- B 0.01-30% by mass of an ester oil selected from pentaerythritol fatty acid esters and dipentaerythritol fatty acid esters that are liquid at 25°C
- C 0.01-20% by mass of a film-forming agent
- D 1-20% by mass
- the present invention aims to improve the above situation, and its purpose is to provide an oil-based cosmetic composition and a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic composition in which the dispersion of the surface-treated pigment particles contained therein is ensured while bleeding of the pigment particles is suppressed (i.e., excellent oil resistance).
- the present invention which achieves the above objective, is as follows:
- the composition of claim 1, wherein the ester compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of diglyceryl tetraisostearate, diglyceryl triisostearate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl dilaurate, glyceryl triisostearate, decaglyceryl monoisostearate, and decaglyceryl diisostearate.
- Aspect 3 3.

- Aspect 6 Aspect 6.
- Aspect 7 A cosmetic preparation for eyelashes or eyebrows, comprising the composition according to any one of Aspects 1 to 6.
- Aspect 10 A foundation comprising the composition according to any one of the preceding aspects.
- the present invention can provide an oil-based cosmetic composition and a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic composition that are excellent in oil resistance while ensuring the dispersibility of the surface-treated pigment particles that are incorporated.
- composition of the present invention comprises An oil-based cosmetic composition or a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic composition, As an oil phase component, (A) surface-treated pigment particles; (B) a silicone-based film-forming agent; and (C) an oil component, the surface-treated pigment particles are surface-treated with an ester compound of a fatty acid having 8 to 20 carbon atoms and glycerin, and the oil component includes at least one of a volatile oil component and a non-volatile oil component. It is a composition.
- an oil-based cosmetic composition refers to a cosmetic composition having a single oil phase.
- an oil-based cosmetic composition may contain a small or appropriate amount of water or aqueous components (for example, 5.0% by mass or less, 2.0% by mass or less, 1.0% by mass or less, 0.5% by mass or less, 0.1% by mass or less, 0.01% by mass or less, or 0.001% by mass or less relative to the entire composition).
- the oil phase components refer to the components that constitute the oil phase, and when the composition of the present invention is a water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic composition, the oil phase components constitute the external phase.
- composition of the present invention is able to suppress bleeding of the pigment particles while ensuring the dispersibility of the surface-treated pigment particles contained therein, i.e., it has excellent oil resistance. Without being limited by theory, this is believed to be due to the following reasons.
- a cosmetic composition containing surface-treated pigment particles, a silicone-based film-forming agent, and oil is applied to an object (e.g., skin, eyelashes, etc.), after the volatilizable components in the composition (e.g., volatile oil, water, etc.) have evaporated, a film of the oil phase components formed by the silicone-based film-forming agent is formed on the surface of the object, and the surface-treated pigment particles are considered to be trapped in the film.
- the surface-treated pigment particles in the silicone-based film-forming agent for example, it is considered to use pigment particles surface-treated with a silicone-based surface-treating agent that is thought to be compatible with the silicone-based film-forming agent.
- the inventors then conducted further intensive research and discovered that rather than simply increasing the dispersibility of the surface-treated pigment particles in the silicone-based film-forming agent, it was possible to suppress bleeding of the surface-treated pigment particles from the silicone-based film-forming agent by adjusting the dispersibility to an appropriate level. More specifically, by deliberately selecting pigment particles that have been treated with a specific non-silicone surface treatment agent for the silicone-based film-forming agent, it was possible to suppress bleeding of the pigment particles from the silicone-based film-forming agent while ensuring a certain degree of dispersibility.
- the inventors were able to obtain a composition of the present invention that has excellent oil resistance while ensuring the dispersibility of the surface-treated pigment particles.
- the composition of the present invention contains surface-treated pigment particles as an oil phase component.
