集流体的至少一侧表面上,经烘干、冷压等工序后,即可得到正极极片。溶剂的种类可以选自但不限于前述实施方式中的任一种,例如N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)。正极浆料所涂覆的正极集流体表面可以为正极集流体的单个表面上,也可以为正极集流体的两个表面上。正极浆料所涂覆的正极集流体表面可以为正极集流体的单个表面上,也可以为正极集流体的两个表面上。正极浆料的固含量可以为40wt%~80wt%。正极浆料在室温下的粘度可以调整到5000mPa·s~25000mPa·s。涂覆正极浆料时,以干重计(扣除溶剂)的涂布单位面密度可以为15mg/cm2~35mg/cm2。正极极片的压实密度可以为3.0g/cm3~3.6g/cm3,可选为3.3g/cm3~3.5g/cm3。
负极极片包括负极集流体以及设置在负极集流体至少一个表面上的负极活性材料层,负极活性材料层包括负极活性材料。
作为非限制性示例,负极集流体具有在其自身厚度方向相对的两个表面,负极活性材料层设置在负极集流体相对的两个表面中的任意一者或两者上。
在其中一些实施例中,负极集流体可采用金属箔片或复合集流体。例如,作为金属箔片,可以采用铜箔。复合集流体可包括高分子材料基层和形成于高分子材料基材至少一个表面上的金属层。复合集流体可通过将金属材料形成在高分子材料基材上而获得。所述负极集流体中,该金属材料的非限制性示例可以包括铜、铜合金、镍、镍合金、钛、钛合金、银及银合金等中的一种或多种。所述负极集流体中,该高分子材料基材的非限制性示例可以包括聚丙烯(PP)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)、聚苯乙烯(PS)、聚乙烯(PE)等基材中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,负极活性材料可采用本领域公知的用于电池的负极活性材料。作为非限制性示例,负极活性材料可包括以下材料中的一种或多种:人造石墨、天然石墨、软炭、硬炭、硅基材料、锡基材料和钛酸锂等。硅基材料可以包括单质硅、硅氧化合物、硅碳复合物、硅氮复合物以及硅合金中的一种或多种。锡基材料可以包括单质锡、锡氧化合物以及锡合金中的一种或多种。但本申请并不限定于这些材料,还可以使用其他可被用作电池负极活性材料的传统材料。这些负极活性材料可以仅单独使用一种,也可以将两种以上组合使用。
在其中一些实施例中,负极活性材料层还可选地包括粘结剂。粘结剂可以包括丁苯橡胶(SBR)、聚丙烯酸(PAA)、聚丙烯酸钠(PAAS)、聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)、聚乙烯醇(PVA)、海藻酸钠(SA)、聚甲基丙烯酸(PMAA)及羧甲基壳聚糖(CMCS)中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,负极活性材料层还可选地包括导电剂。导电剂可以包括超导碳、乙炔黑、炭黑、科琴黑、碳点、碳纳米管、石墨烯及碳纳米纤维中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,负极活性材料层还可选地包括其他助剂,例如增稠剂(如羧甲基纤维素钠(CMC-Na))等。
在其中一些实施例中,可以通过以下方式制备负极极片:将上述用于制备负极极片的组分,例如负极活性材料、导电剂、粘结剂和任意其他组分分散于溶剂(溶剂的非限制性示例如去离子水)中,形成负极浆料;将负极浆料涂覆在负极集流体的至少一侧表面上,经烘干、冷压等工序后,即可得到负极极片。负极浆料所涂覆的负极集流体表面可以为负极集流体的单个表面上,也可以为负极集流体的两个表面上。负极浆料的固含量可以为40wt%~60wt%。负极浆料在室温下的粘度可以调整到2000mPa·s~10000mPa·s。涂覆负极浆料时,以干重计(扣除溶剂)的涂布单位面密度可以为75g/m2~220g/m2。负极极片的压实密度可以为1.0g/cm3~1.8g/cm3。
电解质具有在正极极片和负极极片之间传导离子的作用。本申请对电解质的种类没有特别的限制,可根据需求进行选择。例如,电解质可以是液态的、凝胶态的或全固态的。
在一些实施方式中,所述电解质采用电解液。所述电解液包括电解质盐和溶剂。
在其中一些实施例中,电解质盐可以包括六氟磷酸锂(LiPF6)、四氟硼酸锂(LiBF4)、高氯酸锂(LiClO4)、六氟砷酸锂(LiAsF6)、双氟磺酰亚胺锂(LiFSI)、双三氟甲磺酰亚胺锂(LiTFSI)、三氟甲磺酸锂(LiTFS)、二氟磷酸锂(LiPO2F2)、二氟草酸硼酸锂(LiDFOB)、二草酸硼酸锂(LiBOB)、二氟二草酸磷酸锂(LiDFOP)及四氟草酸磷酸锂(LiTFOP)中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,溶剂可以包括碳酸乙烯酯(EC,)、碳酸丙烯酯(PC,)、碳酸甲乙酯(EMC)、碳酸二乙酯(DEC)、碳酸二甲酯(DMC)、碳酸二丙酯(DPC)、碳酸甲丙酯(MPC)、碳酸乙丙酯(EPC)、碳酸丁烯酯氟代碳酸乙烯酯(FEC)、甲酸甲酯、乙酸甲酯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸丙酯、丙酸甲酯、丙酸乙酯、丙酸丙酯、丁酸甲酯、丁酸乙酯、1,4-丁内酯、环丁砜、二甲砜、甲乙砜及二乙砜中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,电解液还可选地包括添加剂。例如添加剂可以包括负极成膜添加剂、正极成膜添加剂,还可以包括能够改善电池某些性能的添加剂,例如改善电池过充性能的添加剂、改善电池高温或低温性能的添加剂等。
在一些实施方式中,电解液中的添加剂可以包括但不限于氟代碳酸乙烯酯(FEC)、二氟碳酸乙烯酯(DFEC)、三氟甲基碳酸乙烯酯(TFPC)等中的一种或多种。
在其中一些实施例中,二次电池中还包括隔离膜。本申请对隔离膜的种类没有特别的限制,可以选用任意公知的具有良好的化学稳定性和机械稳定性的多孔结构隔离膜。
在其中一些实施例中,隔离膜的材质可以包括玻璃纤维、无纺布、聚乙烯、聚丙烯及聚偏二氟乙烯中的一种或多种。隔离膜可以是单层薄膜,也可以是多层复合薄膜,没有特别限制。在隔离膜为多层复合薄膜时,各层的材料可以相同或不同,没有特别限制。
在一些实施方式中,所述隔离膜的厚度为6μm~40μm,可选为12μm~20μm。
在其中一些实施例中,正极极片、负极极片和隔离膜可通过卷绕工艺或叠片工艺制成电极组件。
在其中一些实施例中,二次电池可包括外包装。该外包装可用于封装上述电极组件及电解质。
在其中一些实施例中,二次电池的外包装可以是硬壳,例如硬塑料壳、铝壳、钢壳等。二次电池的外包装也可以是软包,例如袋式软包。软包的材质可以是塑料,进一步地,塑料的非限制性示例可以包括聚丙烯、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯以及聚丁二酸丁二醇酯等中的一种或多种。
二次电池中包括至少一个电池单体。二次电池可以包括1个或多个电池单体。
在本申请中,如无其他说明,“电池单体”指能够实现化学能和电能相互转化的基本单元,进一步地,通常而言至少包括正极极片、负极极片和电解质。在电池充放电过程中,活性离子在正极极片和负极极片之间往返嵌入和脱出。电解质在正极极片和负极极片之间起到传导活性离子的作用。
本申请对电池单体的形状没有特别的限制,其可以是圆柱形、方形或其他任意的形状。例如,图1是作为一个示例的方形结构的二次电池1。
在其中一些实施例中,参照图2,外包装可包括壳体11和盖板13。其中,壳体11可包括底板和连接于底板上的侧板,底板和侧板围合形成容纳腔。壳体11具有与容纳腔连通的开口,盖板13能够盖设于开口,以封闭容纳腔。正极极片、负极极片和隔离膜可经卷绕工艺或叠片工艺形成电极组件12。电极组件12封装于容纳腔内。电解液浸润于电极组件12中。二次电池1所含电极组件12的数量可以为一个或多个,本领域技术人员可根据实际需求进行选择。
二次电池可以为电池模块或电池包。
电池模块包括至少一个电池单体。电池模块所含电池单体的数量可以为一个或多个,本领域技术人员可根据电池模块的应用和容量选择合适的数量。
在电池模块中,多个电池单体可以是沿电池模块的长度方向依次排列设置。当然,也可以按照其他任意的方式进行排布。进一步可以通过紧固件将该多个电池单体进行固定。
可选地,电池模块还可以包括具有容纳空间的外壳,多个电池单体容纳于该容纳空间。
在其中一些实施例中,上述电池模块还可以组装成电池包,电池包所含电池模块的数量可以为一个或多个,本领域技术人员可根据电池包的应用和容量选择合适的数量。
在电池包中可以包括电池箱和设置于电池箱中的多个电池模块。电池箱包括上箱体和下箱体,上箱体能够盖设于下箱体,并形成用于容纳电池模块的封闭空间。多个电池模块可以按照任意的方式排布于电池箱中。
另外,本申请还提供一种用电装置,用电装置包括本申请提供的二次电池。二次电池可以用作用电装置的电源,也可以用作用电装置的能量存储单元。用电装置可以包括移动设备、电动车辆、电气列车、船舶及卫星、储能系统等,但不限于此。其中,移动设备例如可以是手机、笔记本电脑等;电动车辆例如可以是纯电动车、混合动力电动车、插电式混合动力电动车、电动自行车、电动踏板车、电动高尔夫球车、电动卡车等,但不限于此。
作为用电装置,可以根据其使用需求来选择二次电池。
图3是作为一个示例的用电装置2。该用电装置为纯电动车、混合动力电动车、或插电式混合动力电动车等。为了满足该用电装置对二次电池的高功率和高能量密度的需求,可以采用电池包或电池模块。
作为另一个示例的装置可以是手机、平板电脑、笔记本电脑等。该装置通常要求轻薄化,可以采用二次电池作为电源。
为了使本申请所解决的技术问题、技术方案及有益效果更加清楚,以下将结合实施例和附图对本申请进行进一步详细说明。显然,所描述的实施例仅仅是本申请一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。以下对至少一个示例性实施例的描述实际上仅仅是说明性的,决不作为对本申请及其应用的任何限制。基于本申请中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有付出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其他实施例都属于本申请保护的范围。
实施例中未注明具体技术或条件的,按照本领域内的文献所描述的技术或条件或者按照产品说明书进行。所用试剂或仪器未注明生产厂商者,均为可以通过市购获得的常规产品。
实施例1
本实施例为正极活性材料的制备,步骤如下:
(1)将六水合硫酸镍、七水合硫酸钴、一水合硫酸锰按照90:6:4的摩尔比混合并溶解于纯水中,得到镍离子、钴离子、锰离子的总浓度为2mol/L的第一前驱体盐溶液。
(2)将六水合硫酸镍、一水合硫酸锰按照80:20的摩尔比混合并溶解于纯水中,得到镍离子、锰离子的总浓度为2mol/L的第二前驱体盐溶液。
(3)将六水合硫酸镍、一水合硫酸锰、硫酸锆按照85:10:5的摩尔比混合并溶解于纯水中,得到镍离子、锰离子、锆离子的总浓度为2mol/L的第三前驱体盐溶液。
(4)在100L的反应釜中加入20L的纯水,开启搅拌,保持温度为50℃,加入适量的沉淀剂溶液(4mol/L的NaOH水溶液),调节反应釜中溶液的pH为10~13。
(5)在搅拌的条件下,向反应釜中以一定的速率加入第一前驱体盐溶液、沉淀剂溶液(4mol/L的NaOH水溶液)、络合剂溶液(2mol/L的氨水溶液),以使盐溶液在沉淀剂和络合剂存在的条件下发生共沉淀反应,反应期间保持反应釜中氨水浓度及pH不变,直至反应釜内颗粒Dv50粒径达到设定值。
(6)随后停止泵入第一前驱体盐溶液,向反应釜中以一定的速率加入第三前驱体盐溶液、沉淀剂溶液(4mol/L的NaOH水溶液)、络合剂溶液(2mol/L的氨水溶液),保持反应釜中氨水浓度及pH不变,直至反应釜内颗粒Dv50粒径达到设定值。
(7)随后停止泵入第二前驱体盐溶液,向反应釜中以一定的速率加入第二前驱体盐溶液、沉淀剂溶液(4mol/L的NaOH水溶液)、络合剂溶液(2mol/L的氨水溶液),保持反应釜中氨水浓度及pH不变,直至反应釜内颗粒Dv50粒径达到设定值。反应一段时间后,经离心,洗涤,过滤,干燥,得到所述三元正极材料前驱体。
(8)将三元正极材料前驱体与锂源Li2CO3充分混合后,在空气气氛中,于500℃下煅烧5h,随后在700℃下煅烧12h,得到正极活性材料。其中,锂源中Li元素的摩尔量与三元正极材料前驱体中金属元素的总摩尔量之比为1.02:1。
实施例2-5的正极活性材料的制备同实施例1,主要区别在于:改变第一正极材料和/或第二材料的种类,以改变c2与c1的差值。
实施例6-9的正极活性材料的制备同实施例1,主要区别在于:采用不同的第一正极材料和/或第二材料。
实施例10-14的正极活性材料的制备同实施例1,主要区别在于:改变壳层的厚度,同时控制中间层厚度和核壳颗粒Dv50基本不变。
实施例15的正极活性材料的制备同实施例1,主要区别在于:未进行步骤(7),即未设置中间层,同时控制壳层厚度和核壳颗粒Dv50基本不变。
实施例16-18的正极活性材料的制备同实施例1,主要区别在于:改变第三正极材料的种类。

制备实施例1
1)正极极片的制备
将制备实施例1的正极活性材料、导电炭黑SP及粘结剂PVDF按照重量比98:1:1分散至溶剂NMP中进行混合均匀,得到正极浆料;将正极浆料均匀涂布于正极集流体铝箔的双侧表面上,经烘干、冷压后,得到正极极片,其中双侧的单位面积的涂覆量为0.27g/1540.25mm2。
2)负极极片的制备
将负极活性材料石墨、增稠剂羧甲基纤维素钠、粘接剂丁苯橡胶、导电剂乙炔黑,按照质量比97:1:1:1进行混合,加入去离子水,在真空搅拌机作用下获得负极浆料;将负极浆料均匀涂覆在铜箔的双侧表面上;将铜箔在室温晾干后转移至120℃烘箱干燥1h,然后过冷压、分切得到负极片,其中双侧的单位面积的涂覆量为0.17g/1540.25mm2。
3)隔离膜
选用12μm厚的聚丙烯隔离膜。
4)电解液的制备
有机溶剂为含有碳酸亚乙酯(EC)、碳酸甲乙酯(EMC)和碳酸二乙酯(DEC)的混液,其中,EC、EMC和DEC的体积比为20:20:60。在含水量<10ppm的氩气气氛手套箱中,将充分干燥的锂盐LiPF6溶解于有机溶剂中,混合均匀,获得电解液。其中,锂盐的浓度为1mol/L。
5)电池的制备
将正极片、隔离膜、负极片按顺序叠好,使隔离膜处于正、负极片之间起到隔离的作用,再卷绕成方形的裸电芯后,装入铝塑膜,然后在80℃下烘烤除水后,注入10g相应的非水电解液、封口,经静置、热冷压、化成、夹具、分容等工序后,得到容量为4000mAh的成品电池。
制备实施例2-25的二次电池和对比例1-2的二次电池与制备实施例1的二次电池制备方法相似,但是使用对应的实施例的正极活性材料。

测试例:
(1)放热温度DSC测试
1、将全电池以0.33C满充至4.25V,在4.25V下恒压充电至电流≤0.05mA,随后将电池拆解取出正极片;
2、室内环境下称量空坩埚重量(默认为高压密封坩埚);
3、坩埚和正极片样品转移至手套箱,极片冲切圆片(直径5mm),放入坩埚;
4、滴加电解液;
5、坩埚密封,转移出手套箱,称重,两次质量差再减去基材重量后为样品重量;
6、测试,测试温度范围为35℃~1000℃,温升速率为10℃/min。
(2)全电25/45℃循环性能测试
在25℃或者45℃的恒温环境下,在2.8~4.25V下,按照1C充电至4.25V,然后在4.25V下恒压充电至电流≤0.05mA,静置5min,然后按照1C放电至2.8V,容量记为Dn(n=0、1、2……),重复前面过程,直至容量衰减到80%。
测试结果如下表3所示:

通过实施例和对比例之间的比较可知,本申请通过合理设置各层的正极材料,能够实现更好的常温和高温循环性能,且材料热稳定性更好。进一步地,通过实施例1与实施例15之间的比较可知,通过设置中间层,能够进一步提升常温和高温循环性能,且材料热稳定性更好。
以上所述实施例的各技术特征可以进行任意的组合,为使描述简洁,未对上述实施例中的各个技术特征所有可能的组合都进行描述,然而,只要这些技术特征的组合不存在矛盾,都应当认为是本说明书记载的范围。
以上所述实施例仅表达了本申请的几种实施方式,其描述较为具体和详细,但并不能因此而理解为对发明专利范围的限制。应当指出的是,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本申请构思的前提下,还可以做出若干变形和改进,这些都属于本申请的保护范围。因此,本申请专利的保护范围应以所附权利要求为准。
Claims (17)
- 一种正极活性材料,包括核壳颗粒,所述核壳颗粒包括内芯和壳层,所述内芯包含第一正极材料,所述壳层包含第二正极材料;所述第一正极材料包括通式为Lia1Nib1M1c1O2的材料,M1包括Mn、Co、Al、Mg、Ti、Zr和W中的一种或多种,0.9≤a1≤1.2,b1+c1=1;所述第二正极材料包括通式为Lia2Nib2M2c2O2的材料,M2包括Mn、Al、Sr、Nb和Y中的一种或多种,0.9≤a2≤1.2,b2+c2=1;其中,c2和c1满足:c2-c1≥0.05。
- 根据权利要求1所述的正极活性材料,其中,c2和c1满足:0.05≤c2-c1≤0.3。
- 根据权利要求1或2所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述第二正极材料满足如下特征中的一种或多种:(1)0.6≤b2≤0.92;(2)0.05≤c2≤0.4;(3)0.9≤a2≤1.02。
- 根据权利要求1~3任一项所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述第一正极材料满足如下特征中的一种或多种:(1)0.8≤b1≤1;(2)0≤c1≤0.2;(3)0.95≤a1≤1.05。
- 根据权利要求1~4任一项所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述壳层的厚度为0.1μm~3μm。
- 根据权利要求1~5任一项所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述核壳颗粒还包括设置于所述内芯和壳层之间的中间层,所述中间层包含第三正极材料,所述第三正极材料包括通式为Lia3Nib3M2c3M3d3O2的材料,M3包括Zr、Ti、W、Mo、Ta、Sn、Se和Sb中的一种或多种,0.9≤a3≤1.2,b3+c3+d3=1。
- 根据权利要求6所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述第三正极材料满足如下特征中的一种或多种:(1)0.8≤b3≤0.9;(2)0≤c3≤0.1;(3)0.02≤d3≤0.1。
- 根据权利要求6或7所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述中间层的厚度为0.1μm~1μm。
- 根据权利要求1~8任一项所述的正极活性材料,其中,所述核壳颗粒的Dv50为6μm~15μm。
- 权利要求1~9任一项所述的正极活性材料的制备方法,包括如下步骤:按照通式Lia1Nib1M1c1O2混合Ni盐、M1的盐和第一溶剂,制备第一前驱体溶液;按照通式Lia2Nib2M2c2O2混合Ni盐、M2的盐和第二溶剂,制备第二前驱体溶液;采用所述第一前驱体溶液和第二前驱体溶液通过沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体;将所述前驱体与锂盐进行混合,烧结,制备所述正极活性材料。
- 根据权利要求10所述的正极活性材料的制备方法,其中,还包括按照通式Lia3Nib3M2c3M3d3O2混合Ni盐、M2的盐、M3的盐和第三溶剂,制备第三前驱体溶液,以及将所述第三前驱体溶液与所述第一前驱体溶液和第二前驱体溶液通过沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体的步骤。
- 根据权利要求10或11所述的正极活性材料的制备方法,其中,沉淀法制备所述核壳颗粒的前驱体具有如下特征中的一项或多项:(1)采用的沉淀剂包括氢氧化钠、碳酸钠、碳酸钾和氢氧化钾中的一种或多种;(2)采用的络合剂包括氨水、氯化铵、硫酸铵、尿素、柠檬酸和乙二胺四乙酸中的一种或多种;(3)反应pH控制为11~14;(4)反应温度为40℃~80℃。
- 根据权利要求10~12任一项所述的正极活性材料的制备方法,其中,烧结具有如下特征中的一项或多项:(1)烧结温度为400℃~800℃;(2)烧结时间为8h~18h;(3)升温速率为0.5℃/min~5℃/min;(4)气氛为空气或O2氛围。
- 一种正极极片,包括权利要求1~9任一项所述的正极活性材料和权利要求10~13任一项所述的制备方法制备得到的正极活性材料中的一种或多种。
- 一种二次电池,包括权利要求14所述的正极极片。
- 根据权利要求15所述的二次电池,所述二次电池为圆柱型电池。
- 一种用电装置,包括权利要求14所述的正极极片和权利要求15~16任一项所述的二次电池中的一种或多种。
