Description

被覆部材を有する飲料容器および飲料製品
　本発明は、被覆部材を有する飲料容器および飲料製品に関する。
　飲料製品の商品価値を構成する要素として、味と香りは極めて重要である。このため、消費者が飲料の香りをより一層楽しめるようにする手段が種々提案されている。たとえば特開２００６－１６８７８８号公報（特許文献１）には、容器の口部に香気成分を封入したマイクロカプセルを付着させてあり、これによって開封時にフレーバーを発する容器が開示されている。また、特開２０２２－６２５０４号公報（特許文献２）には、飲み口と別に香り口を設けた缶蓋が開示されている。

　特許文献１の技術では、陳列時等に香気成分を拡散させない機能を容器の蓋に兼ねさせるべく、香気成分を封入したマイクロカプセルを口部のネジ山に付着させた構成が採用されている。この構成は、マイクロカプセルを口部のネジ山に付着させる工程が煩雑なために、容器および飲料製品の生産性が低下するおそれがあった。また、特許文献２の技術では、飲料自身に由来する香りを消費者に届けやすくなるものの、付加的な香りを提供することはできなかった。
　そこで、比較的簡便な方法で香料を設置できる飲料容器、および当該飲料容器を使用した飲料製品の実現が望まれる。
　本発明に係る飲料容器は、飲料を収容する飲料収容部と、前記飲料収容部の外側において香料を保持する香料保持部と、被覆部材と、を備え、前記飲料収容部に対して、開口を形成可能であり、前記飲料収容部における前記開口が形成される部位および前記香料保持部が、前記被覆部材に覆われていることを特徴とする。
　本発明に係る飲料製品は、上記飲料容器の前記飲料収容部に飲料が収容されていることを特徴とする。
　本発明では、飲料収容部における飲料の密封とは無関係に香料保持部を設け、飲料収容部の開口を形成される部分と香料保持部とを被覆部材で一体に覆うことで香料の拡散を防ぐため、香料収容部の設置場所の自由度が従来技術より高い。これによって、香料収容部の設置のしやすさを考慮した設置場所を選択できるので、飲料容器および飲料製品の生産性が損なわれにくい。また、開封時に香料の密封が解除されるので、飲料を飲もうとした消費者にタイミングよく香りを届けることができる。
　以下、本発明の好適な態様について説明する。ただし、以下に記載する好適な態様例によって、本発明の範囲が限定されるわけではない。
　本発明に係る飲料容器は、一態様として、前記香料保持部が、前記香料が密封されている香料密封部材を含み、前記香料密封部材が前記被覆部材に接続されており、前記被覆部材を取り除くときに、前記香料密封部材の密封が解除されることが好ましい。
　この構成によれば、開封時に香料が解放されるので、飲料を飲もうとした消費者にタイミングよく香りを届けることができる。
　本発明に係る飲料容器は、一態様として、前記被覆部材を取り除くときに、前記開口が形成されるように構成されていることが好ましい。
　この構成によれば、被覆部材の除去と同時に飲料を飲める状態になるので、消費者が飲料を飲みやすい。
　本発明に係る飲料容器は、一態様として、前記飲料収容部が缶であり、前記香料保持部が前記缶の天面に設けられていることが好ましい。
　この構成によれば、本発明を缶入り飲料に好適に適用できる。
　本発明に係る飲料容器は、一態様として、前記香料保持部が、前記香料を含む香料シートを有することが好ましい。
　この構成によれば、一般的に粉体や液体等の形態であることが多い香料をシート部材の形で取り扱うことができるので、香料収容部の取扱性が向上しうる。
　本発明のさらなる特徴と利点は、図面を参照して記述する以下の例示的かつ非限定的な実施形態の説明によってより明確になるであろう。

　本発明に係る飲料容器および飲料製品の実施形態について、図面を参照して説明する。以下では、本発明に係る飲料製品の一実施形態である飲料製品１を例として説明する。なお、飲料製品１において飲料を収容している飲料容器２は本発明に係る飲料容器の一実施形態である。
〔飲料製品の構成〕
　飲料製品１は、飲料容器２に飲料Ｂが収容された状態で流通および販売に供される商品である（図１、図２）。本実施形態では、飲料製品１はいわゆる缶飲料製品である。なお、飲料Ｂは、清涼飲料水、アルコール飲料、乳飲料など、種類を問わない。
（飲料容器の構成）
　飲料容器２は、香料を保持する香料保持部３と、飲料を収容する飲料収容部４と、被覆部材５と、を備える（図１、図２）。なお、図２では被覆部材５を取り除いた状態を図示している。飲料収容部４はいわゆるステイオンタブ式の缶であり、飲料を収容する部分として機能する缶胴部４１と、缶胴部４１に巻き締められている缶蓋部４２と、を有し、缶蓋部４２にはステイオンタブ４３が設けられている。缶蓋部４２は、ステイオンタブ４３が設けられている他は、後述する開口部４５を含め概ね平坦である。
　被覆部材５を取り除いた後にステイオンタブ４３を起こすように引っ張り力Ｆを加えると、缶蓋部４２のうちのスコア線４４で囲まれた部分（以下、開口部４５と称する。）がステイオンタブ４３に押されて他の部分から切り離されて、開口４６が形成される（図３）。以上が飲料容器２を開封する手順である。
　飲料収容部４を構成する材料は、缶容器を構成する金属材料として一般的に使用される材料でありうる。たとえば、アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム合金、鉄および鉄合金、などが例示されるが、これらに限定されない。なお、缶胴部４１と缶蓋部４２との材料が同一であってもよいし、異なっていてもよい。
　飲料収容部４（缶胴部４１）の満容量は、飲料用のステイオンタブ式缶容器として一般的に使用される容量であってよい。当該満容量は、たとえば１００～１０００ｍＬでありうるが、これに限定されない。なお、飲料Ｂの充填量は、飲料収容部４（缶胴部４１）の満容量より少なく、たとえば満容量の９５％程度である。
（香料保持具）
　香料保持部３は、香料を保持するシート状の部材として構成され、その材質は香料を保持する方法に応じて選択される。香料保持部３は、たとえば、高分子製の基材に香料を吸着させたもの、繊維製の基材に香料を含浸させたもの、多孔質材料製の基材の細孔に香料を担持させたもの、などでありうる。香料保持部３は、缶蓋部４２の上面に、ステイオンタブ４３および開口部４５以外の大部分を覆うように貼り付けられている。缶蓋部４２は概ね平坦であるので、香料保持部３の固定は、接着剤等を用いて容易に実施できる。
（被覆部材）
　被覆部材５は、香料保持部３が貼り付けられた缶蓋部４２の全体を覆う部材である。したがって、ステイオンタブ４３、開口部４５、および香料保持部３が被覆部材５に覆われている。そのため、飲料製品１を開封して飲料Ｂを飲もうとする消費者は、被覆部材５を取り除いた後に、ステイオンタブ４３を操作して開口部４５を開く（開口４６を設ける）ことになる。この操作により、飲料Ｂを飲もうとする消費者に香料が届く。
　被覆部材５は、香料保持部３に保持された香料が流通過程で拡散することを防ぐ役割を果たす。被覆部材５は、たとえばポリエチレンテレフタレートやポリプロピレンなどの材料で形成されうる。
（変形例）
　図４に示す変形例１では、香料保持部６が、香料を保持するシート状の部材である香料シート６１と、香料シート６１を密封する香料密封部材６２と、を有し、被覆部材５と香料密封部材６２とが接続部材Ｃ１によって接続されている。香料シート６１は、たとえば、高分子製の基材に香料を吸着させたもの、繊維製の基材に香料を含浸させたもの、多孔質材料製の基材の細孔に香料を担持させたもの、などでありうる。
　変形例１では、被覆部材５が取り除かれる際に接続部材Ｃ１が上方に引っ張られて、香料密封部材６２の接続部材Ｃ１に接続されている部分が破壊されることにより、香料密封部材６２の密封が解除される。これによって香料を拡散させることができる。なお、香料密封部材６２の一部を、他の部分より強度が低い被破壊部としておき、香料密封部材６２が破壊されやすいようにしてもよい。具体的には、ミシン目や薄肉部分などを設けることにより被破壊部を実現できる。
　また、被覆部材を取り除くときに、開口が形成されるようにしてもよい。たとえば、カートン容器の天面に貼付された封止材と被覆部材とを接続しておき、被覆部材を取り除くときに封止材も一緒に取り除かれるようにしてもよい。図５に示す変形例２では、カートン容器の天面にあらかじめ設けられた開口４６が、シート状の封止材４７で封止されており、当該封止材４７が接続部材Ｃ２によって被覆部材５と接続されている。変形例２では、被覆部材５が取り除かれる際に接続部材４８が上方に引っ張られて、これに接続されている封止材４７が被覆部材５と同時に取り除かれる。これによって、被覆部材５を取り除くときに、同時に開口４６が開放される。
　なお、変形例２における香料保持部として、変形例１に係る香料保持部６を採用してもよい。この場合は、被覆部材５と香料密封部材６２とを接続する接続部材Ｃ１と、被覆部材５と封止材４７とを接続する接続部材Ｃ２と、の双方が設けられ、被覆部材５を取り除くときに、香料密封部材６２の密封が解除されるとともに、開口４６が開放される。
〔その他の実施形態〕
　最後に、本発明に係る飲料容器および飲料製品のその他の実施形態について説明する。なお、以下のそれぞれの実施形態で開示される構成は、矛盾が生じない限り、他の実施形態で開示される構成と組み合わせて適用することも可能である。
　上記の実施形態では、飲料容器２がステイオンタブ式の缶である構成を例として説明した。しかし、本発明に係る飲料容器は缶に限定されず、瓶、プラスチックボトル、カートン容器などであってもよい。また、この場合、飲料容器の飲料収容部に開口を形成する方法は、飲料容器の種類に応じて適宜選択される。たとえば飲料容器が瓶やペットボトルなどである場合は、スクリューキャップを開口部とする形態が採用されうる。また、たとえば飲料容器がカートン容器である場合は、あらかじめカートン容器の天面に設けられた開口に、当該開口を封止するシート状の封止材を貼付して開口部とする形態が採用されうる。
　開口を形成する際に加えられる所定の力は、飲料収容部の開口を閉鎖する方法によって決定づけられる。被操作部の態様により決定づけられる、ともいえる。たとえば飲料容器がスクリューキャップにより封止されたペットボトルである場合、スクリューキャップが被操作部であり、スクリューキャップを回転させる力が加えられたときに開口が形成される。
　上記の実施形態では、香料保持部３が香料を保持するシート状の部材として構成されている構成を例として説明したが、本発明に係る香料保持部の構成はこの例に限定されない。すなわち、香料保持部は飲料収容部の外側において香料を保持することができる構成であればよく、たとえば、ペースト状の香料を飲料収容部の外側に塗布する、固形状の香料を飲料収容部の外側に埋め込む、などの態様で香料保持部が形成されうる。
　その他の構成に関しても、本明細書において開示された実施形態は全ての点で例示であって、本発明の範囲はそれらによって限定されることはないと理解されるべきである。当業者であれば、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で、適宜改変が可能であることを容易に理解できるであろう。したがって、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で改変された別の実施形態も、当然、本発明の範囲に含まれる。
　本発明は、たとえば清涼飲料水やアルコール飲料などの飲料製品に利用できる。

Claims (6)

  1. 　飲料を収容する飲料収容部と、
    　前記飲料収容部の外側において香料を保持する香料保持部と、
    　被覆部材と、を備え、
    　前記飲料収容部に対して、開口を形成可能であり、
    　前記飲料収容部における前記開口が形成される部位および前記香料保持部が、前記被覆部材に覆われている飲料容器。
  2. 　前記香料保持部が、前記香料が密封されている香料密封部材を含み、
    　前記香料密封部材が前記被覆部材に接続されており、
    　前記被覆部材を取り除くときに、前記香料密封部材の密封が解除される請求項１に記載の飲料容器。
  3. 　前記被覆部材を取り除くときに、前記開口が形成されるように構成されている請求項１に記載の飲料容器。
  4. 　前記飲料収容部が缶であり、
    　前記香料保持部が前記缶の天面に設けられている請求項１に記載の飲料容器。
  5. 　前記香料保持部が、前記香料を含む香料シートを有する請求項１に記載の飲料容器。
  6. 　請求項１～５のいずれか一項に記載の飲料容器の前記飲料収容部に飲料が収容されている飲料製品。
