Finally, the negative electrode sheet is obtained through striping and cutting processes.
- Polypropylene film is used as the isolation film.
- the positive electrode sheet, the separator, and the negative electrode sheet are stacked in order, so that the separator is between the positive and negative electrode sheets to play an isolating role, and then they are wound to obtain an electrode assembly; the electrode assembly is placed in an outer package, and the prepared electrolyte is injected into the dried sodium ion battery. After vacuum packaging, standing, forming, and shaping processes, a sodium ion battery is obtained.
- Example 2 The preparation methods of the sodium ion batteries of Examples 2-35 and Comparative Example 1 are the same as that of Example 1, except that the compositions of the prepared positive electrode active materials are different, as shown in Table 1.
- Conductive agent carbon black (Super P) and binder styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) were mixed uniformly in a proper amount of deionized water as a solvent at a mass ratio of 1.5:1.5 to obtain a negative electrode slurry.
- the negative electrode slurry was coated on both sides of the negative electrode collector copper foil, and a negative electrode active material layer was formed on both sides of the negative electrode collector through drying and cold pressing. Finally, the negative electrode was obtained through striping and cutting processes. The remaining steps such as the preparation of the positive electrode, electrolyte, isolation membrane and sodium ion battery were the same as those in Example 1.
- the XRD comparison diagram of the positive electrode active materials of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 is shown in Figure 9.
- the peak positions of the XRD diagrams of the positive electrode active materials of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 are the same as those of the XRD diagram of the positive electrode active material of Comparative Example 1, indicating that coating the first coating layer on the outer surface of the inner core of Example 1 does not destroy the lattice structure of the inner core material, and because the amount of the first coating is small, the characteristic peak of the coating layer material does not appear in the XRD diffraction peak.
- Na 4 R 3 (PO 4 ) 2 P 2 O 7 material is mixed with glucose and sintered. The temperature is raised to 550°C in nitrogen as a protective gas and kept warm for 4 hours. As non-carbon elements in glucose are removed, a second carbon-containing coating layer is formed on the surface of the core material. The core forming the second coating layer is placed in anhydrous ethanol solvent and mixed evenly. Titanium dioxide sol is added, wherein the mass ratio of Na 4 R 3 (PO 4 ) 2 P 2 O 7 material to the solvent is 80:200. A rotary evaporator is used to vacuum evaporate the solvent (80°C).
- the material is then washed with a suction filtration device, the filter cake is dried in a vacuum oven, and the powder material is then calcined at 300°C in a nitrogen atmosphere for 6 hours. After natural cooling, a first coating layer including titanium dioxide is formed on the surface of the second coating layer, i.e., the positive electrode active material.
- Example 38-44 and Comparative Example 2 The preparation methods of the sodium ion batteries of Examples 38-44 and Comparative Example 2 are the same as that of Example 37, except that the compositions of the prepared positive electrode active materials are different, as shown in Table 2.
- Conductive agent carbon black (Super P) and binder styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) are mixed evenly in a proper amount of solvent deionized water at a mass ratio of 1.5:1.5 to obtain a negative electrode slurry.
- the negative electrode slurry is coated on both sides of the negative electrode collector copper foil.
- a negative electrode active material layer is formed on both sides of the negative electrode collector through drying and cold pressing.
- the negative electrode sheet is obtained through striping and cutting processes. The remaining steps such as the preparation of the positive electrode sheet, electrolyte, isolation membrane and sodium ion battery are the same as those in Example 37.
- the positive electrode active material was exposed to room temperature (humidity was about 10%), and the water content of the positive electrode active material was tested at 0 min and 60 min respectively.
- the specific test method can refer to the GB/T 11133-2015 test method.
- the ambient temperature was controlled at 25°C.
- the battery was charged to 3.65V at 1C, then charged to 0.05C at a constant voltage, left to stand for 10 minutes, and then discharged to 1.5V at 1C.
- the discharge capacity was recorded as C 0 .
- 300 cycles were performed according to the above charge and discharge process.
- the discharge capacity at the 300th cycle was C 1 .
- the cycle capacity retention rate of the battery cell C 1 /C 0 *100%.
