이하에서 언급되는 "단말"은 네트워크를 통해 서버나 타 단말에 접속할 수 있는 컴퓨터나 휴대용 단말로 구현될 수 있다. 여기서, 컴퓨터는 예를 들어, 웹 브라우저(WEB Browser)가 탑재된 노트북, 데스크톱(desktop), 랩톱(laptop) 등을 포함하고, 휴대용 단말은 예를 들어, 휴대성과 이동성이 보장되는 무선 통신 장치로서, IMT(International Mobile Telecommunication), CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access), W-CDMA(W-Code Division Multiple Access), LTE(Long Term Evolution) 등의 통신 기반 단말, 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC 등과 같은 모든 종류의 핸드헬드(Handheld) 기반의 무선 통신 장치를 포함할 수 있다.

전자 장치(10)와 사용자 단말 1(20) 및 사용자 단말 2(30)은 네트워크(40) 내에서 서로 통신할 수 있다. 네트워크(40)는 근거리 통신망(Local Area Network; LAN), 광역 통신망(Wide Area Network; WAN), 부가가치 통신망(Value Added Network; VAN), 이동 통신망(mobile radio communication network), 위성 통신망 및 이들의 상호 조합을 포함하며, 도 1에 도시된 각 네트워크 구성 주체가 서로 원활하게 통신을 할 수 있도록 하는 포괄적인 의미의 데이터 통신망이며, 유선 인터넷, 무선 인터넷 및 모바일 무선 통신망을 포함할 수 있다. 무선 통신은 예를 들어, 무선 랜(Wi-Fi), 블루투스, 블루투스 저 에너지(Bluetooth low energy), 지그비, WFD(Wi-Fi Direct), UWB(ultra wideband), 적외선 통신(IrDA, infrared Data Association), NFC(Near Field Communication) 등이 있을 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
전자 장치(10)는 사용자에게 아이템을 판매하기 위해 아이템과 관련된 모든 정보를 제공할 수 있으며, 아이템과 관련된 정보를 제공하는 서버에 포함될 수 있다. 이때, 사용자 단말 1(20) 및 사용자 단말 2(30)은 사용자가 아이템을 구매하기 위해 이용하는 단말에 대응할 수 있다. 전자 장치(10)는 아이템과 관련된 정보를 제공하기 위한 애플리케이션을 단말(20, 30)에 제공할 수 있다. 사용자 단말 1(20) 및 사용자 단말 2(30)은 사용자가 이용하는 단말로서, 사용자는 단말(20, 30)을 통해 전자 장치(10)로부터 제공된 정보를 이용하여 아이템을 구매할 수 있다.

도 2는 일 실시 예에 따른, A사 아이템과 관련된 검색 결과 페이지를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 브랜드 A사에서 출시한 아이템 리스트를 포함하는 검색 결과 페이지를 확인할 수 있다. 검색 결과 페이지는 사용자가 입력한 검색 조건에 부합한 아이템 리스트를 포함하는 페이지일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 사용자가 검색어 X를 입력한 경우 검색어 X에 매칭되는 복수의 아이템 리스트가 검색 결과 페이지에 표시될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면, 사용자가 특정 브랜드를 선택한 경우, 특정 브랜드에서 출시한 복수의 아이템 리스트가 검색 결과 페이지에 표시될 수 있다.

도 2와 같은 검색 결과 페이지에서 사용자가 하나의 아이템을 선택한 경우, 도 3과 같은 아이템 상세 페이지가 표시될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 도 2의 검색 결과 페이지에서 사용자가 아이템 4를 선택한 경우, 도 3과 같은 아이템 4에 대한 정보를 포함하는 아이템 상세 페이지가 표시될 수 있다.

여기서, 제1 카테고리와 제2 카테고리는 할인 혜택을 제공하는 주체가 상이할 수 있다. 즉, 제1 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보는 브랜드가 아닌 전자 장치를 관리하는 서비스 제공자가 제공하는 특별한 멤버십 서비스에 가입한 사용자에게 제공되는 할인 혜택 정보이고, 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보는 특정 브랜드의 아이템에 제공하는 할인 혜택 정보일 수 있다.
제1 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보는 복수의 쿠폰을 포함할 수 있지만 이중에서 조건을 만족하는 하나의 쿠폰만 적용 가능하고, 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보도 복수의 쿠폰을 포함할 수 있지만 이중에서 조건을 만족하는 하나의 쿠폰만 적용 가능할 수 있다. 즉, 각 카테고리 별로 하나의 쿠폰만 적용될 수 있다.
다만, 각 카테고리는 병렬적 관계로서 제1 카테고리의 할인 혜택과 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택은 동시에 적용될 수 있다. 즉, 조건을 만족할 경우 아이템 4에 제1 카테고리의 할인 혜택과 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택이 동시에 적용될 수 있다. 서로 다른 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보가 구분된 영역에 제공되지 않으면 사용자는 추천 페이지를 통해 적용 가능한 할인 혜택 정보를 확인하는 번거로운 과정을 거쳐야 하며, 이러한 과정에서 사용자가 적용 가능한 할인 혜택도 놓치는 경우가 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 서로 다른 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보가 구분된 영역에 제공됨으로써 사용자는 번거로운 과정 없이 적용 가능한 할인 혜택을 모두 적용받을 수 있어 서비스 만족도가 증가할 수 있다.
도 4a 및 도 4b는 일 실시 예에 따른 추천 페이지를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
도 3에서 제1 카테고리 또는 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보와 관련하여 영역(303, 307)을 선택할 경우 도 4a 및 도 4b와 같은 추천 페이지가 표시될 수 있다.
제1 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보로서 복수의 쿠폰이 포함될 수 있으며, 이에 대한 정보가 추천 페이지에 표시될 수 있다. 또는 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보로서 복수의 쿠폰이 포함될 수 있으며, 이에 대한 정보가 추천 페이지에 표시될 수 있다.
도 4a를 참조하면, 영역(401)은 제1 쿠폰과 관련하여 할인 혜택을 적용받기 위해 필요한 조건에 대한 정보를 포함하며, 조건에 대한 정보의 일 예시는 “50,000원 이상 구매 시 5,000원 할인”과 같은 문구를 포함할 수 있다. 이때 할인 혜택을 적용 받기 위해 필요한 조건은 기 설정된 임계 금액을 포함할 수 있으며, 예컨대 도 4a에서 제1 쿠폰에 대응하는 기 설정된 임계 금액은 50,000원일 수 있다. 즉, 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위해서는 사용자가 50,000원 이상 구매할 필요가 있다.
영역(402)는 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위한 조건의 달성에 얼마나 근접하였는지를 시각적으로 표시하는 사용자 인터페이스를 표시할 수 있다. 사용자 인터페이스는, 제1 쿠폰에 대응하는 기 설정된 임계 금액과 사용자에 의해 선택된 아이템의 총 금액 간의 차이를 시각적으로 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 사용자 인터페이스는 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위해 기 설정된 임계 금액 50,000원과 사용자에 의해 선택된 아이템 4의 총 금액 29,900원 간의 차이인 20,100원를 시각적으로 표시할 수 있다.
전자 장치는 영역(404)에서 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위해 필요한 조건의 만족을 위해 제1 쿠폰이 적용 가능한 복수의 아이템들에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 즉, 전자 장치는 제1 쿠폰이 적용 가능한 복수의 아이템들 중에서, 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위한 조건을 달성할 수 있도록 일정한 기준에 따라 정렬된 복수의 아이템들에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있다.

실시 예에 따르면, 전자 장치는 영역(404)에 표시되는 영역(405) 이외의 아이템들을 도 2의 검색 결과 페이지에 표시되는 아이템들의 정렬 순서에 따라 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 도2 의 검색 결과 페이지에서 아이템 1 - 아이템 2 - 아이템 3 - 아이템 4 - 아이템 5 ~ 순서로 표시되었으므로, 전자 장치는 사용자에 의해 선택된 아이템 4를 제외한 아이템 1 - 아이템 2 - 아이템 3 - 아이템 5 순서로 영역(404)에 표시할 수 있다.
실시 예에 따르면, 전자 장치는 영역(404)에 표시되는 영역(405) 이외의 아이템들을 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위한 조건의 만족에 용이한 순서에 따라 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위한 조건으로서 20,100원의 추가 구매가 필요하므로, 전자 장치는 영역(405) 이외의 영역에서 이에 가장 근접한 순서대로 정렬하여 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 전자 장치는 20,100원의 추가 구매에 가장 근접한 가격을 고려하여 아이템 1 - 아이템 2 ~ 순서로 정렬하여 영역(404)에 표시할 수 있다.
실시 예에 따르면, 전자 장치는 영역(404)에 포함되는 영역(405) 이외 표시되는 제1 쿠폰의 적용을 위한 조건을 만족할 수 있는 아이템들 중에서, 다른 사용자들이 아이템 4와 함께 많이 구매한 아이템 순서대로 정렬하여 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 전자 장치는 20,100원의 추가 구매 조건을 만족할 수 있는 아이템들 중에서, 다른 사용자들이 아이템 4와 함께 많이 구매한 순서대로 정렬하여 영역(404)에 표시할 수 있다.
실시 예에 따르면, 사용자가 과거 관심 아이템으로 설정한 아이템 중에서 제1 쿠폰의 적용 대상인 아이템이 있는 경우, 전자 장치는 영역(404)에 포함되는 영역(405) 이외에서 관심 아이템을 우선 순위로 표시하고 나머지를 상기 정렬 순서에 따라 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 사용자가 과거 관심 아이템으로 설정한 아이템 중에서 제1 쿠폰의 적용 대상인 아이템 1이 있는 경우, 전자 장치는 아이템 4를 제외하고 아이템 1을 가장 먼저 표시하고 나머지를 상기 정렬 순서에 따라 표시할 수 있다. 관심 아이템의 경우 사용자의 구매 의도가 상대적으로 높은 아이템으로서, 사용자에게 노출되는 빈도를 증가시켜 사용자의 구매를 유도할 수 있다.
영역(407)은 추천 페이지에서 선택된 아이템의 개수에 대한 정보를 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 도 4a에서 영역(405)의 아이템 4만 추가로 선택된 경우, 영역(407)에서 "아이템 1개 담기"로 표시될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면, 도 4b에서 영역(408)의 아이템 1에 대한 체크 박스(409)가 체크된 경우, 영역(407)에서 "아이템 2개 담기"로 표시될 수 있다. 따라서, 사용자는 최종 구매 결정 과정에서 추가 선택한 아이템의 개수를 다시 한번 확인할 수 있다.
실시 예에 따르면, 전자 장치는 영역(403)이 선택될 경우, 제1 쿠폰과 다른 복수의 쿠폰에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 제1 카테고리 또는 제2 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보로서 하나의 쿠폰만 있는 경우 영역(403)은 비활성화될 수 있지만, 복수의 쿠폰이 있는 경우 영역(403)은 활성화될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 카테고리의 할인 혜택 정보로서 아이템 4에 제1 쿠폰 외에도 제2 쿠폰, 제3 쿠폰 및 제4 쿠폰이 적용 가능할 수도 있다. 전자 장치는 복수의 쿠폰 중에서 추천 페이지에 디폴트로 표시되는 쿠폰으로 조건의 만족이 상대적으로 용이한 쿠폰을 표시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 전자 장치는 제1 쿠폰 내지 제4 쿠폰 중에서 기 설정된 임계 금액이 가장 작아 조건 만족이 상대적으로 용이한 제1 쿠폰을 디폴트로 추천 페이지에 표시할 수 있다.
만약, 제1 쿠폰에서 다른 쿠폰으로 변경될 경우, 전자 장치는 영역(402)의 사용자 인터페이스에 표시되는 상태를 변경할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 기 설정된 임계 금액이 50,000원인 제1 쿠폰에서 기 설정된 임계 금액은 100,000원인 제2 쿠폰으로 변경될 경우, 전자 장치는 조건의 만족에 얼마나 근접하였는지를 표시하는 사용자 인터페이스의 상태를 변경할 수 있다.
또한, 전자 장치는 제1 쿠폰에서 다른 쿠폰으로 변경될 경우, 영역(404)에 표시되는 복수의 아이템들의 순서 또한 변경할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 전자 장치는 제1 쿠폰의 기 설정된 임계 금액 조건의 만족을 위해 아이템 1-아이템 2 순서로 표시하였지만, 제2 쿠폰의 기 설정된 임계 금액 조건의 만족을 위해 아이템 7-아이템 10 순서로 변경할 수 있다.

영역(530)에 표시된 키워드 중에서 특정 키워드가 선택될 경우, 해당 키워드에 대응하는 도 2와 같은 검색 결과 페이지로 화면 전환될 수 있다.

도 6은 일 실시 예에 따른 쿠폰의 적용을 위해 필요한 조건을 설명하기 위한 도면이다.

단계 S720에서 전자 장치는 사용자 단말로부터 획득된 제1 입력에 기반하여 아이템에 할인 혜택 정보의 적용과 관련된 정보를 포함하는 추천 페이지를 제공할 수 있다. 추천 페이지와 관련하여 전술한 도 4a, 4B, 5 및 6에 기재된 내용이 적용될 수 있다.

    상기 추천 페이지는,
    상기 아이템 상세 페이지의 아이템에 상기 할인 혜택 정보의 적용을 위한 필요한 조건의 만족에 근접하였는지를 시각적으로 표시하는 사용자 인터페이스를 포함하고,
    상기 필요한 조건은, 상기 할인 혜택 정보에 대응하는 기 설정된 임계 금액을 포함하고,
    상기 사용자 인터페이스는,
    상기 복수의 아이템들 중에서 선택된 일부 아이템에 관한 금액과 상기 기 설정된 임계 금액 간의 차이를 시각적으로 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는,

    상기 추천 페이지는,
