Definitions
- the present invention relates to a surface protection film.
- a surface protective film is generally applied to the exposed surfaces of the optical and electronic components to prevent the surfaces of the optical and electronic components from being damaged during processing, assembly, inspection, transportation, etc.
- Such a surface protective film is peeled off from the optical and electronic components when surface protection is no longer necessary (Patent Document 1).
- the film When peeling a surface protection film from an optical or electronic component to which it is attached, the film must be able to peel off smoothly only at the interface between the film and the optical or electronic component, i.e., it must have easy peelability.
- Patent Documents 2 and 3 As a means of imparting easy peelability to a surface protection film, a technique of adding a fluorine-based compound or a silicone-based compound to an adhesive composition that forms the adhesive that constitutes the adhesive layer has been reported (Patent Documents 2 and 3).
- Patent Documents 2 and 3 such conventional additives for imparting easy peelability tend to be unevenly distributed not only on the surface side of the adhesive layer but also on the substrate side, resulting in a problem of reduced anchoring strength between the substrate and the adhesive layer.
