- the black valve symbol indicates that the valve is open. The symbol indicates that the valve is closed. This point also applies to FIGS. 4 to 8 and FIGS. 10 to 18, which will be described later.
- the downstream valve 32 and each inert gas supply valve 52, 54, 56 are closed, and the other valves are open.
- the hydrogen gas supply system 100 is in the first standby state, there is no hydrogen gas (more precisely, a combustible amount of hydrogen gas) downstream of the fuel cutoff valve 11 (inside the hydrogen gas supply system 100).
- the branch cutoff section upstream valve 31 and the branch cutoff section downstream valve 32 are closed, the branch cutoff section 35 is blocked.
- inert gas is first supplied to the main cutoff section 15 (step S1). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, after the second exhaust valve 44 is closed, the first inert gas supply valve 52 is opened. As a result, inert gas is supplied to the main cutoff section 15. Thereafter, after increasing the internal pressure of the main cutoff section 15 to a predetermined main cutoff pressure or higher, the first inert gas supply valve 52 is closed and this state is maintained. In this state, the internal pressure of the main shutoff section 15 is measured using the main pressure gauge 16 to confirm that there is no leakage. Note that the above-mentioned "main cutoff pressure" is higher than the pressure of hydrogen gas supplied to the main cutoff section 15.
- step S2 hydrogen gas is supplied to the upstream area 91 (step S2). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5, after the first discharge valve 42 is closed, the fuel cutoff valve 11 is opened. Thereby, hydrogen gas is supplied to the upstream area 91. Note that the state shown in FIG. 5 is referred to as a "second standby state" in this embodiment.
- step S3 inert gas is supplied to the branch cutoff section 35 (step S3). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 6, the third inert gas supply valve 56 is opened. As a result, inert gas is supplied to the branch cutoff section 35. Thereafter, after increasing the internal pressure of the branch cutoff section 35 to a predetermined branch cutoff pressure or higher, the third inert gas supply valve 56 is closed and this state is maintained. In this state, the internal pressure of the branch cutoff section 35 is measured using the branch pressure gauge 36 to confirm that there is no leakage. Note that the above-mentioned "branch cutoff pressure" is higher than the pressure of the hydrogen gas supplied to the branch cutoff section 35.
- step S4 hydrogen gas is supplied to the intermediate area 92 (step S4). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 7, after closing the third discharge valve 46, the main cutoff section upstream valve 12 and the main cutoff section downstream valve 13 are opened. As a result, hydrogen gas is supplied to the intermediate area 92. In this state, the internal pressure of the intermediate area 92 is measured using the hydrogen gas header pressure gauge 21 to confirm that there is no leakage.
- step S5 hydrogen gas is supplied to the downstream area 93 (step S5).
- hydrogen gas is not supplied to all of the plurality of downstream areas 93, but only to the downstream area 93 corresponding to the burner to which hydrogen gas is to be supplied.
- the branch cutoff section upstream valve 31 and the branch cutoff section downstream valve 32 of the downstream area 93 corresponding to the first burner are opened. Thereby, hydrogen gas is supplied only to the first burner.
- the branch cutoff section upstream valve 31 and the branch cutoff section downstream valve 32 remain closed, and the branch cutoff section 35 is filled with inert gas. state.
- the pressure of the inert gas in the branch cutoff section 35 (more than the branch cutoff pressure) is higher than the pressure of the hydrogen gas supplied to the branch cutoff section 35. Therefore, in the downstream area 93 corresponding to the second burner and the third burner, even if there is a gap in the branch cutoff section upstream valve 31 through which highly permeable hydrogen gas can pass, the hydrogen gas will not pass through the branch cutoff section 31. cannot pass through. That is, hydrogen gas will not leak to the second burner and the third burner.
- the above is the explanation of the hydrogen gas supply flow in the hydrogen gas supply system 100.
- FIG. 9 is a diagram showing the flow of stopping the supply of hydrogen gas.
- the intermediate area 92 and the downstream area 93 are depressurized (step S11).
- the second discharge valve is closed. 44 and the third discharge valve 46 are opened.
- the internal pressure of the intermediate area 92 and the downstream area 93 decreases, and the intermediate area 92 and the downstream area 93 are depressurized.
- step S12 the downstream area 93 is purged. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 11, after opening the branch cutoff section downstream valve 32, the third inert gas supply valve 56 of each downstream area 93 is opened. Thereby, hydrogen gas existing inside the downstream area 93 is discharged to the outside of the hydrogen gas supply system 100 via each burner. In other words, the downstream area 93 is purged.
- step S13 the intermediate area 92 is purged (step S13). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 12, after closing the branch cutoff section downstream valve 32, the third inert gas supply valve 56, the second discharge valve 44, and the third discharge valve 46, the first inert Open the gas supply valve 52 and the second inert gas supply valve 54. As a result, the inert gas is supplied to the intermediate area 92, and the internal pressure of the intermediate area 92 increases (accumulates pressure). Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 13, the first inert gas supply valve 52 and the second inert gas supply valve 54 are closed, and the second discharge valve 44 and third discharge valve 46 are opened.
- the intermediate area 92 is opened, and hydrogen gas is discharged together with the inert gas from the intermediate area 92 via the second exhaust pipe 43 and the third exhaust pipe 45. Then, the steps shown in FIGS. 12 and 13 are continuously repeated multiple times. Thereby, hydrogen gas can be reliably discharged from the intermediate area 92 even though the intermediate area 92, which is the area to be purged, has a complicated shape. In other words, highly accurate purge can be performed.
- step S14 the main shutoff section 15 is shut off. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 14, the second discharge valve 44 is closed. As a result, the main cutoff section 15 is cut off.
- step S15 inert gas is supplied to the main cutoff section 15 (step S15). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 15, the first inert gas supply valve 52 is opened. As a result, inert gas is supplied to the main cutoff section 15. After that, the internal pressure of the main cutoff section 15 is raised to the above-mentioned main cutoff pressure or higher, and then the first inert gas supply valve 52 is closed and this state is maintained. Thereby, the hydrogen gas supply system 100 enters the second standby state. In other words, the hydrogen gas supply system 100 is in the state shown in FIG. 5 described above. In this case, even if there is a gap in the main cutoff section upstream valve 12 through which highly permeable hydrogen gas can pass, hydrogen gas cannot pass through the main cutoff section 15.
- the hydrogen gas supply stop flow ends here.
- the hydrogen gas supply system 100 when restarting the supply of hydrogen gas, it starts from step S3 in FIG.
- the hydrogen gas supply system 100 may be placed on standby in the second standby state.
- step S16 the hydrogen gas supply system 100 may be placed on standby in the first standby state.
- step S16 the upstream area 91 is depressurized. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 16, after the fuel cutoff valve 11 is closed, the first discharge valve 42 is opened. As a result, the internal pressure of the upstream area 91 decreases, and the upstream area 91 is depressurized.
- step S17 the upstream area 91 is purged (step S17). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 17, the first inert gas supply valve 52 and the main cutoff section upstream valve 12 are opened. As a result, inert gas flows into the upstream area 91, and hydrogen gas is discharged together with the inert gas to the outside of the hydrogen gas supply system 100 via the first discharge pipe 41.
- step S18 the hydrogen gas supply system 100 is placed in a first standby state (step S18). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 18, the main shutoff section upstream valve 12 is closed, the first inert gas supply valve 52 is further closed, and then the second discharge valve 44 is opened. That is, the hydrogen gas supply system 100 is brought into the state shown in FIG. 3 . In this case, when restarting the supply of hydrogen gas, it starts from step S1 in FIG.
- the above is the explanation of the hydrogen gas supply stop flow in the hydrogen gas supply system 100.
- a first item disclosed in this specification is that, in a hydrogen gas supply system, an inert gas is supplied to a sealed purge target area to increase the internal pressure of the purge target area, and then the purge target area is
- This is a method of operating a hydrogen gas supply system, in which the purge target area is purged by continuously repeating the process of opening the purge target area and discharging hydrogen gas together with an inert gas from the purge target area multiple times.
- hydrogen gas can be thoroughly discharged from the area to be purged.
- a highly accurate barge can be performed.
