Definitions
- the present invention relates to a clothing processing device and a control method of the clothing processing device. More specifically, it relates to a clothing handling device that can determine whether clothing has fallen through an illuminance sensor.
- clothing treatment devices include a washing machine that wets clothes in water and turns them into a wet cloth and then removes foreign substances through the chemical action of detergent and physical action such as drum rotation, and a dryer that dries the clothes in the wet cloth using hot air and steam. It is a concept that includes.
- Figure 1 shows a conventional clothing treatment device equipped with a steam supply unit.
- a conventional clothing processing device includes a cabinet (1) forming the exterior, and an inner case (2) provided inside the cabinet (1) to hold clothes. do.
- the clothing treatment device includes a circulation duct 13 at the bottom of the inner case 2 that circulates the air of the inner case 2, and a heat exchanger 15 provided in the circulation duct 13 to exchange heat with the air. ) and a compressor (14) that supplies high-temperature refrigerant to the heat exchanger (15). Additionally, the inner case 2 may be provided with a hanger portion capable of holding the clothing. When the compressor 14 is driven, hot air is supplied to the inner case 2 to increase the temperature inside the inner case 2, and the clothes can be dried or sterilized.

- the clothing treatment device or the control unit (C) may determine whether the clothing has fallen through the sensor unit 700 detecting a decrease in illumination.
- the fallen clothing blocks the light emitted from the light emitting unit 600. Therefore, since the light emitted from the light emitting unit 600 does not reach the sensor unit 700, the sensor unit 700 can detect an abnormal decrease in illuminance.
- the sensor unit 700 may be placed closer to the bottom surface of the inner case 200 than the hanger unit.

- the light emitting unit 600 may be disposed in the middle of the door in the width direction. As a result, the non-detection area in which the light emitting unit 600 cannot be detected can be reduced as much as possible no matter where the sensor unit 700 is installed. That is, by minimizing the blind spot of the sensor unit 700, fallen clothing can be detected no matter where the clothing falls, and more light emitted from the light emitting unit 600 can be received.
- the light emitting unit 600 and the sensor unit 700 may be provided in the same spatial area.
- the light emitting unit 600 and the sensor unit 700 may be provided in the third spatial area V3.

- the clothing processing device may perform a confirmation step (I4) in which the user is asked to confirm whether to proceed with the next process.
- the confirmation step (I4) the user can select and input whether to continue with the subsequent course through the input unit (I). At this time, the user may determine that the clothing has not fallen or that the body filter 386 has been properly installed and may choose to continue the course. Accordingly, the user can dispose of the clothing according to the user's will.
- the clothing treatment step may be started or continued.
- a course input/change step (not shown) may be performed when the user turns on the power of the laundry treatment device and power is supplied.
- the user can select and input the desired course through the input unit (I).
- the compressor, heater, moving hanger, etc. begin to operate accordingly. For example, when a normal clothing treatment course is selected, the heater starts operating to generate steam.
- the clothing treatment step can be performed as the user intended.
