Definitions

  • the present invention is in the sector of biomedical engineering and telecommunications.
  • the present invention arises from the need to perform orotracheal intubation in patients with difficult airways and when exposed to aerosols, because existing devices usually present technical difficulties due to the exposure of the display screen to aerosols, which generates risk. of contamination with other patients by not being able to sterilize them.
  • the construction materials that characterize the device object of this patent they allow it to be effectively sterilized in physical media or conventional sterilization liquids, even resisting high temperatures such as 120° autoclaves.
  • said patent is shown as a device with an attached screen for viewing images, increasing the risk of contamination by aerosols of the patient and increasing costs, however the invention of the present patent process allows connection to any screen with WIFI reception, such as a tablet, cell phone or smart TV, which eliminates the risk of contamination by moving the screen away from the patient's mouth and therefore reduces costs.
