Abstract

The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of display devices. Disclosed is an electronic device, which solves the problem of a frame of a display device being wide. A specific solution is as follows: the functions of an existing rear housing and back plate are integrated into a rear housing, so that the area occupied by the existing rear housing in a non-display region is eliminated, thereby reducing the width of the non-display region, and, moreover, the space occupied by the rear housing in a thickness direction is eliminated, thereby reducing the thickness. In addition, a middle frame is connected to an inner side of a frame portion of the rear housing, and is no longer in contact with a top surface of the frame portion, so that the area of an adhesive on the top surface of the frame portion increases, thus reducing the thickness of the middle frame in a situation whereby the bonding strength is the same, and also reducing the width of the non-display region. An outer surface of the back plate is connected to an extension plate, and a flexible printed circuit board is accommodated between the extension plate and the back plate, so that the flexible printed circuit board is not exposed to the surface, thereby achieving an attractive appearance.

This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on October 31, 2022, with application number 202211366591.5 and application name “Electronic Device”, all contents of which are incorporated by reference in this application.
Technical Field
The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of display devices, and in particular, to an electronic device.
Background technique
As the demand for display screens increases in various fields, the size of display screens has also become one of the factors that influence consumers' choices. For example, among in-vehicle display devices, consumers prefer borderless or narrow-border display devices.
At present, the display module is housed in the space surrounded by the back panel and the middle frame. The edge of the display cover is connected to the back panel by adhesive. The thickness of the back panel is directly related to the size of the adhesive area. Simply narrowing the thickness of the back panel may lead to low bonding strength, thereby affecting the mechanical reliability of the display.
Therefore, how to reduce the width of the non-display area while ensuring the mechanical reliability of the display module is a problem that needs to be solved for large-size display screens.
Summary of the invention
An embodiment of the present application provides an electronic device that effectively narrows the width of a non-display area of a display module.
In order to achieve the above objectives, this application adopts the following technical solutions:
In the first aspect, an electronic device is provided, the electronic device comprising a display screen, a printed circuit board assembly, a rear shell, a baffle and a bracket, the display screen comprising a screen cover and a display panel connected to each other; the printed circuit board assembly is electrically connected to the display panel; the rear shell comprises a bottom and a frame, the bottom is opposite to the screen cover, the frame is arranged around the periphery of the bottom, and the bottom and the frame form a mounting groove; the display panel is located in the mounting groove, the end of the frame away from the bottom is connected to the screen cover; the baffle is connected to the side of the bottom away from the screen cover; the bracket is connected to the end of the baffle away from the bottom, and the bracket, the baffle and the bottom together form a receiving cavity; the printed circuit board assembly is located in the receiving cavity. As a result, the electronic device integrates the functions of the existing back plate and the rear shell on the rear shell, provides excellent support for the screen cover, and removes the area of the existing back plate occupying the non-display area, thereby narrowing the width of the non-display area. In addition, the thickness of the electronic device provided in the embodiment of the present application is also reduced accordingly, reducing the space occupied by the electronic device.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable methods, the electronic device further includes: an epitaxial plate, one end of which is connected to the baffle, and the other end of which extends to an end of the frame away from the bottom, the epitaxial plate and the frame forming a channel, the channel communicating with the accommodating cavity; the printed circuit board assembly includes a flexible circuit board electrically connected to the display panel; the flexible circuit board is located in the channel. Thus, the epitaxial plate embeds the flexible circuit board, preventing the flexible circuit board from being exposed on the surface of the electronic device, reducing the probability of the flexible circuit board being damaged, and in addition, the aesthetics of the electronic device can be improved.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the end surface of the extension plate away from the baffle is coplanar with the end surface of the frame away from the bottom; the end surface of the extension plate away from the baffle is connected to the screen cover. Thus, the end surface of the extension plate away from the baffle can support the display screen, thereby increasing the support strength of the electronic device for the display screen.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the end surface of the frame away from the bottom has a groove, the end of the epitaxial plate away from the baffle is located in the groove and connected to the groove, and the channel is connected to the groove. Thus, the groove can avoid the end of the epitaxial plate, avoiding the epitaxial plate from protruding from the surface of the frame to a large extent, thereby reducing the increment of the width of the non-display area caused by the existence of the epitaxial plate.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the epitaxial plate and the bracket are integrally formed, thereby increasing the strength of the epitaxial plate and the bracket, improving the supporting performance of the bottom, and optimizing the mechanical performance of the electronic device.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the accommodating cavity is a sealed cavity, so that the sealed cavity has waterproof and dustproof properties, reducing the influence of the environment outside the accommodating cavity on the printed circuit board assembly in the accommodating cavity.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable ways, the electronic device further comprises: a middle frame, the middle frame is located in the installation slot, a card slot is provided on the inner side of the frame, and the middle frame is connected to the card slot. The top surface of the frame may not be in contact with the middle frame, and the entire top surface of the frame may be used to connect the display screen. Therefore, under the premise of the same supporting strength, the thickness of the frame may be reduced, which may further reduce Width of the non-display area.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the frame portion has a stepped surface on the inner side, the middle frame is connected to the stepped surface, and the slot is located on the side of the stepped surface away from the bottom. Thus, the stepped surface can improve the support performance of the frame portion to the middle frame, which can assist the connection strength of the slot to the connection portion, thereby improving the support capacity of the frame portion to the middle frame.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the step surface is provided with a first positioning portion, the middle frame is provided with a second positioning portion, and the first positioning portion is connected to the second positioning portion. In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the inner side of the frame portion includes a first area and a second area, the projection of the display panel on the inner side of the frame portion is located in the first area, and the middle frame is connected to the second area. Thus, when the electronic device is viewed directly from the light emitting side of the screen cover, the electronic device will not appear in the field of vision, which can improve the aesthetics.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the end surface of the frame away from the bottom plate is connected to the screen cover plate via an adhesive layer, thereby shortening the distance between the display panel and the frame and reducing the width of the non-display area.
In combination with the first aspect, in some achievable manners, the projection of the baffle on the surface of the screen cover and the projection of the rear shell on the surface of the screen cover are both located inside the screen cover. Thus, the display area of the display device is relatively large, and the space can be fully utilized.
In combination with the first aspect, in some practicable manners, the material of the rear housing is metal. Therefore, the metal material has good supporting strength and provides excellent mechanical properties for the display screen.

The embodiment of the present application provides an electronic device. The electronic device may be a vehicle-mounted display device, a tablet computer, a mobile phone, an e-reader, a remote controller, a personal computer (PC), a laptop computer, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a vehicle-mounted device, an Internet TV, a wearable device, a television, and other products with a display interface, as well as smart display wearable products such as smart watches and smart bracelets. The embodiment of the present application does not impose any special restrictions on the form of the above-mentioned electronic devices. The following description takes a vehicle-mounted display device as an example.
FIG1 is a schematic diagram of an exploded structure of a vehicle-mounted display device 01 provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG1 , the vehicle-mounted display device 01 includes an electronic device 100 and a carrier 02 , and the carrier 02 is connected to the electronic device 100 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the carrier 02 and the electronic device 100. For example, the carrier 02 and the electronic device 100 may be mechanically connected, electrically connected, etc. For example, the mechanical connection method may be a detachable connection, a fixed connection, a snap connection, a magnetic connection, etc.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the structure of the carrier 02 and is configured according to the specific form of the vehicle-mounted display device 01 .
Exemplarily, the carrier 02 may be a vehicle frame, and the electronic device 100 is connected to the vehicle frame.
Accordingly, the connection between the carrier 02 and the electronic device 100 may be a detachable connection, a fixed connection, etc., which is configured according to the function of the carrier 02 .
The function of the carrier 02 is also set according to the specific form of the vehicle-mounted display device 01. For example, the carrier 02 is used to carry the vehicle-mounted display device 01, or to supply power to the vehicle-mounted display device 01, etc.
The width of the non-display area of the electronic device 100 will affect the size of the vehicle-mounted display device 01 .
For example, under the premise that the size of the electronic device 100 is the same, compared with the vehicle-mounted display device 01 with a smaller width of the non-display area of the electronic device 100, the vehicle-mounted display device 01 with a larger width of the non-display area of the electronic device 100 is obviously larger in overall size, volume and weight.
Thus, in order to reduce the overall size of the vehicle-mounted display device 01 without reducing the size of the display area, reducing the width of the non-display area of the electronic device 100 is an important solution.
017。FIG2 a is a schematic diagram of the internal structure of the display module 010 . In FIG2 a , the display module 010 includes a cover plate 011 , a display panel 012 , a back plate 013 , a middle frame 014 , a rear shell 015 , a bracket 016 and a printed circuit board assembly 017 .
The display panel 012 is connected to the cover plate 011 through an adhesive layer, the rear shell 015 is sleeved outside the back plate 013 , the back plate 013 and the rear shell 015 support the cover plate 011 together, and the bracket 016 is connected to the rear shell 015 .
The back plate 013 includes a substrate 018 and a frame 019 . The frame 019 is disposed around the substrate 018 . The middle frame 014 is connected to the frame 019 .
The bracket 016 , the rear shell 015 and the substrate 018 are together arranged to form a cavity 020 . The printed circuit board assembly 017 is located in the cavity 020 . The printed circuit board assembly 017 is electrically connected to the display panel 012 .
The bracket 016 is used to connect the display module 010 and other devices. For example, in an embodiment where the display module 010 is used for a vehicle-mounted display device, the bracket 016 is connected to the vehicle body.
In FIG. 2 a , the thickness H1 of the display module 010 is the distance between the surface of the cover plate 011 away from the display panel 012 and the surface of the substrate 018 away from the display panel 012 .
The width L of the non-display area of the display module 010 is the distance from the outer edge of the display module 010 to the light-emitting area of the display panel 012 .
L=l0+l1+l2+l3。Figure 2b is a schematic diagram of the internal structure of the non-display area of the display module 010 in Figure 2a. Please refer to Figure 2b. The width L of the non-display area is the sum of the thickness l0 of the back shell 015, the thickness l3 of the frame 019, the distance l2 from the inner edge of the frame 019 to the edge of the display panel 012, and the width l1 of the back glue area of the display panel 012, that is, L=l0+l1+l2+l3.
Among them, reducing the thickness l0 of the rear shell 015 will lead to a reduction in the connection strength between the bracket 016 and the rear shell 015, thereby affecting the supporting strength of the bracket 016 to the back plate 013. Therefore, reducing the thickness l0 of the rear shell 015 is not advisable.
The display panel 012 needs to be connected to the cover plate 011 via adhesive. Reducing the adhesive area width l1 of the display panel 012 will reduce the connection strength between the display panel 012 and the cover plate 011. Therefore, it is not advisable to reduce the adhesive area width l1 of the display panel 012.
l2 is equal to the sum of the wall thickness of the middle frame 014 and the gap width between the middle frame 014 and the display panel 012. Reducing l2 will increase the probability of collision between the display panel 012 and the middle frame 014, and the display panel 012 is easy to be damaged. Therefore, reducing l2 is not advisable.
FIG2c is a schematic diagram of the structure of the end surface of the frame 019 and the middle frame 014. Referring to FIG2c, the top surface of the frame 019 is provided with a first Glue layer 001 , the frame 019 is connected to the cover plate 011 through the first glue layer 001 .
In order to ensure the connection strength between the cover plate 011 and the back plate 013, a first adhesive layer 001 with a larger area is required. Obviously, reducing the thickness l3 of the back plate 013 will reduce the area of the first adhesive layer 001, thereby reducing the connection strength between the cover plate 011 and the back plate 013.
In FIG2 c , a lap joint 002 is provided on the middle frame 014 , and the middle frame 014 is connected to the frame body 019 via the lap joint 002 . The lap joint 002 is provided on the top surface of the frame body 019 .
The first adhesive layer 001 needs to avoid the overlapping portion 002. Obviously, the width of the first adhesive layer 001 is narrowed at the overlapping portion 002. In the area where the width of the first adhesive layer 001 changes, the first adhesive layer 001 is prone to tearing due to stress concentration.
For example, the first adhesive layer 001 in the C1 and C2 regions in FIG2b is easily torn due to stress concentration, thereby reducing the connection strength between the C1 and C2 region cover plates 011 and the back plate 013. Obviously, reducing the thickness l3 of the back plate 013 will aggravate the aforementioned tearing problem.

The top surface of the frame 212 away from the bottom 211 is connected to the display screen 110.
The present application embodiment does not limit the process of the rear shell 210. For example, in a scenario where the mechanical strength of the rear shell 210 is required to be high, the rear shell 210 can be formed by a die-casting process. For example, in an example where the electronic device 100 is used to support a vehicle display screen, the rear shell 210 can be a die-cast plate.
It is understandable that in other embodiments of the present application, the bottom portion 211 and the frame portion 212 may also be manufactured separately and then welded.

Exemplarily, the top surface of the frame portion 212 away from the bottom portion 211 is connected to the display screen 110 via the first adhesive member 101 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the structure of the first adhesive 101. For example, the first adhesive 101 is a back adhesive layer, or the first adhesive 101 is an adhesive layer formed by a dispensing process, or the first adhesive 101 includes a back adhesive layer and an adhesive layer formed by a dispensing process.
In other embodiments of the present application, the first adhesive member 101 may also be other structures. In other words, the frame 212 and the display screen 110 are not limited to being bonded.
The supporting assembly 220 is connected to a side of the bottom portion 211 away from the frame portion 212 .
The support assembly 220 includes a bracket 221 and a baffle 222, the baffle 222 is connected to the bottom 211, the bracket 221 is connected to one end of the baffle 222 away from the bottom 211, the bracket 221, the baffle 222 and the bottom 211 are together arranged to form a accommodating cavity 202, the accommodating cavity 202 is used to accommodate a printed circuit board assembly 230, and the printed circuit board assembly 230 is used to connect the signal with the display screen 110.
In FIG. 3 b , the display screen 110 includes a screen cover 111 and a display panel 112 , and the display panel 112 is connected to the screen cover 111 .
The top surface of the frame portion 212 away from the bottom portion 211 is connected to the display panel 112 , and the display panel 112 is located in the mounting groove.
Exemplarily, the screen cover 111 and the display panel 112 are connected by an adhesive. The printed circuit board assembly 230 is electrically connected to the display panel 112 .
The screen cover 111 is connected to the end surface of the frame 212 away from the bottom 211.
In some embodiments of the present application, the accommodating cavity 202 is a sealed cavity, so that the sealed cavity has waterproof and dustproof properties, which can reduce the impact of the environment outside the accommodating cavity 202 on the printed circuit board assembly 230 in the accommodating cavity 202. It can be understood that in embodiments where the use environment of the electronic device 100 has a small impact on the printed circuit board assembly 230, the accommodating cavity 202 may not be sealed.
FIG3c is a schematic diagram of the internal structure of the electronic device 100 in the non-display area in FIG3b. Referring to FIG3c, the outer surface of the frame portion 212 away from the mounting groove is exposed outside the accommodating cavity 202, and the outer side surface of the frame portion 212 can be the appearance surface of the electronic device 100. The top surface away from the bottom 211 is connected to the first adhesive member 101 .
Please refer to FIG. 2b and FIG. 3c together. The width M of the non-display area in FIG. 3c does not include the thickness l0 of the rear cover 015 in FIG. 2b. The width M of the non-display area reduces the thickness l0 of the rear cover 015 in FIG. 2b, so that the width of the non-display area is reduced.
Please refer to FIG. 3b again. The thickness H2 of the electronic device 100 in the embodiment of the present application is the distance between the surface of the screen cover 111 away from the frame 019 and the surface of the bottom 211 away from the frame 019. Obviously, the thickness H2 of the electronic device 100 in FIG. 3c is less than the thickness H1 of the display module 010 in FIG. 2a. Therefore, the display module 010 in the embodiment of the present application is also thinner in thickness, which is conducive to reducing the size of the electronic device 100.
In the embodiment of the present application, the baffle 222 can provide support for the bottom 211 , the strength of the bracket 221 is transmitted to the rear shell 210 through the baffle 222 , and the baffle 222 increases the rigidity of the bottom 211 , thereby improving the mechanical strength of the rear shell 210 .
Therefore, the electronic device 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application integrates the functions of the existing back panel and rear shell on the rear shell 210, which can provide excellent support for the screen cover 111 while removing the area occupied by the existing back panel in the non-display area, thereby narrowing the width of the non-display area.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the shape and structure of the bracket 221 , and can be designed according to the shape of the printed circuit board assembly 230 .
Similarly, the embodiment of the present application does not limit the shape of the baffle 222 . The baffle 222 is disposed around the printed circuit board assembly 230 and can be arranged according to the shape of the printed circuit board assembly 230 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method of the bracket 221 and the baffle 222. For example, the bracket 221 and the baffle 222 are bonded by glue. Alternatively, the bracket 221 and the baffle 222 can also be connected by welding or the like. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the bracket 221 and the baffle 222 are integrally formed.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the baffle plate 222 and the bottom 211. For example, the baffle plate 222 and the bottom 211 are welded, or the baffle plate 222 and the bottom 211 are bonded by glue.
Alternatively, in some embodiments, the baffle 222 and the rear shell 210 are integrally formed, and the rear shell 210 is further connected to the bracket 221 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the material of the baffle 222. In some embodiments, the baffle 222 is made of metal material, and the metal baffle 222 can provide excellent mechanical properties.
In some embodiments, the printed circuit board assembly 230 includes a flexible printed circuit (FPC) 231 and a printed circuit board (PCB) 232, and the printed circuit board 232 is electrically connected to the display panel 112 through the flexible printed circuit board 231.
One end of the flexible circuit board 231 is located in the accommodating cavity 202 and is electrically connected to the printed circuit board 232 , and the other end of the flexible circuit board 231 bypasses the frame 212 and is signal-connected to the display panel 112 .
In some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 3a and 3b, the support assembly 220 also includes an extension plate 223, which is located on the outside of the frame 212, one end of the extension plate 223 is connected to the baffle 222, and the other end extends to the end surface of the frame 212 away from the bottom 211, the extension plate 223 and the frame 212 are arranged to form a channel 203, and the channel 203 is connected to the accommodating cavity 202, and the channel 203 is for the flexible circuit board 231 to pass through.
In this way, the extension plate 223 and the frame 212 together embed the flexible circuit board 231 to prevent the flexible circuit board 231 from being exposed on the surface of the electronic device 100 , reduce the probability of the flexible circuit board 231 being damaged, and improve the aesthetics of the electronic device 100 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the shape of the epitaxial plate 223 , and can be set according to the shape of the flexible circuit board 231 and the winding path of the flexible circuit board 231 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the epitaxial plate 223 and the bottom 211 , for example, they can be connected by a glue layer, or by welding, etc.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the epitaxial plate 223 and the frame 212 .
FIG4a is a schematic diagram of a connection structure between the extension plate 223 and the frame 212. In FIG4a, the frame 212 has a groove 201, and one end of the extension plate 223 away from the baffle 222 is located in the groove 201, and the extension plate 223 is connected to the groove 201. The channel 203 is connected to the groove 201.
In this way, the flexible circuit board 231 can pass through the channel 203 and the groove 201 to connect with the screen cover 111, which can reduce the wall thickness of the frame 212 at the connection between the extension plate 223 and the frame 212, avoiding the increase of the width of the non-display area corresponding to this position.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the epitaxial plate 223 and the groove 201 . For example, the epitaxial plate 223 and the frame 212 are welded, bonded, or integrally formed.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the shape of the groove 201. For example, in Figure 4a, the groove 201 passes through the inner wall and the outer wall of the frame 212. The flexible circuit board 231 can be connected to the screen cover 111 without bypassing the top of the frame 212, which can save the length of the flexible circuit board 231.
For example, in some embodiments, the groove 201 may not penetrate the inner wall of the frame portion 212 .
In FIG. 4 a , the surface of the epitaxial plate 223 away from the flexible circuit board 231 is coplanar with the outer surface of the frame 212 , which can save space at the connection between the epitaxial plate 223 and the frame 212 .
In some embodiments, a surface of the extension plate 223 away from the baffle 222 is coplanar with a surface of the frame portion 212 away from the bottom 211 .
As described above, the frame 212 is connected to the screen cover 111 through the first adhesive 101, and the surface of the extension plate 223 away from the baffle 222 can support the first adhesive 101, increase the area of the first adhesive 101, and thus increase the bonding strength. In addition, the extension plate 223 can increase the support strength of the screen cover 111.
FIG4b is a schematic diagram of another connection structure between the extension plate 223 and the frame 212. In FIG4b, the extension plate 223 includes a main board 224 and a buckle plate 225. The baffle plate 222 and the frame 212 are connected to the main board 224. The main board 224 and the frame 212 are surrounded by a channel 203. The buckle plate 225 is buckled in the opening of the groove 201 away from the support assembly 220. The surface of the buckle plate 225 is coplanar with the surface of the frame 212.
Thus, the opening of the groove 201 on the outer side of the frame 212 is covered by the main board 224, and the opening of the groove 201 on the surface of the frame 212 away from the bottom 211 is covered by the buckle plate 225. The flexible circuit board 231 passes through the opening of the groove 201 on the inner side of the frame 212 and is connected to the screen cover 111.
Figure 4c is a schematic structural diagram of the extension plate 223 and the first adhesive 101 in Figure 4b. Please refer to Figure 4c and the description in the above Figure 4b. The first adhesive 101 covers the surface of the buckle plate 225 and the surface of the frame 212 away from the bottom 211. The buckle plate 225 provides support for the first adhesive 101 at the position of the groove 201, and fills the gap of the first adhesive 101 at the opening of the groove 201.
In Figure 4c, the buckle plate 225 supports the first adhesive 101 in the B area, improves the problem of sudden size change of the first adhesive 101 in the B area, reduces the internal stress of the first adhesive 101 caused by the sudden size change, alleviates the problem of tearing of the first adhesive 101 in the B area, and improves the supporting strength of the first adhesive 101 to the screen cover 111.
The aforementioned region B is the region of the first adhesive member 101 in the dotted line in FIG. 4 c .
In addition, in the embodiment where the first adhesive member 101 is an adhesive layer formed by a glue dispensing process, the pinch plate 225 can prevent the glue during the glue dispensing process from entering the groove 201, thereby facilitating the removal of excess glue.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the pinch plate 225 and the main board 224. For example, the pinch plate 225 and the main board 224 are integrally formed, and the pinch plate 225 and the main board 224 are formed by bending.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the pinch plate 225 and the groove 201, for example, the pinch plate 225 and the groove 201 are welded, or the pinch plate 225 and the groove 201 are clamped. Alternatively, the pinch plate 225 and the groove 201 may not be connected.
It is understandable that in other embodiments of the present application, the extension plate 223 may not be provided, and the flexible circuit board 231 may be distributed along other paths and connected to the screen cover 111 .
For example, a through hole penetrating the bottom 211 may be provided on the bottom 211, the through hole being connected to the accommodating cavity 202, one end of the flexible circuit board 231 being connected to the printed circuit board 232 located in the accommodating cavity 202, and the other end passing through the through hole being connected to the screen cover 111. In this way, the above-mentioned extension plate 223 may not be provided, which can save space and reduce weight, and the flexible circuit board 231 will not be exposed outside the electronic device 100.
Compared with the width L of the non-display area in FIG. 2b, the width M of the non-display area in FIG. 3c does not include the thickness l0 of the rear case 015 in FIG. 2b, and the width M of the non-display area is reduced.
M。In some embodiments of the present application, the thickness l3 of the frame 019 and the distance l2 from the inner edge of the frame 019 to the edge of the display panel 012 in FIG. 2b may be narrowed to further reduce the width M of the non-display area.
Please refer to FIG. 3 b again. The electronic device 100 further includes a middle frame 240 . The middle frame 240 is located in the installation groove and is connected to the inner side of the frame portion 212 .
The middle frame 240 is a frame structure connected end to end. The cross section of the middle frame 240 is L-shaped. The middle frame 240 extends toward the center of the bottom 211 and can block light from propagating in the depth direction of the rear shell 210.
FIG5 a is a schematic diagram of the connection structure between the frame portion 212 and the middle frame 240 . Referring to FIG5 a , a slot 213 is provided inside the frame portion 212 . The middle frame 240 is connected to the slot 213 .
A connecting portion 241 is provided on one side of the middle frame 240 close to the frame portion 212 . The connecting portion 241 extends into the slot 213 and is connected to the frame portion 212 .
Please refer to Figures 2b, 2c, 3c and 5a together. It can be seen that the top surface of the frame 212 may not contact the middle frame 240, and the entire top surface of the frame 212 can be used to connect the first adhesive 101. Therefore, under the premise of the same bonding strength, the thickness of the frame 212 can be reduced.
M。Therefore, the thickness m3 of the frame portion 212 in FIG. 3 c is smaller than the thickness l3 of the frame body 019 in FIG. 2 b , further reducing the width M of the non-display area.
Please refer to FIG. 2c and FIG. 5a together. In FIG. 5a, the first adhesive 101 on the top surface of the frame portion 212 does not need to avoid the middle frame 240. The shape of the first adhesive 101 can be the same as the end surface of the frame portion 212. The first adhesive 101 has a uniform size and high mechanical strength. This can avoid the problem of tearing of the C1 area and the C2 area shown in FIG. 2c due to stress concentration.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the card slot 213 and the connecting portion 241. For example, in FIG5a, the card slot 213 is connected to the connecting portion 241 by snapping. The snap connection method is easy to assemble, and the connecting portion 241 is a snap-fit structure with low process cost.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the structure of the card slot 213 and the connecting portion 241. The connecting portion 241 is adapted to the shape of the card slot 213 so that the connecting portion 241 is not easily removed from the card slot 213.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the number of the card slots 213. For example, there are multiple card slots 213, and the multiple card slots 213 are spaced apart along the four sides of the bottom 211. The number of connecting parts 241 is the same as the number of card slots 213, and one connecting part 241 is connected to the card slot 213. The frame part 212 and the middle frame 240 have multiple connection points, and the connection between the two is more stable.
In other embodiments of the present application, there may be only one card slot 213 , for example, the card slot 213 extends along the periphery of the bottom 211 and is connected end to end. A plurality of connecting portions 241 may also be connected to the card slot 213 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the outer shape of the frame portion 212. As shown in 3c, the outer side of the frame portion 212 is arc-shaped.
In other embodiments of the present application, the outer shape of the frame 212 may be other shapes. For example, the outer side of the frame 212 may be flat or stepped, and may be set according to the appearance requirements of the electronic device 100. The embodiments of the present application do not limit this.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the inner shape of the frame 212. As shown in FIG3b, the inner side of the frame 212 is in a stepped shape.
In FIG. 5 a , the frame portion 212 includes a first frame 214 and a second frame 215 . The first frame 214 and the second frame 215 are connected, and a step surface 216 is formed at the connection between the first frame 214 and the second frame 215 . The step surface 216 is located on the inner side of the frame portion 212 .
The first frame 214 is connected to the bottom 211 , and the second frame 215 is connected to an end of the first frame 214 away from the bottom 211 . The card slot 213 is located inside the second frame 215 , and the middle frame 240 is connected to the step surface 216 .
The middle frame 240 is connected to the frame portion 212 via the connection portion 241, and the step surface 216 supports the middle frame 240. In this way, the frame portion 212 has multiple support points for the middle frame 240, reducing the probability of deformation of the middle frame 240. In addition, the step surface 216 can prevent the middle frame 240 from detaching in the direction close to the bottom 211 (below in FIG. 5a), thereby increasing the connection strength between the middle frame 240 and the frame portion 212.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the shape of the step surface 216 . For example, the step surface 216 is a plane that is perpendicular to the second frame 215 .
In order to provide a better supporting effect of the step surface 216 on the middle frame 240, the entire step surface 216 is fitted with the middle frame 240, and the step surface 216 and the surface shape of the middle frame 240 in contact therewith are the same. The contact area between the step surface 216 and the middle frame 240 is large, the force on the middle frame 240 is more uniform, and the warping of the middle frame 240 can be avoided.
In other embodiments, the step surface 216 and the middle frame 240 may not be completely in contact with each other. For example, the two may have multiple contact areas.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the step surface 216 and the middle frame 240. As shown in FIG3c , the step surface 216 and the middle frame 240 are connected by the second adhesive 102. The second adhesive 102 has a positioning function for the middle frame 240 to prevent the middle frame 240 and the step surface 216 from moving relative to each other. In addition, the second adhesive 102 can increase the connection strength between the middle frame 240 and the step surface 216.
It should be noted that in the embodiments of the present application, the second adhesive 102 is not necessary. For example, the step surface 216 and the middle frame 240 are connected by welding or other connection methods, or the middle frame 240 is placed on the step surface 216 without other structural connection.
Please refer to Figure 5a. In order to position the middle frame 240 and the frame portion 212 to save assembly time and reduce the relative movement between the middle frame 240 and the frame portion 212, the step surface 216 is provided with a first positioning portion 204 and the middle frame 240 is provided with a second positioning portion 205. The first positioning portion 204 is connected to the second positioning portion 205.
In this way, in the process of connecting the middle frame 240 and the rear shell 210, the first positioning portion 204 and the second positioning portion 205 can be connected to achieve positioning of the two, and then the connecting portion 241 is connected to the card slot 213, which can save the assembly time of the middle frame 240 and the rear shell 210. In addition, the mutual connection between the first positioning portion 204 and the second positioning portion 205 is conducive to the relative fixation of the middle frame 240 and the frame portion 212, and avoids relative movement between the middle frame 240 and the frame portion 212.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the structures of the first positioning portion 204 and the second positioning portion 205 .
FIG5b is a schematic diagram of the cross-sectional structure of the rear housing 210 and the middle frame 240. In FIG5b, the first positioning portion 204 is a protrusion, which is connected to the end of the first frame 214. The second positioning portion 205 is a receiving portion, and the protrusion is located in the receiving portion and connected to the middle frame 240. In this way, the middle frame 240 and the step surface 216 are positioned by the cooperation of the protrusion and the receiving portion.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the shapes of the protrusion and the receiving portion, for example, the protrusion is a prism, and the receiving portion is a structure having a prism-shaped cavity. Alternatively, the protrusion is a special-shaped piece, and the receiving portion is a structure having the ability to accommodate the special-shaped piece.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the relative relationship between the accommodating portion and the middle frame 240 . For example, the accommodating portion passes through two opposite surfaces of the middle frame 240 , or the accommodating portion is a groove structure.
On the contrary, in other embodiments of the present application, the first positioning portion 204 is a receiving portion, and the second positioning portion 205 is a protrusion. Please refer to the above for the specific structure, which will not be repeated here.
In the embodiment of the present application, the arrangement of the first positioning portion 204 and the second positioning portion 205 does not conflict with the arrangement of the second adhesive member 102, and both can be arranged, or one can be arranged selectively. In other words, the middle frame 240 and the frame portion 212 can be connected through the second adhesive member 102 and through the first positioning portion 204 and the second positioning portion 205, or one of the aforementioned connection methods can be selected.
Fig. 5c is a schematic diagram of the structure of the display screen 110, the middle frame 240 and the rear housing 210 provided in an embodiment of the present application. Referring to Fig. 5c, further, the screen cover 111 is connected to the frame 212 through the first adhesive 101.
In some embodiments of the present application, the projection of the rear shell 210 on the surface of the screen cover 111 is located inside the screen cover 111. The projection of the baffle 222 on the surface of the screen cover 111 is located inside the screen cover 111.
In this way, when the electronic device 100 is viewed from the light-emitting side of the screen cover 111 , the rear housing 210 and the baffle 222 will not appear in the field of vision, thereby reducing the width of the non-display area and improving the aesthetics.
The light emitting side of the screen cover 111 is a side of the screen cover 111 away from the display panel 112 .
As shown in FIG. 5 c , the electronic device 100 may further include a light guide plate 140 and a display film 130 . The light guide plate 140 is connected to the bottom 211 , and the display film 130 is connected to the light guide plate 140 .
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the connection method between the light guide plate 140 and the bottom 211 , and the connection method between the display film 130 and the light guide plate 140 . For example, the connection can be made by bonding.
The electronic device 100 may further include a buffer 160, which is connected to the middle frame 240 and is located between the display panel 112 and the middle frame 240. Thus, when the middle frame 240 is deformed, the buffer 160 can buffer the impact of the deformation on the display panel 112.
In the embodiment of the present application, there is a gap between the buffer 160 and the display panel 112. Similarly, the buffer 160 and the display panel 112 are not in direct contact, which can prevent the force of the buffer 160 from being transmitted to the display panel 112 and causing the display panel 112 to break.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the material of the buffer member 160 . Exemplarily, the material of the buffer member 160 is sponge.
There may be a gap 150 between the display panel 112 and the middle frame 240 . When the middle frame 240 is subjected to an external force, the gap 150 may prevent the external force from being transmitted to the display panel 112 and causing the display panel 112 to break.
Please refer to FIG. 5 c again. In some embodiments, the middle frame 240 does not extend into the gap 150 between the display panel 112 and the frame portion 212 .
In other words, the inner side of the frame 212 has a first area D1 and a second area D2, the projection of the display panel 112 on the inner side of the frame 212 is located in the first area D1, and the middle frame 240 is connected to the second area D2. In this way, the width m2 of the gap 150 is the distance between the inner side of the frame 212 and the display panel 112, and m2 does not include the thickness of the middle frame 240. On the basis of the same width of the gap 150, m2 is smaller than l2 in FIG. 2b, thereby further reducing the width of the non-display area M.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the manner in which the middle frame 240 and the second area D2 are connected. For example, the middle frame 240 and the second area D2 are abutted against each other, or the middle frame 240 and the second area D2 are connected via an adhesive.
Therefore, on the basis that the supporting strength of the rear shell 210 for the screen cover 111 remains the same, the electronic device 100 in FIG3c simultaneously reduces the distance m2 from the inner side of the frame 212 to the display panel 112 and the thickness m3 of the frame 212, and the width M of the non-display area is significantly narrowed.
110。The embodiment of the present application completely eliminates the influence of the thickness l0 of the rear shell 015 on the width of the non-display area, and reduces the thickness l3 of the frame 019 and the distance l2 from the inner edge of the frame 019 to the edge of the display panel 012 to varying degrees. As a result, the width M of the non-display area is greatly reduced, so that the electronic device 100 of the same size has a display screen 110 with a larger display area.
It can be understood that the thickness l0 of the rear shell 015 and the thickness l3 of the frame 019 in FIG. 2a are reduced, and the inner edge of the frame 019 is The distance l2 from the edge of the display panel 012 does not affect each other and can be selected according to the situation.
The electronic device 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application can reduce the width M of the non-display area while maintaining the connection strength with the screen cover 111. The space can be fully utilized, especially in the embodiment of the large-sized electronic device 100, the area of the display area is increased to improve the viewing effect.
Likewise, the space of the vehicle-mounted display device 01 provided in the embodiment of the present application is fully utilized, and a larger display area can be provided within the same space, thereby improving the user experience.
