- the reinforcing member 130 is used to strengthen the strength of the retaining wall 113.
- the strength of the reinforcing member 130 is greater than the strength of the plastic part 110. It can be understood here that the strength of the material of the reinforcing member 130 is greater than the strength of the material of the plastic part 110. Therefore, the strength of the front end of the main body is greater than the strength of its rear end.
- the end of the main body close to the tongue portion 112 can be considered as the front end of the main body, that is, the position where the retaining wall 113 is located can be considered as the front end of the main body.

- the first extension portion 131 reinforces the retaining wall 113
- the second extension portion 132 reinforces the seat body portion 111, so this solution can further improve the strength of the main body, thereby further avoiding the risk of deformation of the main body.
- the connector 100 may further include a shielding shell 140, at least a portion of which may cover the seat body 111, and the shielding shell 140 and the tongue portion 112 may be respectively located on both sides of the retaining wall 113.
- the shielding shell 140 provides a signal shielding function, thereby avoiding the risk of the performance of the connector 100 being reduced due to electromagnetic influence of the components embedded in the main body.
- the shielding shell 140 is also used to achieve the connection and grounding between the connector 100 and the device body of the electronic device.
- the shielding shell 140 can be provided with attachment ears on both sides, and the shielding shell 140 can be connected to the device body of the electronic device through the attachment ears on both sides.
- the device body here can be understood as the housing of the electronic device.
- the seat body 111 has a first surface 1101, and the retaining wall 113 protrudes from the first surface 1101 along the thickness direction of the connector 100.

- the second distance L may be smaller than the first distance H.
- the second distance L can be considered to be the wall thickness of the shielding shell 140.
- the second distance L is the sum of the width of the gap and the thickness of the shielding shell 140.
- the second distance L is smaller than the first distance H, so the stacking thickness of the shielding shell 140 and the seat body 111 is smaller than the height of the baffle wall 113, so the shielding shell 140 does not protrude from the baffle wall 113.
- a certain space can be avoided between the shielding shell 140 and the baffle wall 113, and this part of the space can be fully utilized by other components of the electronic device, which is more conducive to reducing the thickness of the entire electronic device.
- the reinforcing member 130 can be connected to the shielding shell 140.
- the reinforcing member 130 is connected to the shielding shell 140, so that the connection strength of the reinforcing member 130 can be increased, thereby making the connection strength of the reinforcing member 130 higher.
- the reinforcing member 130 is connected to the shielding shell 140, so that the reinforcing member 130 and the shielding shell 140 are connected to form a whole, so that the front end and the rear end of the connector 100 have better connection strength, thereby further improving the overall strength of the connector 100.
- the shielding shell 140 and the second extension portion 132 can be connected by bolts, rivets and other components.
- corresponding connection holes need to be provided on the base portion 111, the shielding shell 140 and the second extension portion 132, which is relatively difficult.
- the second extension portion 132 is extended from the edge of the first extension portion 131 in the direction toward the shielding shell 140, and at least a portion of the second extension portion 132 can be exposed on the surface of the base portion 111, where the surface of the base portion 111 can be understood as the first surface 1101.
- the second extension portion 132 can be welded to the shielding shell 140.
- at least a portion of the second extension portion 132 is exposed on the surface of the base portion 111, so that the second extension portion 132 and the shielding shell 140 are welded more conveniently, thereby making the assembly of the connector 100 simpler and more convenient.
- welding the second extension portion 132 to the shielding shell 140 can further improve the assembly strength of the connector 100 , thereby improving the safety and reliability of the connector 100 .
- the end of the second extension portion 132 away from the first extension portion 131 may have a first edge, and the first edge may be provided with a plurality of notches 1321, and the plurality of notches 1321 are arranged at intervals along the extension direction of the first edge.
- the extension direction of the first edge here refers to the width direction or the length direction of the second extension portion 132.
- the first edge is provided with a plurality of notches 1321 arranged at intervals, so that the first edge forms a zigzag structure, and the zigzag structure can be filled with more adhesive glue, thereby increasing the bonding area between the second extension portion 132 and the base portion 111, and further improving the bonding strength between the second extension portion 132 and the base portion 111, thereby further improving the assembly strength of the connector 100.
- the seat body 111 may be provided with a glue injection port, and the glue injection port of the seat body 111 is used to inject sealant 150 into the seat body 111.
- the sealant 150 fills the plastic part 110 of the connector 100 to achieve waterproof performance of the connector 100.
- the shielding shell 140 easily blocks the glue injection port. Therefore, in order to avoid the shielding shell 140 blocking the glue injection port, the glue injection port is usually set on the side of the seat body 111 away from the shielding shell 140, that is, the glue injection port is opened on the side surface of the seat body 111 away from the first surface 1101. At this time, when injecting the sealant 150, the seat body 111 needs to be turned over. When connecting the shielding shell 140, the seat body 111 needs to be turned over again. Therefore, the glue dispensing operation of the sealant 150 and the glue dispensing operation of the solder pin tail of the shielding shell 140 need to be completed at two different workstations, which makes the assembly of the connector 100 more difficult.
- one end of the second extension portion 132 facing the first extension portion 131 can enclose a first avoidance hole 1322 with the first extension portion 131.
- the first avoidance hole 1322 can be arranged opposite to the glue injection port.
- the second extension portion 132 and the shielding shell 140 avoid the position of the glue injection port, so that the dispensing direction of the sealant 150 is the same as the dispensing direction of the solder pin tail of the shielding shell 140, so the dispensing process of the two can be completed at the same workstation without flipping the seat body 111, thereby making the assembly difficulty of the connector 100 relatively small.
- the seat body 111 needs to be heated each time glue is dispensed.
- the dispensing of the sealant 150 in the present application and the dispensing of the solder tail of the shielding shell 140 are completed at the same work station, which also avoids the risk of sealing failure caused by multiple heating of the seat body 111.
- first avoidance hole 1322 formed between the second extension portion 132 and the first extension portion 131 can further reduce the weight of the reinforcing member 130, making the connector 100 lighter and more conducive to electrical connection.
- the edge of the shielding shell 140 is extended and bent toward one end of the retaining wall 113 to form the reinforcing piece 130.
- the reinforcing piece 130 and the shielding shell 140 are made by an integrated bending process, so the reinforcing piece 130 is equivalent to the edge of the shielding shell 140 toward one end of the retaining wall 113, and the reinforcing piece 130 and the shielding shell 140 form an integral shell structure, so the strength of the connector 100 can be further improved.
- the reinforcing member 130 and the shielding shell 140 may be first stamped or laser cut out of the outer shape of the plate, and then the reinforcing member 130 may be bent out by a bending process.
- the part inside the seat body 111 is the reinforcing member 130
- the part outside the seat body 111 is the shielding shell 140.
- the end of the shielding shell 140 facing the reinforcing member 130 can be surrounded by the reinforcing member 130 to form a second avoidance hole 146.
- the second avoidance hole 146 can be arranged opposite to the injection port.
- the function of the second avoidance hole 146 in this embodiment is the same as that of the first avoidance hole 1322 in the above embodiment, only the names are different in different schemes.
