Abstract
Description
背側に位置する背側部材と、
刃側に位置し、2以上の異なる金属材料が積層された積層材により形成された刃側部材と、を備え、
刃側部材は、背側部材よりも薄い積層材を、刃先側から見て少なくとも一部が湾曲するよう加工されたうえで背側部材と接合され、接合後に研削及び研磨の少なくとも一方を行うことで模様を形成している。
刃側部材は、刃先側から見て波打ち形状となるよう加工される。
刃側部材は、研削及び研磨の少なくとも一方を施されることで、刃側部材の異なる金属材料がおもて面及び裏面の少なくとも一方に露出して模様を形成している。
刃側部材は、湾曲するよう加工された状態において、刃先側から見た厚さが背側部材と略同じ厚さとなっている。
刃側部材の厚み方向の中心線が、背側部材の厚み方向の中心線と略重なるよう接合されている。
刃側部材の厚み方向の中心線は、刃先側から見て、刃側部材のおもて面側の頂点を結んだ線と、裏面側の頂点を結んだ線との真中を通る線である。
刃側部材はエッチング加工が施されている。
2以上の異なる金属材料が積層された積層材により形成された刃側部材を、刃先となる方向から見て少なくとも一部が湾曲するよう加工する湾曲加工ステップと、
刃側部材を背側部材と接合する接合加工ステップと、
接合された刃側部材と背側部材とに対して研削及び研磨の少なくとも一方を行い模様を形成する研削研磨加工ステップと、を含む。
実施形態で具体的に説明した包丁1、及び包丁1の製造方法には、以下に示す変形例を適用可能である。
本実施形態の包丁1は、例えば以下のような特徴を有する。

Claims (9)
- 背側に位置する背側部材と、
刃側に位置し、2以上の異なる金属材料が積層された積層材により形成された刃側部材と、を備える包丁であって、
前記刃側部材は、前記背側部材よりも薄く、刃先側から見て少なくとも一部が湾曲するよう加工されたうえで前記背側部材と接合され、接合後に研削及び研磨の少なくとも一方を行うことで模様を形成している、
包丁。 - 前記刃側部材は、刃先側から見て波打ち形状となるよう加工される、
請求項1に記載の包丁。 - 前記刃側部材は、研削及び研磨の少なくとも一方を施されることで、前記異なる金属材料がおもて面及び裏面の少なくとも一方に露出して模様を形成している、
請求項1または2に記載の包丁。 - 前記刃側部材は、前記湾曲するよう加工された状態において、前記刃先側から見た厚さが前記背側部材と略同じ厚さとなっている、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の包丁。 - 前記刃側部材の厚み方向の中心線が、前記背側部材の厚み方向の中心線と略重なるよう接合されている、
請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の包丁。 - 前記刃側部材の厚み方向の中心線は、刃先側から見て、前記刃側部材のおもて面側の頂点を結んだ線と、裏面側の頂点を結んだ線との真中を通る線である、
請求項5に記載の包丁。 - 前記刃側部材はエッチング加工が施されている、
請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の包丁。 - 2以上の異なる金属材料が積層された積層材により形成された刃側部材を、刃先となる方向から見て少なくとも一部が湾曲するよう加工する湾曲加工ステップと、
前記刃側部材を背側部材と接合する接合加工ステップと、
接合された前記刃側部材と前記背側部材とに対して研削及び研磨の少なくとも一方を行い模様を形成する研削研磨加工ステップと、を含む、
包丁の製造方法。 - 前記湾曲加工ステップにおいて加工された前記刃側部材は、刃先となる方向から見た厚さが前記背側部材と略同じ厚さとなっている、
