[課題]インバータへ伝わる振動を低減させる。 [解決手段]ユニットは、ギヤ収容室内に収容された遊星歯車機構と、インバータ収容室内に収容されたインバータと、前記遊星歯車機構のリングギヤと前記ギヤ収容室の内壁とを接続する接続部と、を有し、径方向から見た場合において、前記インバータ収容室は前記ギヤ収容室とオーバーラップし、回転軸方向から見た場合において、前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心と、前記インバータ収容室と前記ギヤ収容室との境界部の全域と、の間に、前記接続部が配置されていない。

Description

ユニット
 本発明は、ユニットに関する。
 特許文献1、2には、遊星歯車機構を有する電気自動車用のドライブユニットが開示されている。
国際公開第2021/137281号 特開2011-252532号公報
 上記のようなユニットでは、インバータ収容室は、ギヤ収容室と径方向にオーバーラップしないように配置することが多い。しかしながら、インバータ収容室を、ギヤ収容室と径方向にオーバーラップさせて配置する場合もある。この場合は、遊星歯車機構で発生した振動が、リングギヤとギヤ収容室との接続部、及び、インバータ収容室とギヤ収容室との境界部を介して、インバータへ伝達される。
 本発明は、このような技術的課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、インバータへ伝わる振動を低減させることを目的とする。
 本発明のある態様によれば、ユニットは、ギヤ収容室内に収容された遊星歯車機構と、インバータ収容室内に収容されたインバータと、前記遊星歯車機構のリングギヤと前記ギヤ収容室の内壁とを接続する接続部と、を有し、径方向から見た場合において、前記インバータ収容室は前記ギヤ収容室とオーバーラップし、回転軸方向から見た場合において、前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心と、前記インバータ収容室と前記ギヤ収容室との境界部の全域と、の間に、前記接続部が配置されていない。
 上記態様では、リングギヤにおけるインバータ収容室から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータへ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。

 以下、添付図面を参照しながら本発明の実施形態について説明する。本明細書においては、全体を通じて、同一の要素には同一の符号を付する。
 <第1実施形態>
 図1は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るユニット100のスケルトン図である。
 図1に示すように、ユニット100は、ケース1と、インバータ2と、モータ3と、モータ3の出力回転を減速して差動機構4に入力する遊星歯車機構5と、駆動軸としてのドライブシャフトD1、D2と、を有する。
 ユニット100では、モータ3の回転軸X回りの出力回転の伝達経路に沿って、遊星歯車機構5と、差動機構4と、ドライブシャフトD1、D2と、が設けられている。モータ3、遊星歯車機構5、差動機構4、及び、ドライブシャフトD1、D2の回転中心は、回転軸Xである。
 ユニット100では、モータ3の出力回転が、遊星歯車機構5で減速されて差動機構4に入力された後、ドライブシャフトD1、D2を介して、ユニット100が搭載された車両の左右の駆動輪Wに伝達される。
 ケース1は、一つ以上の部材から構成される。ケース1は、インバータ2、モータ3、及び、差動機構4や遊星歯車機構5等の動力伝達機構を、その内部に収容する。ケース1は、車両に対して回転不能に固定される。
 インバータ2は、ケース1のインバータ収容室20に収容される。インバータ収容室20は、径方向視において、少なくともギヤ収容室17とオーバーラップするように設けられる。本実施形態では、インバータ2及びインバータ収容室20は、径方向視において、モータ3、差動機構4、遊星歯車機構5、及び、モータ3のモータシャフト31を支持するモータベアリング7、8とオーバーラップしている。
 「所定方向視において要素Aと要素Bがオーバーラップする」とは、所定方向(軸方向、径方向、重力方向等)に要素Aと要素Bが並び、所定方向から観察した場合に要素Aと要素Bが少なくとも部分的に重畳する状態を指す。「所定方向視において要素Aと要素Bがオーバーラップする」は、「所定方向に要素Aと要素Bがオーバーラップする」と同義である。
 これに対し、「所定方向視において要素Aと要素Bがオーバーラップしない」とは、所定方向(軸方向、径方向、重力方向、車両走行方向等)に要素Aと要素Bが並んでおらず、所定方向から観察した場合に要素Aと要素Bが重畳する部分を有さない状態を指す。「所定方向視において要素Aと要素Bがオーバーラップしない」は、「所定方向に要素Aと要素Bがオーバーラップしない」と同義である。
 モータ3は、ケース1のモータ収容室11に収容される。モータ3は、インバータ2を介してユニット100外のバッテリ(図示せず)と電気的に接続されており、バッテリから電力供給を受けて電動機として機能する。また、モータ3は発電機として機能することもできる。
 モータ3は、ロータ32と、ステータ33と、を有する。ロータ32は、モータシャフト31を有する。ロータ32は、モータベアリング7、8を介してケース1に支持されている。ステータ33は、複数のボルト9によってモータ収容室11の内壁に締結固定されている。
 モータベアリング8は、ベアリングリテーナ10によって支持されている。ベアリングリテーナ10は、複数のボルト12によってモータ収容室11の内壁に締結固定されている。ベアリングリテーナ10は、モータベアリング7にも適用可能である。ベアリングリテーナ10は、モータベアリング7、8のいずれか一方に適用してもよいし、両方に適用してもよい。
 遊星歯車機構5は、ケース1のギヤ収容室17に収容される。遊星歯車機構5は、サンギヤSと、複数のステップドピニオンギヤ(以下、単にピニオンギヤという。)Pと、複数のピニオンギヤPを回転自在に支持するキャリヤCと、リングギヤRと、を有するステップドピニオン遊星歯車機構である。
 サンギヤSは複数のピニオンギヤP(ラージピニオン)と噛合っており、複数のピニオンギヤP(スモールピニオン)はリングギヤRと噛合っている。ピニオンギヤPの数は適宜設定される。遊星歯車機構5は、ステップドピニオン遊星歯車機構であってもよいし、シングルピニオン遊星歯車機構であってもよいし、ダブルピニオン遊星歯車機構であってもよい。
 サンギヤSは、モータシャフト31と接続されている。リングギヤRは、ケース1に固定されている。キャリヤCは、差動機構4と接続されている。また、キャリヤCは、キャリヤベアリング13、14を介してケース1に支持されている。
 図2は、遊星歯車機構5周辺を図1の矢印IIの方向に見た模式図である。図2では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。
 図2に示すように、ユニット100は、ケース1の外壁に設けられた複数のマウント部材15を有する。複数のマウント部材15は、ケース1と車両の車体300とを接続する。複数のマウント部材15の数は適宜設定される。図2に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。
 インバータ収容室20は、ケース1の外壁側に形成された複数の取付部18を介して、ボルト締結によりギヤ収容室17と接続される。
 また、ユニット100は、遊星歯車機構5のリングギヤRとギヤ収容室17の内壁とを接続する接続部を有する。すなわち、リングギヤRは、接続部によってギヤ収容室17の内壁に固定される。接続部は、例えば、図2に示すように、スプライン構造50として形成することができる。
 スプライン構造50は、リングギヤRの外周に形成された複数のスプライン歯51と、ギヤ収容室17の内壁に形成された複数のスプライン溝52と、を有する。
 ところで、本実施形態では、図1に示すように、インバータ収容室20を、ギヤ収容室17と径方向にオーバーラップさせて配置している。この場合は、遊星歯車機構5で発生した振動が、リングギヤRとギヤ収容室17との接続部、及び、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部を介して、インバータ2へ伝達される。
 そこで、図2に示す例では、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心(回転軸X)と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、接続部としてのスプライン構造50を配置しないようにしている。図2に示す例では、境界部は、取付部18の基部領域である。境界部は、スプライン構造50からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達経路を構成する。
 つまり、リングギヤRの外周にはスプライン構造50が存在しない非接続部としての欠歯部53が形成されており、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。言い換えると、インバータ収容室20とリングギヤRとが径方向にオーバーラップしている場合、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心から径方向外周を見たときに、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域が、接続部とオーバーラップしない状態になっている。なお、スプライン構造50における隣接するスプライン歯51の間の間隔(周方向長さ)は欠歯部53の周方向長さよりも小さい。つまり、スプライン構造50における隣接するスプライン歯51の間は欠歯部53ではない。
 非接続部(欠歯部53)は、境界部の位置、数、及び、範囲を考慮して適宜設けることができる。図2に示す例では、欠歯部53が1つ設けられている。
 以上説明したように、本実施形態のユニット100では、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 そして、接続部がスプライン構造50として形成される場合は、スプライン構造50を設けない欠歯部53を形成することにより、上記構造を提供することができる。
 次に、第1実施形態に係るユニット100の第1変形例について説明する。
 図3は、第1実施形態に係るユニット100の第1変形例を示す図である。図3では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。図3に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。また、欠歯部53の数は1つである。
 図3に示す例では、図2に示す例と同様に、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。
 このように、図3に示す例においても、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 図3に示す例では、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心に対してインバータ収容室20が配置された側(図3において、回転軸Xを通る一点鎖線よりも上側)を第1側とし遊星歯車機構5の回転中心に対してインバータ収容室20が配置されていない側(図3において、回転軸Xを通る一点鎖線よりも下側)を第2側とした場合において、第1側と第2側との双方にスプライン構造50が配置されている点が図2に示す例と相違する。図2に示す例では、スプライン構造50が第2側のみに配置されている。
 遊星歯車機構5の振動の影響を考えた場合は、図2に示す例のように第2側のみに接続部を設けることが好ましいが、図3に示す例のように、境界部とオーバーラップせず、且つ、振動の影響が少ない範囲において第1側にも接続部を設けることによって、リングギヤRの支持性能と振動低減との両立を図ることができる。
 次に、第1実施形態に係るユニット100の第2変形例について説明する。
 図4は、第1実施形態に係るユニット100の第2変形例を示す図である。図4では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。図4に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。また、欠歯部53の数は1つである。
 図4に示す例では、図2に示す例と同様に、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。
 このように、図4に示す例においても、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 また、図4に示す例では、図3に示す例と同様に、第1側と第2側との双方にスプライン構造50が配置されている。
 よって、リングギヤRの支持性能と振動低減との両立を図ることができる。
 ここで、振動低減を図るという観点からは、第1側におけるスプライン構造50は、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部(取付部18)と、ピニオンギヤPの公転中心(回転軸X)と、を通る境界線(二点鎖線)で形成されるV字の領域の外側に配置されることが好ましく、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部よりも外側(2本の点線の外側)に配置されることがより好ましい。
 図4に示す例では、第1側におけるスプライン構造50は、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部よりも外側(2本の点線の外側)に配置されている。
 また、図4に示す例では、遊星歯車機構5は、3つのピニオンギヤPを有し、欠歯部53の配置角度αは、3つのピニオンギヤPにおける最小の配置角度β以下である。
 「欠歯部53の配置角度」とは、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、欠歯部53とスプライン構造50との2つの境界点(欠歯部53の周方向における両端)と、を結んで形成される三角形のうち、回転中心を頂点とする頂点の角度を意味する。
 「ピニオンギヤPの配置角度」とは、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、一のピニオンギヤPとリングギヤRとの噛合いの頂点と、一のピニオンギヤPと隣接する他のピニオンギヤPとリングギヤRとの噛合いの頂点と、を結んで形成される三角形のうち、回転中心を頂点とする頂点の角度を意味する。
 「ピニオンギヤPの最小の配置角度」とは、複数のピニオンギヤPが等間隔で並んでいる場合は隣接するピニオンギヤPの配置角度は全て同一且つ全て最小と評価できる。「ピニオンギヤPの最小の配置角度」は、複数のピニオンギヤPが非等間隔で並んでいる場合は隣接するピニオンギヤPの配置角度のうちで最小のものを意味する。
 ピニオンギヤPの公転中において、ピニオンギヤPが欠歯部53と対向する位置にいる場合と、ピニオンギヤPがスプライン構造50と対向する位置にいる場合と、を比較すると、スプライン構造50と対向する位置にいる場合の方がピニオンギヤPの支持性能が高い。そのため、ピニオンギヤPの公転中はできる限り多くのピニオンギヤPがスプライン構造50と対向する位置にいるようになっていると好ましい。
 そのため、上記のように配置角度α、βを設定すると隣接する2つのピニオンギヤPが同時に1つの欠歯部53と対向することがなくなり、公転中のピニオンギヤPの支持性能の低下を抑制することができるようになる。
 図4に示す例では、3つのピニオンギヤPが周方向に等間隔で並んでいる。よって、欠歯部53の配置角度αは、360/3[°]以下である。このように、N個のピニオンギヤPが周方向に等間隔で並んでいる場合は、欠歯部53の配置角度αを360/N[°]以下とすることで、公転中のピニオンギヤPの支持性能の低下を抑制することができる。
 次に、第1実施形態に係るユニット100の第3変形例について説明する。
 図5は、第1実施形態に係るユニット100の第3変形例を示す図である。図5では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。図5に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。また、欠歯部53の数は1つである。
 図5に示す例では、インバータ収容室20が、ギヤ収容室17と一体形成されている。その他の構成は図4に示す例と同じである。
 図5に示す例では、図2に示す例と同様に、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。図5に示す例では、境界部は、インバータ収容室20の底面及び両側壁端までの全領域である。
 このように、図5に示す例においても、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 また、図5に示す例では、図3に示す例と同様に、第1側と第2側との双方にスプライン構造50が配置されている。
 よって、リングギヤRの支持性能と振動低減との両立を図ることができる。
 図5に示す例では、振動低減を図るという観点からは、第1側におけるスプライン構造50は、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部(インバータ収容室20の底面及び両側壁端までの全領域)と、ピニオンギヤPの公転中心(回転軸X)と、を通る境界線(二点鎖線)で形成されるV字の領域の外側に配置されることが好ましく、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部よりも外側(2本の点線の外側)に配置されることがより好ましい。
 図5に示す例では、第1側におけるスプライン構造50は、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部よりも外側(2本の点線の外側)に配置されている。
 また、図5に示す例では、遊星歯車機構5は、3つのピニオンギヤPを有し、欠歯部53の配置角度αは、3つのピニオンギヤPにおける最小の配置角度β以下である。
 よって、隣接する2つのピニオンギヤPが同時に1つの欠歯部53と対向することがなく、公転中のピニオンギヤPの支持性能の低下を抑制することができる。
 <第2実施形態>
 続いて本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。
 図6は、本発明の第2実施形態に係るユニット200のスケルトン図である。図6に示すように、第2実施形態のユニット200では、遊星歯車機構5のリングギヤRとギヤ収容室17の内壁とを接続する接続部が、締結部材としてのボルト16を介してリングギヤRとギヤ収容室17の内壁とを接続する締結構造60として形成されている。その他の構成は第1実施形態のユニット100と同じである。
 「締結構造」とは、リングギヤRの外壁から突出する突起部及び/又はギヤ収容室17の内壁から突出する突起部等であり、当該突起部に締結部材(例えば、ボルト等)を挿入することによりリングギヤRとギヤ収容室17とが接続される。
 図7は、遊星歯車機構5周辺を図6の矢印VIIの方向に見た模式図である。図7では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。図8は、締結構造60の第1態様について説明するための図である。図9は、締結構造60の第2態様について説明するための図である。図10は、締結構造60の第3態様について説明するための図である。
 ユニット200では、マウント部材15の数及びピニオンギヤPの数は適宜設定される。図7に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。
 図7に示す例では、締結構造60は、リングギヤRの外壁から突出する2つの突起部61である。突起部61に設けられた孔にボルト16を挿通させてギヤ収容室17に形成されためねじにボルト16を締結することで、リングギヤRとギヤ収容室17とが接続される。
 締結構造60は、図7、図8に示すように、リングギヤRの外壁から突出する突起部61であってもよいし、図9に示すように、ケース1の内壁から突出する突起部62であってもよいし、図10に示すように、ケース1の内壁から突出する突起部64及びリングギヤRの外壁から突出する突起部63であってもよい。図10に示す例では、突起部64にめねじが形成されているが、突起部63にめねじが形成されてもよい。
 図7に示す例では、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、接続部としての締結構造60を配置しないようにしている。
 つまり、リングギヤRの外周には締結構造60が存在しない非接続部としての欠歯部53が形成されており、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。言い換えると、インバータ収容室20とリングギヤRとが径方向にオーバーラップしている場合、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心から径方向外周を見たときに、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域が、接続部とオーバーラップしない状態になっている。
 非接続部(欠歯部53)は、境界部の位置、数、及び、範囲を考慮して適宜設けることができる。図7に示す例では、欠歯部53が2つ設けられている。
 このように、図7に示す例では、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 そして、接続部が締結構造60として形成される場合は、締結構造60を設けない欠歯部53を形成することにより、上記構造を提供することができる。
 次に、第2実施形態に係るユニット200の第1変形例について説明する。
 図11は、第2実施形態に係るユニット200の第1変形例を示す図である。図11では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。図11に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。
 図11に示す例では、締結構造60は、リングギヤRの外壁から突出する3つの突起部61である。また、欠歯部53の数は3つである。
 図11に示す例では、図7に示す例と同様に、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。
 このように、図11に示す例においても、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 接続部が締結構造60として形成される場合は、図11に示す例のように、リングギヤRとギヤ収容室17とが接続される接続点(突起部61)を3点以上とすることが好ましい。また、3点目は第2側に設けることが好ましい。
 これにより、リングギヤRの支持性能向上を図ることができる。
 ここで、リングギヤRの支持性能向上を図るという観点からは、複数の接続点を、周方向に等間隔で配置することが好ましい。一方、振動低減を図るという観点からは、図12に示すように、第1側における接続点は、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部(取付部18)と、ピニオンギヤPの公転中心(回転軸X)と、を通る境界線(二点鎖線)で形成されるV字の領域の外側に配置されることが好ましく、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部よりも外側(2本の点線の外側)に配置されることがより好ましい。
 図12は、第2実施形態に係るユニット200の第2変形例を示す図である。図12では、理解を容易にするために一部の構成を省略している。図12に示す例では、マウント部材15の数は2つである。また、遊星歯車機構5のピニオンギヤPの数は3つである。
 図12に示す例では、締結構造60は、リングギヤRの外壁から突出する3つの突起部61である。また、欠歯部の数は3つである。
 図12に示す例では、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との接合部よりも外側(2本の点線の外側)において、できるだけ周方向等間隔に近い配置となるように、複数の接続点を配置している。
 これにより、リングギヤRの支持性能と振動低減との両立を図ることができる。
 また、図示はしないが、接続部が締結構造60として形成される場合は、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、締結構造60が設けられていない非接続部としての欠歯部53を配置するとともに、その他の領域に複数の締結構造60を隙間なく設けてもよい。
 この場合は、接続部以外の構成について、接続部がスプライン構造50として形成される場合と同様の構成を採用でき、同様の作用効果を得ることができる。
 なお、第2実施形態に係るユニット100においても、第1実施形態に係るユニット100と同様に、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17とが一体形成されていてもよい。
 以下、本発明の実施形態に係るユニット100、200の主な作用効果についてまとめて説明する。
 (1)ユニット100、200は、ギヤ収容室17内に収容された遊星歯車機構5と、インバータ収容室20内に収容されたインバータ2と、遊星歯車機構5のリングギヤRとギヤ収容室17の内壁とを接続する接続部(スプライン構造50、締結構造60)と、を有し、径方向から見た場合において、インバータ収容室20はギヤ収容室17とオーバーラップし、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心(回転軸X)と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、接続部が配置されていない。
 これによれば、リングギヤRにおけるインバータ収容室20から最も近い位置には、接続部が配置されていない。これにより、接続部からインバータ収容室20までの振動伝達の距離を長くすることができる。よって、インバータ2へ伝わる振動を低減させることができる。
 (2)ユニット100では、接続部は、ギヤ収容室17の内壁と噛合うスプライン構造50として形成され、リングギヤRの外周にはスプライン構造50が存在しない欠歯部53が形成され、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心(回転軸X)と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。
 接続部がスプライン構造50として形成される場合は、スプライン構造50を設けない欠歯部53を形成することにより、上記構造を提供することができる。
 (3)ユニット200では、接続部は、ボルト16を介してギヤ収容室17の内壁と接続する締結構造60として形成され、リングギヤRの外周には締結構造60が存在しない欠歯部53が形成され、回転軸X方向から見た場合において、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心(回転軸X)と、インバータ収容室20とギヤ収容室17との境界部の全域と、の間に、欠歯部53が配置されている。
 接続部が締結構造60として形成される場合は、締結構造60を設けない欠歯部53を形成することにより、上記構造を提供することができる。
 (4)遊星歯車機構5は、リングギヤRと噛合うピニオンギヤPを複数有し、欠歯部53の配置角度αは、複数のピニオンギヤPにおける最小の配置角度β以下である。
 これによれば、隣接する2つのピニオンギヤPが同時に1つの欠歯部53と対向することがなく、公転中のピニオンギヤPの支持性能の低下を抑制することができる。
 (5)ユニット100、200では、遊星歯車機構5の回転中心(回転軸X)に対してインバータ収容室20が配置された側を第1側とし遊星歯車機構5の回転中心に対してインバータ収容室20が配置されていない側を第2側とした場合において、第1側と第2側との双方に接続部(スプライン構造50、締結構造60)が配置されている。
 遊星歯車機構5の振動の影響を考えた場合は、第2側のみに接続部を設けることが好ましいが、境界部とオーバーラップせず、且つ、振動の影響が少ない範囲において第1側にも接続部を設けることによって、リングギヤRの支持性能と振動低減との両立を図ることができる。
 以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、上記実施形態は本発明の適用例の一部を示したに過ぎず、本発明の技術的範囲を上記実施形態の具体的構成に限定する趣旨ではない。
 例えば、図2~図5、図7、図11、図12において、複数のピニオンギヤPは、周方向に等間隔で並んでいる。しかしながら、複数のピニオンギヤPは、周方向に非等間隔で並んでいてもよい。

Claims (5)

  1.  ギヤ収容室内に収容された遊星歯車機構と、
     インバータ収容室内に収容されたインバータと、
     前記遊星歯車機構のリングギヤと前記ギヤ収容室の内壁とを接続する接続部と、
    を有し、
     径方向から見た場合において、前記インバータ収容室は前記ギヤ収容室とオーバーラップし、
     回転軸方向から見た場合において、前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心と、前記インバータ収容室と前記ギヤ収容室との境界部の全域と、の間に、前記接続部が配置されていない、
    ユニット。
  2.  請求項1に記載のユニットであって、
     前記接続部は、前記ギヤ収容室の内壁と噛合うスプライン構造として形成され、
     前記リングギヤの外周には前記スプライン構造が存在しない非接続部が形成され、
     前記回転軸方向から見た場合において、前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心と、前記インバータ収容室と前記ギヤ収容室との前記境界部の全域と、の間に、前記非接続部が配置されている、
    ユニット。
  3.  請求項1に記載のユニットであって、
     前記接続部は、締結部材を介して前記ギヤ収容室の内壁と接続する締結構造として形成され、
     前記リングギヤの外周には前記締結構造が存在しない非接続部が形成され、
     前記回転軸方向から見た場合において、前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心と、前記インバータ収容室と前記ギヤ収容室との前記境界部の全域と、の間に、前記非接続部が配置されている、
    ユニット。
  4.  請求項2又は請求項3に記載のユニットであって、
     前記遊星歯車機構は、前記リングギヤと噛合うピニオンギヤを複数有し、
     前記非接続部の配置角度は、複数の前記ピニオンギヤにおける最小の配置角度以下である、
    ユニット。
  5.  請求項1に記載のユニットであって、
     前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心に対して前記インバータ収容室が配置された側を第1側とし前記遊星歯車機構の回転中心に対して前記インバータ収容室が配置されていない側を第2側とした場合において、前記第1側と前記第2側との双方に前記接続部が配置されている、
    ユニット。
